It was so relaxing. We chose a KOA simply because we knew it would be an awesome place for first time rv'ers. It was awesome as expected. If any criticism, the price is a bit high. The price is more like the cost of a hotel. With gas prices and inflation, dropping the prices would be great

Clean facilities and grounds. I didn’t like the view of sewer connections of spaces right next door which is where our picnic table and fire pit are close by. Next time I will think about requesting a different space if that’s possible.

Great campground. Play area for kids was wonderful, everything is immaculately maintained. Cabins are great, outside the cabins you have wonderful furniture, fire pits and standing grills! Staff is very friendly and helpful!!

Employees were very friendly and looked after us a more like Family then customers. Everything was well kept and clean, sites were well maintained. The hedges were a great idea between campsite made it more personable and it was like you were camping alone not with a group of people.

Easy check-in. Clean grounds. Close to the beach. Community showers weren't as clean as expected. Easily taken care of with disinfectant wipes.

When we checked in we didn't get a mirror hanger. Guy chased us down told us it HAD to be hanging from the mirror and didn't believe we didn't get one. We never saw anyone else getting chased down and 75% other campers didn't have it hanging. They crammed as many sites as they could so it's TIGHT quarters so tight that our truck got backed into by another camper as he was squeezing into his site.

All campers need a car pass on their rear view or visible in their dash. All cars that do not have one are stopped by staff. We want to ensure a safe and secure park. Sorry we did not work out for you.

Site #51 was long and narrow and shared with #47. A barrier should be added between these 2 sites to help with boundaries. The "Dog Walking Area" is a steep narrow path to the beach. Dangerous at the bottom. Only one dog can be on the path at a time. As advertised, there is no FENCED in dog run. One is desperately needed! Should also consider adding an ocean viewing deck (remove some cabins).

I spent three nights at the Waldport KOA. Impressed by the quality of operation throughout my visit. Staff were excellent, maintenance, appearance and peacefulness. Super satisfied and will return and highly recommend. Most impressive was the customer service by individuals greeting the new arrivals and current guests. They are great.. Nice work… I’m a happy camper largely due to my experience

We were put in a very small site that had a rut in it so we had difficulty leveling out trailer and really couldn't get it level. The next day we went to ask for another site and was offered one next to the restrooms or a more expensive one. We took the more expensive one ; it was nice and level.

Site was way to narrow for our rig. Popouts hit hedge on one side, door side only 4 feet. Many much better wide spots. No escort drove lost to site, camper helped us to site. Had to shut all our windows because camper cabin had a big fire other side of hedge 4 ft from trailer. Other than all that great.

We enjoyed the smaller size of the campground which offered a scenic view, relatively spacious sites, clean accommodations & full hook-ups. The beach access was ideal for beach combing & digging for clams. The amenities were perfect for us; 2 playground areas, beach, bathrooms, shower, laundry & store for basic goods. The employees were helpful & polite, owners seemed great too. We'll be back!

The only issue we had was that the store doesn't open until 10 am...that's late. I would rather they closed earlier and were open earlier. Not much to do actually at the KOA. The view was spectacular.

We were really disappointed this year for my family's annual camp out. 3 out of 4 years we have came to Waldport. We made reservations 10 months in advance. and they could not tell us which cabin we would have. We called a week before going and they said we had the Lodge,#37A, with a full kitchen. Upon arrival there was no where to cook anything except for a microwave and other disappointments.

Wonderful little jewel of the Pacific Coast. Clean, well run, and the wi-fi is the best I have experienced at any KOA across the country.

I don't often give 5 star reviews as a wise business man once told me "There's always room for improvement" as i rated his laundromat. This park is a premium facility located on the north side of Alsea Bay with spectacular views of the bay bridge, the bay and City of Waldport. The spaces and grounds are immaculate as are the bathrooms and facilities. I would advise people and people with pets to prepare for fleas and ticks. This is no fault on any particular facility or business. There's fleas and ticks at many areas along our coast. My friend and I had a very fine time during our stay. I very highly recommend this KOA Campground in Waldport Oregon.
