Though there's were a lot of people staying there, it was a fun, quiet environment within a short distance from everything were needed and the beach. Our dog loved it and all the other dog owners were very polite. So much to do for kids. I only wish we could've spent more time and can't wait for the pool to officially open. We'll be back next year!

We absolutely love this KOA. Even with the pool being closed. We knew this was a possibility last year as they told us when making our reservations. There were many things to do at the KOA and surrounding areas. For our family we are very thankful to have this great place to make memeories. We have our reservations for next year. Looking forward to it.

Checking in at first I felt a bit unwelcome. But after returning the hour later as we were told to, the other young lady was very friendly. All-in-all, everything else was fine.

I haven't visited the area or stayed at a location like this for 20 years. I wasn't sure what to expect. I booked it early back in April and was advised the pool might not be ready. When I arrived I was told the pool was done but the city still would not allow them to open it. Pool was gorgeous and they are very organized. Loved it and will go back.

The staff was courteous and efficient. Our cabin was clean and everything was in good working condition. The campground is conveniently located near the Virginia Beach oceanfront and the less congested Sandbridge beaches are only 9 miles away. The other guests were well behaved and observed the posted quiet hours.

Well when I booked 2 cabins in January there was no mention that the campground pools were going under complete renovations. It would have been nice to know at the time of booking. Also one of the cabins had no hot water and it was never fixed. The other cabin was ant infested and all the front desk could say it’s that time of season. Other than that the cabins are very nice inside.

My family had the best time with the campground..we rented a cabin and it was clean and comfortable and I loved how each one had its own grill and fire pit for personalized space.. so much to do and friendly staff which made it all the more pleasurable!! Activities was plentiful.. food trucks and live music .. very family and child friendly atmosphere!!

Great staff, friendly check-in even though they were busy. Bathrooms were kept clean. There was plenty to do. We enjoyed the changing menu of food trucks.

Clean and comfy cabins. The ants, no pool, and leaking a/c unit were annoying but bearable. Loved the friendly and hard working staff. The guest services, activities and communication was superb. We appreciated the attention to the grounds and neat appearance of the property.

I was disappointed that the pool was closed for renovation, but when I had originally made the reservation, the website said it would be open. I wish I would of received an email when KOA knew the pool would not be open, so I could of booked some place else. It was extremely hot and no place to go swimming at the campsite.

Disappointed that the cabin had ants from the kitchen to bedrooms. We had an issue with our tub, and one of the front staff members made it seem like it was our fault, when it took 4 maintenance guys to resolve the issue.

This was our 3rd visit - Could have improved on cabin cleaning / bathroom n also need more work on mosquito control.

Spent our family reunion (47 people) at the VA Beach Koa. Multiple issues:(1)Even though we worked with the property manager ahead of time on cabin blocks, we had several cabin mix-ups; (2)When requesting to use the pavilion on a day it stormed & rained all day, we had multiple rude staff encounters; and(3)Cabins had bed bugs, and ants & spiders on kitchen counters & ON bunkbeds. Not coming back!

Cabin was ready when promised. Great amenities, liked having soap, linens, plates etc. Microwave was of good size to prepare meals, gas grill great, gas included. AC and fans worked well. Great customer service. Coffee maker worked great. Cabin comfortable for a family of 4.

C'était très propre, la cabine était agréable. Cependant, il faudrait absolument mentionner sur le site et lors de réservation que la cabine ne contient aucun matériel pour cuisiner ni de couteau! ET qu'il faut amener son réchaud extérieur avec des casseroles et le matériel de cuisson. Nous avons dû acheter du matériel de camping afin de pouvoir préparer les repas.

It was wonderful EXCEPT the mirror in the cabin was missing and I would think that the cleaning crew should have noticed it before we got there, as the office didn’t know about it before I told them.

Visiting VB in summer for family reunion with about 25 kids and KOA pool is closed due to construction in peak of summer. Koa team never informed about pool closed or other services. Inquired about pavilion were told it is first come first no reservations need. We were denied to use pavilion by your staff as we did not have reservation. Very disappointed

The stay was great. The staff was excellent. Was a bit disappointed the pool was not completed yet. It does look like it is going to be fantastic! Unfortunately we did have a few rainy days on our stay but sometimes that happens. The bathrooms are cleaned often.

We loved the KOA! It was our first time staying here and compared to fancy hotels I will always continue to glamp with the kids. They had such a great time! The cabin was clean, however we did deal with some ants in the top bunk bed where my son slept. The kids ended up sharing the bottom bunk to sleep. The bed linens could have been cleaner, hair.Mattress could use updating. Overall great time!

The campground itself we give 5 stars but we rated 4 due to the people in the cabin next to us smoked pot after dark and we weren't able to enjoy sitting outside much.

The deluxe cabins are just great ��� It was very clean and the back patio for a quiet time and lunch was perfect � If i would have to say if something was missing in the cabin……a water hose outside would have been great for rinsing our stuff after a long day at the beach. But overall i will recommand the place to everybody who is looking to have good time �����

We have been staying here for the past 3 years and watched the campground evolve from being ok to awesome. It is well taken care of and many upgrades in the past year from the new pool, playground, landscaping, bathhouse updates and new pavement have really added to the beauty and camping experience. The general manager Kieth's passion and enthusiasm to make your camping experience a great one really shows.
