It was nice and quiet. But those, like me, who reserve a spot online need to be aware that although the reservation identifies checking as 1PM, the office doesn’t open until 3PM - there was no information about our site assignment when we arrived at 1PM. I used the 1-800 # on our reservation and eventually obtained our site assignment, but it still required us to return from sightseeing by 6PM

Cabin lights on all night. Too many lights. Shower did not work in one. One bathroom had a leaky toilet. Picnic table was bad - broken seat.

We stayed 5 days at this KOA and the staff was friendly and fun to be around. They were helpful with various day trips to see this beautiful area. How could you ever complain when deer and turkeys were right behind our RV to watch each morning and early evenings. The off season hours of the store were slightly inconvenient as quite often we were gone when it was open.

Second stay in a month....stayed 16 days this time and for good reason!!! Amazing site, amazing staff!! 100% will be there again and probably sooner rather than later!! Best KOA since we started our full time RV life!!!

Very pleasant. We rented a premium site and it was excellent. The kids especially enjoyed the included swing. The play area was a lot of fun for the kids. A very tall slide and the bounce area were great. We’re planning to return soon

There are plenty of free amenities for kids. Centrally located near town and recreation. We have stayed there in the past and would definitely book there again.

Simply amazing!!! The newly appointed manager, Daniel, went above and beyond even though it was the first day of the season!! Beautiful sites, well kept and again the new manager FANTASTIC!!!

We stayed the last couple of days this KOA was open for the season. They were very accommodating and very friendly! The campground is very well kept, clean bathrooms, even delivered firewood to our site. We will definitely be back !!

The grounds were well kept and the pull through site was level. The office staff was very friendly and helpful with sightseeing recommendations. Would definitely stay there again.

It was so nice having all the amenities! There was a playground, mini golf, and games. There were also things you could rent. The rv site was clean and the map we got was easy to follow! We will definitely stay here again!

We had a good two night stay here at Dinosaurland KOA in Vernal, UT. Our site, FHU's Back-in was in what looked to be their newer area (Section B) and it was awesome. Very, very spacious between sites and ours backed up to some woods and a flock of Turkey's paraded through a couple of times. Being just outside of town, the campground was an ideal spot to use as a home base as we explored the area.

Very warm welcome from Tammy! She was very helpful! Wifi worked great, laundry was nice and clean as were the bathrooms. Thanks so much for a lovely stay. Hope we can stay longer in the future.

Staff totally helpful and accommodating. Nice amenities, fire pits the works. Clean spots so return the favor and clean up after yourselves.

Very friendly staff. Park and bathrooms were clean. Sites are very narrow. During a busy period campers would be door-to-door.

Excellent resupply and laundry stop. Close to town, not much road noise during the night. Clean faculties and extremely helpful staff. Would stay again.

Site was spacious and everything worked. Kamphost who filled our propane was delightful. The other Kamphost had a bit of an attitude when we didn't understand her directions about where to park (she assumed we had a check-in map and knew where to go, but there wasn't one for us -- office closed mid-day). Overall very nice place and people.

My only complaints are that the bathrooms weren’t as clean as I am used to at the KOAs I have stayed at before. Also, the store is not stocked with basic amenities that people may have forgotten. Ouray KOA and Cody KOA are my favorite. Overall it was good but room for improvement.

Generally a great stay but, as with most KOA sites we have visited, intermittent wi-fi. The restroom door also failed to lock much to the shock of an American child 🤣 Great location to explore the surrounding area. We loved the Moon Arch which was only a few miles out of town. The shop has a fantastic set of about 20 walks that you can take of the surrounding area. Vernal itself was a nice town and we enjoyed our best, and cheapest, meal there at Betty's Cafe.

The site layout is pretty good with plenty of space. Only 2 complaints were the distance to the bathrooms and the back border of the campsite being a rusty Barbed Wire fence, wouldn't be too great for kids to get tangled up in.
