Not greeted in a friendly fashion. Directions (no escort) given to site had me enter from the wrong side for the hookups. Water hookup broken and soaked me when I turned it on, had to use splitter on next site, good thing I have an extra long hose. Loud parade of locals drove through at dusk, not campers, some sort if event. All in all, unpleasant and I left a day early.

Beautiful sunset and surroundings. Street/highway noise was minimal and NO TRAINS!! Grounds keepers were working everyday. The Staff inside and out were friendly and helpful.

Very nice place to stay. Bathrooms clean, staff attentive and friendly. Would totally stay there again while visiting the area.

We enjoyed our time there. The store was very well stocked, the staff extremely friendly and helpful!! The only thing we see that could be improved would be leveling of the sites.

We had a wonderful stay - Juanita in the office was a joy to talk to! Close to town and Dinosaur Monument - great location !

Everything was great except our tent site was right next to the busy highway. All night long trucks were running. Otherwise it was a great stay.

Cabin and grounds were clean and well maintained. Miniature golf course, swimming pool, playground d and Kamp K9 were also clean and beautiful! Daily activities scheduled to keep guests entertained. The staff was wonderful - housekeeping stopped by to check on my noisy hound with separation anxiety while my husband and I spent a few hours away. We will definitely be back

Laundry room was very dirty, the window track in front of the folding table was completely full of dead bugs, our space was littered with cigarette butts, weeds had not been trimmed, landscaping trim (black plastic))stuck up above ground level 4"+ a terrible tripping hazard, you could see the whole park had a lack of daily maintenanc,, you could get splinters if you sat at the picnic table.

Very clean and well kept campground with easy access to Dinosaur National Monument and to Vernal. Pretty near a busy road with trucks 24 hours a day so if you are in a tent, bring earplugs. Comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Spaces are close together and small so your dodging trees. They allow people to camp in their car therefore they are outside making noise most of the day & night. Children running around after dark making noise. A lot of barking dogs. Bathrooms not maintained very well. Overpriced for the environment you are staying in.

It's a great place to stay just on the edge of town. Very clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay very much and will stay again.

Generally a great stay but, as with most KOA sites we have visited, intermittent wi-fi. The restroom door also failed to lock much to the shock of an American child 🤣 Great location to explore the surrounding area. We loved the Moon Arch which was only a few miles out of town. The shop has a fantastic set of about 20 walks that you can take of the surrounding area. Vernal itself was a nice town and we enjoyed our best, and cheapest, meal there at Betty's Cafe.

The site layout is pretty good with plenty of space. Only 2 complaints were the distance to the bathrooms and the back border of the campsite being a rusty Barbed Wire fence, wouldn't be too great for kids to get tangled up in.
