We loved the back-in sites as they had a lot of space between neighboring campers! The mini golf was fun. The back of the campground was nice and quiet.

Staff are beyond the best I have ever seen. Just the most enthusiastic people ever. The cabin mattress’s were like sinkholes. The kitchen table was sticky. Besides that we had fun.

We had a great time. The Saturday movie with popcorn was dynamite with the kids. The bounce house, tetherball, playground and mini gold was also a win for our kids. The hot showers were a win with my hubby. All around great stay! Thank you!

Well we were back by the trailer park and a big dog kept barking. Some grass. Not the best KOA we’ve stayed at. Just one night and on our way to Moab.

Only thing we did not care for was the mobile home neighborhood that had to drive thru the KOA to come and go. Constant traffic. Nice restrooms and showers. Really nice outdoor kitchen facilities. Multiple cabins and 2 teepees.

We have been astonished by the beauty within a short drive of the campground. We are also quite impressed with the amenities of the campground and the kindness and friendliness of the folks who work here. There is no doubt that we will be back!

Lovely property, and short drive to area attractions. Friendly staff. Stayed in a deluxe cabin which was well stocked. Really enjoyed the patio, covered porch, and bbq. Only minus was on arrival, cabin floor was very dirty, had to be swept twice to avoid grit, and had a lot of white dog hair on the entry mat.

This is our third stay at Vernal/Dinosaurland KOA, it is the only place we camp in Vernal. It provides easy access to mountain biking, hiking, Red Fleet State Park, and of course Dinosaur National Monument. The staff is friendly and always helpful, the park is clean, and well kept. Offering a variety of sites, with varying space and privacy. Reserve early, it is a popular park.

Positive feedback because the unit was brand new. Needs cutting board, barbecue utensils, aluminum foil, and a broom. The price to stay each night is no different than an Extended Stay hotel so you need to have the proper supplies. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the fall. Thank you

Good showers & rest rooms, & our site was level. There were very friendly & helpful staff. Laundry room was medium sized w/ clean machines. Location is convenient drive to awesome petroglyphs and the Flaming Gorge.

The staff was great, super friendly. The lower rating is due to maintenance & appearance. The experience would be much more enjoyable with a fence or vegetation blocking the view of the permanent trailer park behind the KOA. Additionally, there are piles of leaves and branches that need to be cleaned up and look like they’ve been there quite a while.

It was nice and quiet. But those, like me, who reserve a spot online need to be aware that although the reservation identifies checking as 1PM, the office doesn’t open until 3PM - there was no information about our site assignment when we arrived at 1PM. I used the 1-800 # on our reservation and eventually obtained our site assignment, but it still required us to return from sightseeing by 6PM

We love staying at the KOA in Vernal. We always have the best time. The staff is friendly and helpful. We needed to have a couple of repairs and they were attended to quickly. It would be nice if the playground hours were adjusted to the increased daylight hours but the kids always have fun riding their bikes and playing frizbee in the field. It would be nice to have a dishrack in the large cabin.

Cabin lights on all night. Too many lights. Shower did not work in one. One bathroom had a leaky toilet. Picnic table was bad - broken seat.

We stayed 5 days at this KOA and the staff was friendly and fun to be around. They were helpful with various day trips to see this beautiful area. How could you ever complain when deer and turkeys were right behind our RV to watch each morning and early evenings. The off season hours of the store were slightly inconvenient as quite often we were gone when it was open.

Generally a great stay but, as with most KOA sites we have visited, intermittent wi-fi. The restroom door also failed to lock much to the shock of an American child 🤣 Great location to explore the surrounding area. We loved the Moon Arch which was only a few miles out of town. The shop has a fantastic set of about 20 walks that you can take of the surrounding area. Vernal itself was a nice town and we enjoyed our best, and cheapest, meal there at Betty's Cafe.

The site layout is pretty good with plenty of space. Only 2 complaints were the distance to the bathrooms and the back border of the campsite being a rusty Barbed Wire fence, wouldn't be too great for kids to get tangled up in.
