Traveling with my son and his family in 2 campers. Stayed here because of all the things for my granddaughter to do. Staff was very nice and very accommodating. Would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

very noisy because of the traffic on the highway. the pool was good. the showers need to be updated. the price seemed high

Great place! Kiddos had a blast. When the power went out in our site, we were so kindly moved to a new site, given firewood and free ice cream for our trouble. We so appreciated it!

Great stop for us. Just decided to break up our trip and found this awesome location. Got to visit the Dinosaur National Monument and touched real Dinosaur bones! Amazing things to do for our two boys.

Good stay and very nice employees! The amenities & basic cabins at this KOA are starting to show it's age though, other than that, perfect stay.

The Wi-Fi at the place was totally intermittent and never could stream anything. Couldn’t use satelite tv because of the trees were to thick and in the way.

Everything was great with exception to the pool. It would be nice if it was heated. My kids could only tolerate being in for 20 minutes before they wanted to come out.

Always a good place to stay, camp host is super friendly, pool is great for the kids, showers and bathrooms cleaned daily which is fantastic. We’ve stayed before and will continue to come back.

We stayed in a Rustic cabin for just one night and it was awesome! We would definitely come back and recommend to others.

The staff was absolutely wonderful, friendly and helpful. Enjoyed everything about this stay. We even decided to extend our vacation by a day because it was so nice.

this was our second year staying at the KOA in Vernal, we absolutely love the people and the grounds, the only thing i would like to see improved would be the grass at each RV spot, we stayed in site 15 and there is no grass which creates tons of dirt getting into our trailer. if grass is an issue maybe put down gravel. Thank you again for an awesome 7 day stay.

The first big vacation with our grandsons. Your entire staff was helpful, friendly and all around wonderful. We had so much fun we decided to extend our stay and your housekeeping staff was top notch to get us into a cabin from a 2 night stay in the Tipi. Thank you all so much. Loved telling the boys to always watch for the yellow KOA sign and think of our trip.

Last year the facilities were beautiful. A little run down this year. The office staff was not accommodating. We were three campers and they refused to try and place us together. There were many empty spaces around each of us. Our reservations were made in February and March. We love Koa but felt this staff did not represent KOA fully.

Quiet, peaceful, campground. Easy in and out, and nice, roomy, level sites. Petroglyphs within a short drive and the town has a good selection of restaurants. The campground is clean and well kept. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

Easy in/out with our 45ft coach and tow. Had an easy, level back in site towards the back of CG. Utilities all good. Didn’t use any amenities. Would stay again if in the area.

Great staff, the site was great, but the showers are small, few, and don't have hooks or shelves. Loved movie night and it was great being within 30min of the monument and near town

There was a lot to love! The cabin was cute and clean, the A/C and fridge were in good working condition, and the grill was lovely. We were disappointed there was no cookware (as promised on the website) and that the water heater was out of order, but it was still a nice experience. I recommend the staff update the website more often, but it was nice overall.

Had a nice site off the back loop with shade. Quick access to many sites around town yet quiet enough to relax. Kids had a blast with the pool, activities, and dino hunt.

It exceeded our expectations, it so well maintained, had fun activities and so much room for our tents and vehicles!! We would definitely recommend this KOA!!

We had a great time. The children loved the playground and pool. We would have liked to have had our two cabins next to each other. It was weird to have another family in-between us. Our RV space was also far away from our campsite. I think you could have done better at getting us in spaces close together. Other than that, the staff was kind and helpful and the campground was clean.

Noisy. Full of inconsiderate people that don’t observe unenforced quiet hours. Screaming children and barking dogs running rampant. Continuous road noise and city-stink as this “ campground” is in town. Campsite constantly “scanned” by flashlights and spotlights all night. Had to use noise cancelling headphones and keep rain fly closed just to sleep. Never, ever, ever again will I stay a

We where staying at Dutch John RV park Resort and in 6 yrs of full time RVing, I rated it horrible and so we left early to find KOA in VernalUT and stayed in a patio site with a bbq grill, patio furniture, fire pit with two rocking chairs. So nice! We are glad we came as the manager was so accommodating as well as the staff. I would recommend to others.

Great location, nice tent sites, but the bathrooms/showers were the worst I’ve seen at any KOA. Time for an upgrade of the bathroom facilities!

Generally a great stay but, as with most KOA sites we have visited, intermittent wi-fi. The restroom door also failed to lock much to the shock of an American child 🤣 Great location to explore the surrounding area. We loved the Moon Arch which was only a few miles out of town. The shop has a fantastic set of about 20 walks that you can take of the surrounding area. Vernal itself was a nice town and we enjoyed our best, and cheapest, meal there at Betty's Cafe.

The site layout is pretty good with plenty of space. Only 2 complaints were the distance to the bathrooms and the back border of the campsite being a rusty Barbed Wire fence, wouldn't be too great for kids to get tangled up in.
