Just one night, we arrived late and found our spots. The bathroom was clean. And in the morning we got to see several Deer in the field next door.

We had a great time. Service was outstanding, campsite and restrooms were very clean and functional.

The facility was clean and well kept. The campground grounds are beautiful with large shade trees everywhere. The family running the KOA were very nice and so accommodating and willing to help with any need. We will be returning to this KOA in the future.

It was nice having the extra space in the form of the concrete patio in between other campsites. The playground area and jumping pad were hot with the grand kids. Since we stayed during the off season, a lot of amenities were not available but looking forward to another stay.

Easy to get to, loved that the cabins were more tucked away but still close to the bathrooms. Clean cabin, enjoyed the coffee outside on cabin swing.

Absolutely beautiful here this time of year. We didn’t use any of the amenities around the park but everything looked to be in pretty good shape. If we are ever back in the area again we will stay here.

Dog poop and it's odor in several places around our camp site and those next to us.

This location is a KOA Holiday and a president's award winner for 2023, but it looked like deferred maintenance all around the camp. One washer was out of order; doors needed to be painted; bathrooms had towel dispensers replaced by air dryers (those are never my favorite) and the walls weren't repainted; and staff apologized about the porch on our cabin. This place was nothing special.

Nice campground but everything about it is dated. Long sites but gravel with timbers marking the sides. We had a super site. Neighbors still fairly close. Staff very friendly. Putt putt nice. If I am going to pay almost $100 per night, I expect it to be up to date.

Pros: This is a nice park with large spaces clean bathrooms and friendly staff. Cons: Shower stall doors are worthless, Latches don’t work and doors open while taking a shower, no privacy. Starting in late afternoon, there’s a parade of LOUD diesel trucks going in in and out, in and out from the very back of the campground. At 5 AM, the parade starts again. We had a nice stay and enjoyed our time, even playing mini golf and practicing our disc golf. Would have given a 5-star rating but the laundry room floor had not been swept nor washed for a long time, including the mouse droppings inside the door.

Only one exception to an otherwise very nice campground. The sites are in desperate need of fresh gravel and grading.

When we checked in I was told site 51. We had reserved one night. I ask if we could stay an extra night. Lady said yes but site 51 was booked second night so we would have to go to different site and it would be more. So she told us to go to site 14. We drove there, someone was in it so we went back to office. Told to go to 19. For the 2 days we were there no one was in 51 or that row.

The park is very convenient have a 45 ft class A with toad it was easily manageable.

We arrived after hours. Easy to find late check-in directions and open sites. Campground organized and clean. Bathrooms clean and bright. Paid at 8 am before we left. All was well. Gravel sites with some grass. The one we chose even had a concrete pad for the table.

Only disappointed in trying to make a direct reservation in Vernal. Called 3 times and got answering machine. Left my cell # but could not get reception in the mtns. Luckily I made it before the office closed. While registering 2 other calls came in and the clerk did not answer them either. I did not like this. Also $73 (#5) is a high price to pay for an overnight spot.

Outstanding customer service. Friendly staff. Candace and Bill were terrific. Site B13 is beautiful. Wild turkey, deer, quail, doves. Very enjoyable experience.

Lovely quiet site. We only marked the site down due to the intermittent wi-fi which, to be fair, was far better than several other KOA sites we stayed in.

Excellent staff who were friendly and thought of anything we might need before we even asked. The only downside was that the highway was very noisy at night with semi trucks using their Jake breaks at all hours and the mattresses were very uncomfortable in the woody tent we stayed in.

Generally a great stay but, as with most KOA sites we have visited, intermittent wi-fi. The restroom door also failed to lock much to the shock of an American child 🤣 Great location to explore the surrounding area. We loved the Moon Arch which was only a few miles out of town. The shop has a fantastic set of about 20 walks that you can take of the surrounding area. Vernal itself was a nice town and we enjoyed our best, and cheapest, meal there at Betty's Cafe.

The site layout is pretty good with plenty of space. Only 2 complaints were the distance to the bathrooms and the back border of the campsite being a rusty Barbed Wire fence, wouldn't be too great for kids to get tangled up in.
