Our stay was stupendous! Our fault we can't remember the names of the entire staff we encountered but "great" began with Carol! Alexis & Sarah, too! The store is filled with things you need & things you'll love. The site was fantastic. The grounds are gorgeous & well maintained. Can't say enough about the staff. And love the peacocks & hens!! One of our best CG's! Be back soon! Great location!

The staff was very friendly and we liked the daily activities. The kids loved the jumping pillow. We were there during the week, so unfortunately we didn't get to try the zipline/obstacle course, it would be nice if that was offered at least once during the week. We loved seeing the peacocks everywhere and the campground was clean. We will be back to try the zipline/obstacle course.

The campground itself is in a beautiful setting with nearby mountains and citrus groves. The grounds have lots of mature trees and of course the peacocks are a hit. However, the feeling there has changed over the years. Many of the activities are no longer working (mining, corn hole, rock climbing) or they aren’t offered even though listed on their promotional materials. The wifi does not work.

Beautiful campground with lots of fun activities for kids. Our daughter LOVED gem mining. Both kids loved the bounce pillow. Beautiful greenery. Only suggestion is to have more camp sinks for washing dishes.

The no music rule is ridiculous and would be the primary reason we wouldn’t stay here again. I understand not blasting the music and quiet hours which are good but no music at all ridiculous and takes me back to the movie footloose.

Nice & accommodating campground. Quite this time of year so not too many other campers, but the facilities were awesome. Kids enjoyed it.

I never write reviews but this campground was fabulous. The campground was beautiful...very woodsy. There were many activities available to do from ziplining to mining for gold. It's an all around great place to stay.

We have stayed here a few times and have not been disappointed. Compared to other KOA’s (we have stayed at many) This park seems a bit ‘less’ maintained & kept current. We do like the ‘woodsy’ feel though and the staff is always very friendly! Thank you!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The campground is located in a beautiful area. Terrible Internet service. It’s as if KOA missed the news that people rely on Internet for a whole bunch of needs. I have stayed at 5 KOA campgrounds in two weeks and three including this one have terrible Internet

Always a great spot to get away, only 90 minutes from home but feels like a different state... and the Peacocks are always a treat...

The park has gone down hill, the expense is not worth the stay. No improvements are being made, there is an obvious lack of maintenance. The county road through the middle of the park is to much with kids.

This was our seventh KOA site on our trip and by far the most disappointing. Couldn’t level our rig on the first site so luckily camp was quiet so were able to move to one that was better. Patio was dirty so we had hose it down before setting up. Bathrooms for Alder were old and filthy, weren’t cleaned on a daily basis. No running water at the dump station and the fresh water dispenser was bro

Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the grounds had scattered trash as we walked around and the park now has long term people living there full time. The full time people had their tv blasting distracting from the beauty of the area. This seems to be a trend of so many places and it would be nice to separate the areas.

The staff are amazing!!! When we pulled in the Friday night our hydraulic hose for our leveling jacks burst. The staff at the registration office gave me several Mobile RV co.in particular Scotty gave me 2 recommendations in particular . We were also moved to a more level sight. They went above&beyond. The camp itself has the most friendly peacocks and walking trails. We would stay again

The restrooms toilets and sinks were somewhat clean. However, the floors, walls, ceilings, lights, etc have obviously been neglected. Tons of spider webs and dirty. Very uncomfortable.

Family and I have stayed here numerous times. stayed in the Teepees, tent camped and have taken the trailer on different occasions. My kids love it. Pool is awesome in the summer. Jump pillow is a blast for kids. Big foot trail and creek are fun for exploring. Bike track and swing set is fun for the little ones. Pet friendly. Great place with good vibes. Highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights. The 30AMP power connection tripped the first day & the 50AMP tripped the second, leaving us without shore power for most of our stay. The staff cleaning the restrooms don't seem to mind dust, spiders nor their webs. Had a spider come out of the faucet in the restroom. There are plenty of kids running all over the place. Very friendly staff/management. This was our first stay at this KOA so we weren't sure what to expect. The grounds were well kept and clean. Plenty of activities for all ages. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back again.

El sitio esta bien ubicado pero le falta mucho mantenimiento en las areas verdes, se ve mucha maleza y basura. Cerca de donde estabamos nosotros habia un camper grande y la gente es residente ahi, de esa parte salia olor de acueducto y muchas moscas. Los empleados son amables y los banos limpios. A los encargados por favor revisar las areas para q tengan un sitio mejor.

This campground is is steep decline. It shouldn't have the KOA stamp of approval. The owner wants to sell for top dollar and has not invested in repair and maintenace of the grounds. The cabins have been infested with ants for 5 years. This year my 5th wheel became infested. We camp with a group of people and this year we agreed to look for another KOA.

The nagging of no music was pretty ridiculous at 7 pm on a Saturday evening. We are a family celebrating Halloween with small children. Only playing low volume Disney music. Was very unrealistic and annoying to have people who live there complaining also. Too strict for a holiday and we are very respectful with the choice of music, volume, and quiet hours. Will not stay here on a holiday again.

We have camped at the KOA during the Halloween festivities for many years and I think this year was the best! They had a Halloween Carnival with games and prizes which my grandchildren loved, I hope they do it every year from now on. We love our KOA and camp there often but Halloween is our favorite, already booked for next year!

We come to Ventura KOA often and it’s always a treat! We love the staff, the different activities, hiking by the creek, and the pool. The scenery is also beautiful. One of our favorite getaways!

This was our second visit to this RV campground. The place is so relaxing and peaceful. There are cool peacocks roaming, the staff is incredibly nice and friendly and the store/ office is open late if you need something.
