We had a shaded spot and it was absolutely perfect. During the night time, the restroom lights were not on which it was a bit inconvenient but our headlights solved that issue.

There was loud, amplified music played into the night, and there was no enforcement of the quiet hours. The activities sounded fun, but they were closed the entire time we were there.

My family of 4 stayed in a cabin with a full bath (more like glamping!); it was perfect for us! We enjoyed bbqing on our patio with the gas grill, roasting marshmallows over our fire pit, all the free amenities, jumping pillow, rock labyrinth, pool, nature walk, we also paid for the tie dye shirt craft; perfect souvenirs! And we took advantage of the store to refill our coolers & grab more fire.

Elect., water worked OK, No septic. Lots of micro trash everywhere. People with trailers parked extending into lane causing accidents. Busy on weekends slow weekdays. We would call this a place for kids with all the amazing playground. RC cars were obnoxious and destructive to grounds. Overall good but not the best peace on weekends for older folk.

Stayed in a cabin which was fairly new, beds were comfortable, however they can do a better job with cleaning. There spiderwebs everywhere on the inside and outside on the steps, handles, walls! No steps to the patio which made it almost inaccessible. The loft stairs are very narrow and dangerous, not suitable for older and large adults, or small children. Overall a fun place to stay!

Janelle and Ryan are the best!!!! Due to the drought it’s sad to see all the brown! Ventura Ranch KOA is my home away from home, and I recommend it all the time!!

Friendly and easy check-in at the KOA office. Wide and roomy full hook-up site. KOA store well stocked. After we got hooked-up at our site, we went to the pool for a swim. Pool was filthy, so we 'passed'. No hot tub, which would have been nice, after a long drive to get to this KOA. Our nightly rate was exceptionally high. Camped in the dirt. Ugh!

The Staff was all very nice and accommodating. The owner however, is a total terror. Way overpriced. My site was a terribly unlevel patch of dry dirt. Trash constantly rolled downhill into my site, and it turned into a clay like mud puddle every time it rained. no cable, terrible internet service, no hook ups, no laundry on site, pool was unkempt and hardly open, dumpster constantly overflowing.

The hot water in the shower would get cold for a period of time then return to warm while you were trying to shower. We have been visiting this site for a few years now. The inside of our cabin could use a little care such as paint. The walls looked worn and slightly dirty. On a positive note, the cabin was clean and the staff was so very kind and helpful. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and pla.

We were disappointed. Our campsites had a lot of trash in them. The restrooms were dirty, toilet paper not placed in dispensers, paper towels ran out. Also, the lights didn't work in the restroom on Saturday night. Trash in the creek too! We like how's it's been rebuilt/improved since the fire. But it was disappointing that it was not as clean/nice as it was the last time we were there.

Love this place….So many activities to do. A wonderful pool, panning for rocks,( my granddaughters LOVED all the beautiful crystals) we even got to tie dye shirts…but most of all the staff always goes above and beyond.

Nice getaway to escape the heat of San Fernando Valley. Great spot for kids, lots to do on weekends. Wonderful staff.

I stayed here for about three weeks while I was getting settled into the area, all staff are super friendly and accommodating, I highly recommend the soar over Ventura ropes course/zipline, If you are staying longer than five days and are staying in the electric and water only no sewer they will come pump your tanks for you so don’t feel obligated to get the full hook ups, enjoy!

We were in a very pretty campsite that was peaceful and quiet. Checkin was quick and easy and the campground amenities were well-maintained.

Our group really enjoyed the two days we spent at KOA Ventura Ranch and would definitely come again. Only suggestion we had was for the rope course. Our daughters both did it and it was very challenging. I think if one of the workers was up on the course with them giving encouragement and tips, it might have made it a little easier for them. But overall they both enjoyed it!

We enjoyed our stay in deluxe cabin 9. When we checked in the young lady who checked us in ( didn’t get name) talked extremely fast and so I just figured out stuff on my own ( took a while to find our cabin). We were disappointed that the adventure zip line had such short hours and that you had to register ahead of time. It would have been nice if that had been pointed out to us when we checked

It was my first time at this KOA and I really enjoyed my visit, the staff was very helpful, the grounds were well kept and the children really enjoyed the activities, we will be going back soon

We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Two concerns we had were 1. Approaching our evening birthday party and inquired about vehicles which all were registered and legal. 2. I feel that a 9:00pm quiet time is one hour earlier than most facilities on a Saturday.

The ants are overwhelming and made for a miserable stay. This is not the first time we have fought ants during our stay here. Just a heads up if you decide to stay. Bring something to help protect your rig.

Like many of the KOA sites, the technology infrastructure is lacking and the physical/public areas are in need of paint, cleaning and general upkeep……our choice of KOA are becoming a ‘last resort’ of choice unfortunately.

Our stay was stupendous! We can't remember the names of the entire staff we encountered but "great" began with Carol! Alexis & Sarah, too! The store is filled with things you need & things you'll love. The site was fantastic. The grounds are gorgeous & well maintained. Can't say enough about the staff. And love the peacocks & hens!! One of our best CG's! Be back soon! Great location close to Ventura Harbor, Ojai & downtown Santa Paula.!

This was our second visit to this RV campground. The place is so relaxing and peaceful. There are cool peacocks roaming, the staff is incredibly nice and friendly and the store/ office is open late if you need something.
