We had a quiet and comfy stay at KOA Ventura Ranch. The facilities may use a facelift but Alexi from reception more than made up for it by ensuring we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. WiFi is in need of an upgrade as well! Our son loved seeing peacocks all around.

Very nice site and friendly staff! Please be advised that there is a large flock of peacocks that also live in this KOA and they scream “help” all day long and into the night…

Beautiful place to stay! The scenery is gorgeous. The activities for my kids to see and do were more than what most RV parks provide. The staff were very friendly. We are coming back in a few months and we can't wait!

The space was great, and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The Adventure Trail and Eagle's Nest Course were great, and the grounds were well-kept.

I got a cabin with half a bath no kitchen, but there was no hot water and on the fire pit didn’t have a wood table. They send someone to fixed the problem with the hot water but didn’t fixed the problem and the wood table that I asked for never happened.. other than that it was good

Beautiful and peaceful! From check in to departure, I felt welcomed and important. Site was a great size and the patio was a lovely asset to have available. Spot 12, though great, does get a lot of road noise and DUST being right on the county road; large trucks going back and forth starting at 0630 on a Saturday seemed strange. Grounds are in nice repair for sure.

No internet access, no cable an the pool an other facilities were not in working order..... Gravel trucks going through starting at 7:am Yet still charging premium prices ..... Beautiful spot to bad wasn't up to par

Staff was excellent!!! They were incredibly friendly, helpful and hard working. Love the local wildlife, the Peacocks and kitties are so fun! Will definitely be back again!

We were traveling through Ventura and decided to stay 3 nights. Our site had water & electric and a wonderful view of the mountains. A few sites have full hookups, however, if you need sewer there is one near the office. The ranch has a lot of peacocks around in the wild. Our stay was stupendous! Our fault we can't remember the names of the entire staff we encountered but "great" began with Carol! Alexis & Sarah, too! The store is filled with things you need & things you'll love. The site was fantastic. The grounds are gorgeous & well maintained. Can't say enough about the staff. And love the peacocks & hens!! One of our best CG's! Be back soon! Great location!

The staff was very friendly and we liked the daily activities. The kids loved the jumping pillow. We were there during the week, so unfortunately we didn't get to try the zipline/obstacle course, it would be nice if that was offered at least once during the week. We loved seeing the peacocks everywhere and the campground was clean. We will be back to try the zipline/obstacle course.

The campground itself is in a beautiful setting with nearby mountains and citrus groves. The grounds have lots of mature trees and of course the peacocks are a hit. However, the feeling there has changed over the years. Many of the activities are no longer working (mining, corn hole, rock climbing) or they aren’t offered even though listed on their promotional materials. The wifi does not work.

Beautiful campground with lots of fun activities for kids. Our daughter LOVED gem mining. Both kids loved the bounce pillow. Beautiful greenery. Only suggestion is to have more camp sinks for washing dishes.

The no music rule is ridiculous and would be the primary reason we wouldn’t stay here again. I understand not blasting the music and quiet hours which are good but no music at all ridiculous and takes me back to the movie footloose.

My stay was pleasant. The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I was however hoping that the pool and jacuzzi would be heated to go in. I also didn't like that the zip line is only done on Weekends. I would recommend putting up more decorative light where the trampoline are is since kids do play there and it gets very early in the day during winter.

I would rate this KOA in Santa Paula CA. 3 stars. I wouldn’t recommend this to friend. Security was rude and has no people skills.

Nice & accommodating campground. Quite this time of year so not too many other campers, but the facilities were awesome. Kids enjoyed it.

I never write reviews but this campground was fabulous. The campground was beautiful...very woodsy. There were many activities available to do from ziplining to mining for gold. It's an all around great place to stay.

We have stayed here a few times and have not been disappointed. Compared to other KOA’s (we have stayed at many) This park seems a bit ‘less’ maintained & kept current. We do like the ‘woodsy’ feel though and the staff is always very friendly! Thank you!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The campground is located in a beautiful area. Terrible Internet service. It’s as if KOA missed the news that people rely on Internet for a whole bunch of needs. I have stayed at 5 KOA campgrounds in two weeks and three including this one have terrible Internet

Always a great spot to get away, only 90 minutes from home but feels like a different state... and the Peacocks are always a treat...

The park has gone down hill, the expense is not worth the stay. No improvements are being made, there is an obvious lack of maintenance. The county road through the middle of the park is to much with kids.

This was our seventh KOA site on our trip and by far the most disappointing. Couldn’t level our rig on the first site so luckily camp was quiet so were able to move to one that was better. Patio was dirty so we had hose it down before setting up. Bathrooms for Alder were old and filthy, weren’t cleaned on a daily basis. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the grounds had scattered trash as we walked around and the park now has long term people living there full time. The full time people had their tv blasting distracting from the beauty of the area. This seems to be a trend of so many places and it would be nice to separate the areas.

The staff are amazing!!! When we pulled in the Friday night our hydraulic hose for our leveling jacks burst. The staff at the registration office gave me several Mobile RV co.in particular Scotty gave me 2 recommendations in particular . We were also moved to a more level sight. They went above&beyond. The camp itself has the most friendly peacocks and walking trails. We would stay again

This was our second visit to this RV campground. The place is so relaxing and peaceful. There are cool peacocks roaming, the staff is incredibly nice and friendly and the store/ office is open late if you need something.
