We had a nice relaxing Mother’s Day 5 day stay in our favorite spot. The only negative was struggling with the showers at the Clubhouse trying to adjust the temp with my arthritic hands. Couldn’t adjust one shower at all so I moved to another. Was able to adjust that one with great difficulty.

Was pleasantly surprised with this KOA. They had lots of activities for the kids and they weren't on their devices once. Just wish there was a little more shade in camp site 1. All in all we all had a great time and we will definitely be back.

Pine 14 is not a straight back in with the rocks in the way I damaged the side of my truck on the rocks. I feel this space is not 90 foot long my truck and trailer 65 feet long and was a pain to back in to this space. The parking for the cabin above space 14 blocked in our truck. We loved the space once we were set up. We had a great time here! Will be back soon!

I am not returning due to my experience. The hot water for the shower did not work. I understood that it takes time to heat but there is something else wrong. I had hot water for 30 seconds then it went cold. I told the front office after my first night there and was told that it had been fixed. However, the same thing happened the next time. I told the front desk again on checkout.

Campground had various construction materials laying around which was not ideal. It felt like we were camping next to a construction zone. The bathrooms and showers could be better maintained since they were often very dirty, clogged or broken. There should also be at least one water spigot between 2 or 3 campgrounds. Spigot too far.

My partner fell from RV. KOA management stayed late to guide ambulance to our site. KOA employee provided transportation for me to hospital and offered to come and retrieve us. Thank you.

This was our second time staying at this KOA. The staff was great and very friendly. This KOA is in a beautiful location. We love walking our dog! We were disappointed at the amount of litter throughout the entire location. Women’s shower was OK. In the women’s bathroom there were dead bugs in the sinks for four days. It didn’t look like the bathroom was checked on during our stay.

We have stayed at 26 other KOAs. This one is one of the most peaceful while still offering everything we love about camping and KOAs. We have some recommendations: open the pool before Memorial Day if weather permits, put in a Gaga pit between the playground and the rock climbing area, and offer a night activity like a movie night or flash light lolly pop hunt.

The Ventura Ranch KOA was very nice and had a lot of amenities and options for families with children. The peacocks are beautiful but a bit noisy, you get used to them after a while. It was a nice visit.

this is a great place close to los angles.... lots of things to do for kids and plenty of areas to explore and walk dogs. peacocks were awesome. .... some sites very not level in the rv section and pretty close together. i only went in one bathroom and had looked like something in a public park. overall a good place and i would go again but it could use some updating.

Roads were hilly but sites were level. Peacocks were entertaining but a little noisy at night.

A lovely campground with lots of amenities. Sites were nice size and patio space we had was delightful. Hike uphill to bathrooms. A bit of cleanup around dumpsters would be nice.

Always enjoy Ventura Ranch KOA. Stay was relaxing and quiet.The peacocks very entertaining. Fellow campers were friendly and the staff was great.

Le personnel est accueillant et serviable. Le site est enchanteur et beaucoup de végétation, mais les installation sont laissé à l'abandon. Après une nuit pluvieuse, beaucoup de vase sur mon terrain. Difficile d'ajuster l'eau chaude dans les douches, système à revoir.

So beautiful and enjoyable. The bathrooms were not in great shape, however. They were only cleaned once while we stayed and poorly cleaned with bugs just wiped around, and only one shower had hot water. For the high level of your other amenities, the bathrooms were surprisingly subpar.

Campground is NOT as clean as it used to be. The cost to stay, for one or two nights is extreme, well over $120.00 per night. Another campground using Covin as an excuse to overcharge. Campgrounds are just NOT worth the price.

Campsites in rear had construction debris scattered around. Staff helpful when we asked to move. Both bathroom and shower rooms were dirty and chose not to shower. Campsite 6 was dirty; no staff picked up debris left by other campers. Campsite was pricey based on conditions of campground.

I didnt realize the teepees would be so outdated inside and mattresses so old, it was also stuffy in there. Public restrooms were also not cleaned well and had a bad smell.

Our patio had just a picnic table; the patio side in Alder loop had table and chairs. Although there was a path to the restroom between A26 & A27, it was not marked and as a result other campers used our patio as a way to get to the restrooms. The peacocks were beautiful but noisy. Setting was very pretty and staff was very friendly and helpful.

Being in California, I felt pool should have been open. Also they have cool activities but limited time frames. Rock wall is only open one day for one hour. Staff was very polite and were quick to fix issues within their abilities.

Lots of fun things for kids at a price. Cigarette butts in showers and bathroom sinks. Tankless water heater for showers great idea but many did not know how to turn on or set temperature, either too cold or scalding. Tire stop at end of slot falling down hill. Slots were very tight. NO LAUNDRY. Shocking

The place is Ok, but the site we got had no tree coverage. Hard on the kids when they hang on site. The proximity to the neighbors was ridiculous. They would walk through our site to dump their garbage. Not the problem of Koa, I know, but little natural border between sites. Personnel were incredibly friendly and kind.

This is truly a campground, like the ones I used to camp with my family when I was a kid. It has every type of campsite you could imagine. And the Peacocks! The office staff couldn't be nicer. The maintenance crew keeps the place looking beautiful. It's a great day at the Ventura Ranch Holiday KOA!

Our safari tent walls were moldy and pullout bed mattress was dirty. Lot of bugs in bathroom area. Freaked out my 12 year old. Peacock population was overwhelming and loud.

This is absolutely our favorite KOA. It is clean, vibrant with flowers, an absence of trees, beautiful birds, and the nice easy hiking trails along the awesome flowing creek. The sites are large and the campground feels extremely safe and peaceful.

Our stay was stupendous! We can't remember the names of the entire staff we encountered but "great" began with Carol! Alexis & Sarah, too! The store is filled with things you need & things you'll love. The site was fantastic. The grounds are gorgeous & well maintained. Can't say enough about the staff. And love the peacocks & hens!! One of our best CG's! Be back soon! Great location close to Ventura Harbor, Ojai & downtown Santa Paula.!

This was our second visit to this RV campground. The place is so relaxing and peaceful. There are cool peacocks roaming, the staff is incredibly nice and friendly and the store/ office is open late if you need something.
