My 4 year old was asleep in the tent next to our tear drop trailer when a woman in a golf cart came over with a flashlight shining it inside the tent. It was 10pm. Not only was it scary, but also completely inappropriate to do at 10pm. She said that it was stated on the website when we booked but we reviewed all info and there was NO mention of tents not being allowed. This should not have happen

When we arrived, we were given a site all the way at the bottom of the campground and had to drive through low hanging trees that scraped the roof and top of our RV. We went back to the office and ask for a closer site. They changed our site for an extra fee. Campground looked very run down, bathrooms filthy, lots of people living full time there, and very loud wild peacocks all over.

Loved all of the activities. Particularly the adventure course. But cleaning needs work. The bathroom in the Oaks wasn’t cleaned during our stay. And there were piles of litter left adjacent to our “premium” campsite.

Bathrooms need more attention. Don't think anyone cleaned them while I stayed. Same stains were on sink/toilets and shower trash never cleaned out. So I know no one every cleaned them.

teepee's were nice Campround was dirty. Trash everywhere Teepees leaked from the top and the sides. With rain in the forecast there was no instructions from staff about how to minimize getting wet. front flap had no good closure system. The ties could only really be tied them from the outside. Flap stayed open or you had to tie it from the outside and contort yourself and squeeze in

What a fun place! We loved all the peacocks and the spots were great - We wish we had a spot with sewer hookups and it was a tad tight for our huge trailer... but over all it was fantastic and it's a beautiful area! Thank you!

Disappointed that the children activities are only on Saturday and the rock climbing was only one hour with hundreds of kids waiting. Pool was so cold even my grandchildren couldn’t stay in for long. The labyrinth was amazing. Employees were wonderful. Loved that play area was centrally located. Beautiful clean campground.

Love the amenities; creek, zip line, bike path, goldmine, moon bounce. For a second thought I’d like the pool heated, but that would make it to full with Adults! Having a movie night, or Big Foot night walk would be cool as well

WE stayed in the covered wagons and have a few suggestions that would improve them greatly and not cost you very much at all. Add about 4 handing hooks per wagon (you could attach them to the support beams that hold up the wagon canvas). Put a garbage can in each one as well. Our biggest complaint was that the pool bathrooms and showers were not the nicest. The showers had mold on the wood

We loved the cabins, all the things you can sign up to do with kids. It's easy to play at the creek. People are nice.

Rest rooms poorly placed from all sites. At least three flights of stairs and long walk first. Shower’s unavailable in some. No on site laundry facilities. We were parked under a dead tree and a massive bee hive on the tree in front. Every thing was on a massive hill so you need bikes, golf carts, or car to get around. We are handicapped so walking was out. How is rated high in its poor conditio

We had an awesome time! There is so much to do and see. The property was beautiful and well maintained. Loved every minute, just wish we could have stayed longer!

Everything was great, but next time I’ll make sure to ask for a cabin with closer parking. My 13 y/o is already asking to go back…. We’ll be back soon!

The glamping tents have taken the tent sites near the pool. We stayed in the Oaks which doesn't have wifi. Could you please set up wifi for the Oaks? It's also farther from the main activities area.

We absolutely loved it, very clean, quaint and peaceful. Staff was very friendly. Made a few new friends and will definitely be returning with friends and family.

Went this past weekend June 2-4th. Great area, tent campsites are really nice, clean, and lots of trees. Staff is very nice and helpful. Restrooms and showers were always clean. The only downside was the pool was ice cold.

Had a great stay! The staff at registration went above and beyond. The teepees were wonderful. Kids had so much fun on the jumping balloon and pool. I told all my friends at work about Ventura Ranch KOA.

For years, our families have visited your campground on Memorial Day weekend. Each trip has been memorable, and we could not be happier with the amenities and customer service your staff provides. They happily answer our questions and provide excellent customer service to others. This year, we had the pleasure of meeting Doug. He is a professional and courteous employee who deserves recognition.

We stayed last year and again this year for 4 nights. Our sight and the staff were amazing. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of.

This Koa was amazing it’s very child and pet friendly but if you don’t have either it is also a peaceful sanctuary. Staff is friendly, thank you Ryan and the bathrooms and showers remained clean throughout the day and night. Thank you Ventura Ranch we will be returning.

The bathroom door needs some adjustment had to slam it to get it to close.Would get a bigger cabin next time.Meet family here for the 2nd time everyone likes the location and not a long drive. Will probably choose this location again.

Our stay was stupendous! We can't remember the names of the entire staff we encountered but "great" began with Carol! Alexis & Sarah, too! The store is filled with things you need & things you'll love. The site was fantastic. The grounds are gorgeous & well maintained. Can't say enough about the staff. And love the peacocks & hens!! One of our best CG's! Be back soon! Great location close to Ventura Harbor, Ojai & downtown Santa Paula.!

This was our second visit to this RV campground. The place is so relaxing and peaceful. There are cool peacocks roaming, the staff is incredibly nice and friendly and the store/ office is open late if you need something.
