We have a full line-up of fun planned for KOA Care Camps Big Weekendand Mother's Day including music, crafts, movies, raffle, food and fun. Throughout the weekend, we'll have special events to raise funds for Care Camps, including an ice cream social and pancake breakfast.

Your stay will make a difference in the lives of children with cancer, by helping raise funds for medically supervised Care Camps across North America. These camps give kids with cancer a chance to attend a summer camp and just be a kid again. Funds raised from the Saturday, May 11 campground donation support the KOA Care Camps Trust, which distributes more than $1 million annually to support 125+ Care Camps. Along with the usual fun of our pool, banana bikes, playground, and gem mine, we will have even more fun planned for you.You bring your red, white and blue and we'll bring the fun! Reminder that fireworks and firecrackers are not permitted in the campground.

Santa Claus is vacationing in Tucson this summer and agreed to stop by the Tucson / Lazydays KOA Resort this July. We're expecting to have holly, jolly and merry good time! Join us for all sorts of Christmasy fun, including Cookie Decorating, Frozen Hot Chocolate, Christmas Movies, Holiday Ceramics, a Christmas Parade and more! Be sure to join us this fall for our Thanksgiving Potluck at the Tucson/Lazydays KOA Resort. For Thanksgiving Day, we will be hosting dinner potluck style so bring your favorite holiday recipes along as we will provide the turkey, desserts, drinks and wine and you bring the side dishes!  Make sure to sign-up at the front office. A Western Experience runs yearly from January to May and will return in January 2024. The Pima County Fair is one of Southern Arizona's largest and most anticipated annual events with nearly 250,000 visitors over a 10 day period One of the most affordable events that promises and delivers fun at a reasonable price! Spend the day with family and friends enjoying animals, attractions, motorized events, carnival rides, concerts and entertainment sure to appeal!

Agave Heritage Festival began in 2008 as Agave Fest, a Cinco de Mayo celebration featuring tequila tastings and a tequila “Iron Bar Chef” competition at the historic Hotel Congress. As the festival grew in the following years, the number of different agave spirits featured at the event more than doubled, and food specials were elevated from cheap eats to regionally focused culinary treats. Today, Agave Heritage Festival is a city-wide, destination event that spotlights the southwest region through the lens of the agave plant. Agave Heritage Festival celebrates the unique importance of the agave plant and the borderlands culture with seminars, trade shows, and world-class culinary events.

The La Encantada Fine Art Festival series has grown to become one of the most juried fine art festivals in Southern Arizona. Spread across three distinct weekends annually, the festival thoughtfully selects a mix of emerging and established artists, showcasing talents in sculpting, jewelry, painting, and mixed media. Due to limited exhibit space, each event spotlights a rotating ensemble of fine artisans. What's more, this enriching experience is open to the public at no cost, providing an opportunity for everyone to enjoy and appreciate the diverse artistic expressions on display.

As fans know, a mariachi band should be seen and heard live to be fully appreciated!  Tucson's mariachi conference includes a music festival with three public concerts that cap a week of rigorous student workshops led by masters of mariachi music and folkloric dance. You can experience this exuberant symbol of Mexican culture in Tucson, a mariachi hub of the United States, every April.

Rated once by Fodor's Travel as one of the top-10 wine festivals in North America, the Willcox Wine Country Festival is a celebration at the historic Railroad Park in rural Willcox. The festival, presented by Cochise Graham Wine Council, featuring 16 of Arizona's best wineries along with over 30 non-winery vendors including fine arts, artisan foods, vintage vendors, and non-stop entertainment along with 2 food trucks. The Festival begins Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continues Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

On Saturdays and Sundays in July and August, check out the Sweet Corn Extravaganza at Apple Annie's produce farm, and discover sweet corn picked at the peak of the season - a treat you won't want to miss. Many other vegetables will be available for you to pick. Enjoy hot roasted sweet corn and a great day of family fun on the farm at Apple Annie's Produce & Pumpkins, in Willcox.

The Sonoran Desert and the Sky Island mountains come alive during the summer monsoon rains. The Southeast Arizona Birding Festival offers expert-guided birding, wildlife, and cultural field trips, photography and bird-ID workshops, free nature presentations, vendors, and activities. You will get a chance to see birds you can find nowhere else in the United States, including rare hummingbirds, and discover why Southeastern Arizona is consistently recognized as one of America's foremost birding destinations. This festival was founded in 1949, and is presented by Tucson Audubon Society.

National Parks are one of America's best ideas, and there are more than 400 parks available to everyone, every day. On National Public Lands Day, enjoy free admission to our national parks. In the Tucson area, you can enjoy Saguaro National Park's two districts (Eastside - Rincon Mountain District, and Westside - Tucson Mountain District), Tumacacori National Historical Park, and Casa Grande Ruins National Monument. Have fun and enjoy the health benefits of being outdoors.
