Everything was great! I wish there was an option for pets in the cabins, even for an extra charge. Our dogs are very well behaved and would have enjoyed themselves. No pets in cabins would be the only reason we may not come back.

The campground and cabins far exceeded our expectations. The campground was very clean and well taken care of. We look forward to coming back again!

Very nice campground. We enjoyed staying in a deluxe cabin. only suggestion to remind/instruct guests to bring a bath mat. We brought towels, but forgot a towel or mat to step out of the shower on. One of the solar bulbs in the outside lantern was burned out or not functioning. Overall, we will definitely stay again in the future.

Everyone we met from check in, to getting wood, to people in their golf carts, to housekeepers were warm and welcoming. We were impressed with the cleanliness and loved being taken to our cabin. Anything in the cabin I wished you had like hooks by the main bed or by the bunks were already there. Thanks for a great stay!

We always have a very nice stay. The staff is always super friendly and there for your needs. We have stayed at the Buckley K.O.A. for many years and we will continue to return there because of that. It is a kid/adult friendly campground with lots of fun things to do along with some great amenities.

Had fun swimming, golfing, and having a campfire. We walked around the loop and talked to neighbors. Made s’mores. It reminded me of being in the Upper Peninsula when we had a thunderstorm and the power and water couldn’t be used. We checked out area restaurants and scenic places of interest.

Very clean and well organized campground. Rustic cabins need deeper cleaning/dusting behind the beds/furniture…lots of old spider webs � otherwise very clean overall, clean bathrooms/showers and great staff. Appreciate the light was left on for us when we arrived late at our cabin! �

Love the new mattresses in the cabins! We stayed two years ago and I was pregnant and they were so hard I had to use extra blankets and towels, anything I had to add extra cushion so I wasn’t on the hard wood. This time though I was SO happy to see a new pad to lay on. It was so much better!

We were booked at another campground and it was terrible when we got there. We called Traverse City KOA in the slim possibility that they would have a cabin for us on the 4th July weekend. They had one deluxe cabin left. I would like to make a shout out to Kathy for all her help. The KOA had so much for my grandson to do. It was very clean. Would highly recomend this KOA.

We had an excellent stay in a deluxe cabin. It was such a nice surprise to find amenities like a gas grill ready to cook on our patio. We loved the air conditioned option and will definitely stay at Traverse City KOA again. There were a few cobwebs in the cabin, but overall it was a very clean, comfortable experience close to areas we wanted to visit and with a ton of entertainment options.

Bathrooms were clean and staff members were polite and helpful. My only complaint is the price for our cabin. I understand it was a holiday weekend (July 4th), but for a cabin with no bathroom $500+ is not a family-friendly price in today's economic climate. Families with more than two (2) children should not be subject to additional fees per child per day.

We had a fantastic time! The cabin was amazing and I loved having a bathroom inside the cabin with us. Everything was clean and they had plenty of supplies inside the cabin. The general store was great and had a lot of amazing and useful items. They had arts & crafts daily for the kids and the park and pool were all well maintained and clean. Fantastic trip and can't wait to go back!

First visit and had a great time. Stayed mid week and it was very quiet. Tons of kid friendly activities, nice pool, friendly staff. Would stay again.

The owner is VERY accommodating! I had a boat and wasn't able to park it at the first cabin assigned so she moved me to other ones that worked much better. My only gripe is the distance to the bathroom from some of the rustic cabins. Maybe a port-a-jon back there would be nice for the cabins and tents.

Great campground for people of all ages. Clean bathrooms, small store. Lots of play area for kids. Nice pool area. Friendly owners and employees. Full hookups with some cement patos. Short drive to Traverse City area. Will camp here again and bring grandkids. Have nice cabins to stay in, also.
