A great place to stay with kids - Lots to do! Also had an amazing site! The garbage pick up service was amazing and the workers riding around in their golf carts helped us feel safe! Thank you!!

Really pleasant. Nice sized spaces. Beautiful grassy area, trees, patios with fire rings and comfortable furniture. Wood definitely stay again :)

Friendly clean safe quiet. We loved it , not far from some of our new favorite destinations Torch Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City was lovely too! Will come back again on a weekend get away!

Friendliest staff we have ever run into. After over 40 years of camping, we have yet to see a campground better maintained than this one. Can't wait for the opportunity to go back.

We left a day early with the understanding that we would have to pay for the extra day and we were okay with that. It took two days after that to get our KOA card released so we could get our discount at the next KOA. Took many text messages, calls and a call to corporate to finally get the it straightened out. Big thanks to Mackinaw City KOA for all the time they put in trying to help.

This campground is really large but is easy to navigate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The campground is well-maintained as evidence my staff presence all day long checking on sites, picking up any trash, limbs, etc. Bathhouse is well maintained.

Great clean site. Enjoy the atmosphere. Hook ups are eady and maintained. Visitors leaving by 8 pm is too soon. Most places it is 10. Adults sitting around campfire catching up. Just chatting. It’s the best part of camping. Friendly staff.

Absolutely great! We are so happy with our stay at your facility. It is very well maintained, very clean surroundings, the trees are very well situated that they bring so much shade and breeze when the wind blows. We applaud you for hiring young students who want to work and train them very well with good work ethics, handling responsibility and take pride in their work. We’ll be back for sure!

The staff was amazing. From delivery of firewood to garbage pickup. The kids had a blast on the playground, gaga pit, pool,and jumping pillows. Can't wait to come back.

We were booked at another campground and it was terrible when we got there. We called Traverse City KOA in the slim possibility that they would have a cabin for us on the 4th July weekend. They had one deluxe cabin left. I would like to make a shout out to Kathy for all her help. The KOA had so much for my grandson to do. It was very clean. Would highly recomend this KOA.

Employees very friendly and helpful! They do need to ask that lights outside of camping units should be turned off at a reasonable time…not everyone enjoys LED lights in their eyes all night long!

We were so impressed with this quality KOA campground, because it was clean and very well maintained in the toilet/shower rooms and grounds. They have a sign in the bathrooms that says they maintain constantly, even a phone number to call if problems at night.The playground for kids was huge and awesome. Very impressed. Thank you.

We had an excellent stay in a deluxe cabin. It was such a nice surprise to find amenities like a gas grill ready to cook on our patio. We loved the air conditioned option and will definitely stay at Traverse City KOA again. There were a few cobwebs in the cabin, but overall it was a very clean, comfortable experience close to areas we wanted to visit and with a ton of entertainment options.

Bathrooms were clean and staff members were polite and helpful. My only complaint is the price for our cabin. I understand it was a holiday weekend (July 4th), but for a cabin with no bathroom $500+ is not a family-friendly price in today's economic climate. Families with more than two (2) children should not be subject to additional fees per child per day.

Tented. Site was large enough for my boat and vehicle. Nice sandy pad for tent. Perfect tent site. Bathrooms very satisfactory. Appreciated the electronic check in. I did experience a backup coming back into camp one day and almost ended up sitting on M-37. Might need to ensure vehicles with campers checking in have room to get off highway and maybe a quick bypass for already registered guests.

Great campground for people of all ages. Clean bathrooms, small store. Lots of play area for kids. Nice pool area. Friendly owners and employees. Full hookups with some cement patos. Short drive to Traverse City area. Will camp here again and bring grandkids. Have nice cabins to stay in, also.
