The facilities were very clean. Our campsite was clean when we arrived. Dan was very helpful with getting us backed into our site. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

Clean campground and facilities. Staff was super nice and helpful. Sites were a little close. The riverside sites were nice; however, it was a bit noisy on the river. There was a group of people who partied LOUDLY in lawn chairs IN the river from noon til 8 pm every day we were there. They were not campers at KOA and KOA likely had no control of that. Couldn't enjoy babbling river due to partying.

Our first stay here and it was at a very vulnerable time… my husband’s father passed away the night prior and we came camping to get away until his funeral arrangements took place… this campground gave us peace and comfort our whole stay. We can’t wait to come back! (But this time, in better spirits) Thank you KOA for a beautiful campground to make memories in!

This visit will be my last as I was treated badly and forced to park my truck across the road to the national park, LOTS of traffic Or leave it where it was for $20a day. It was not encroaching on the neighbor or impeding traffic flow. So it’s a money thing. Either there’s room to park or not. $20 doesn’t make more space. Adam & Carol are the face of the campground. Both go out of their way to be helpful & do it with a smile & great attitude, it’s not just a job to them they truly enjoy the people & making the stay wonderful.

It's a beautiful campground. I would highly recommend it to anyone! I would like to give a special review to Adam. He is so friendly. He waves to everyone. He goes out of his way to help! He's definitely an asset to this campground!

I was pleased w/this KOA. Disappointing, was the non-welcome we received at arrival. I did feel the office would closed by time we arrived, 657 PM. But, was happy someone was in the office. When we entered cart guy came in & immediately said he was off in 3 minutes. This was after we gave our name but before any conversation. We could have found ourspot wo him. His backing directions were wrong!

Always a great place to stay. I’ve been staying at the Townsend KOA for over 10 years. However, I do not like the new rule of only one vehicle allowed per site. You are forced to park across the road in the grass and mud in an unsecured lot. This is absolutely ridiculous. It rained and caused my car to get stuck and it got very muddy. Terrible policy.

Beautiful campground! Unfortunately our rig was at the limits of what the sites will accommodate. We have a 44 ft 5th wheel and it was tricky getting in.

Always enjoy our stay at the Townsend KOA! The staff are very attentive to your needs and the more relaxed feel of this KOA is a breath of fresh air!

Our stay was wonderful! Campground was super well maintained and clean! We enjoyed floating the river that runs through the campground...thjs will be a yearly trip!

The resort is beautiful, lots to do. Nice walk along a trail across the road. Very busy with families tubing in the river. Our personal site was a 10/10 - patio with furniture. The only issue I had was I found the staff unfriendly.

We had a great stay at Townsend KOA. All the folks were so friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean. The bath House was clean and laid out in a very useful manner. Can’t wait for our next visit!

This is a very beautiful park in the forest and very well taken care of. Staff was fantastic. Very helpful very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice river entrance. The spot we stayed was crowded in and the neighbor was at an angle. Very hard for us to maneuver in and out. Main panel was hot and kept kicking breaker. After being told to replace our cord which we did it was on their part. Went without ac on 85 degree day wasn’t pleasant. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t my favorite

We loved the privacy of our site with the bushes in between! We were within close walking distance to the river, pool, restrooms, and pavilion. All areas were very well-kept and clean! Absolute beautiful area, cannot say enough good things! Can’t wait to return!
