We had an amazing weekend here. The trick or treating and events were so much fun, and all of the employees were so helpful and kind! Already booked again for next year :)

We love this KOA. We drove all the way back for a couple of days last week. They have so many fun activities for families, the campsite is clean, the staff are friendly, the bathrooms are nice. My one complaint and it is not the fault of this KOA, is that RV's should be required to turn their lights off on the outside of their campers at night. They are so bright to us camping in the tent.

This is now my favorite campground . Nice sites and exceptionally clean bath and restrooms. Plenty of activities for the kiddos. But most of all the staff is outstanding greeting you always with a smile and a great attitude working hard to make your stay the best it can be .

Staying at the Townsend KOA is always a great time! The status is awesome, clean facilities, and the perfect location for all our GSM activities!

Nice KOA with friendly staff. We had a great time. However, it was by far the most expensive KOA ever for us and most likely will prevent us from returning unless the price is reduced. Sadly so. Our site by the river was nice but the deck floor had rotten wood. My wife and I had to constantly avoid the common path on the deck to keep from breaking our ankles.

Everyone was very friendly. We loved how family oriented and kid friendly the campground was. The bathrooms were very tidy and the staff were very quick with requests. We loved that there were Halloween events happening while we were there. We can't wait to come back!

Site #61 was priced as premium, and the site itself is nice, but the location is horrible. Constant foot, car and golf cart traffic passing by with little privacy. $20 dollar fine to have my son and his family visit for a few hours, parked well within our site area was a an unwelcomed surprise.

The staff is great as most KOA’s. Had a sight by the river…amazing. Bath house was always clean.

We loved your location, the cleanliness and quality of your showers/bathrooms, and the very accommodating personnel who helped us both when we arrived (got expert help backing into our site) and who also responded with understanding when we needed to cut our time short due to unanticipated family needs.

Great Campground, nicely kept grounds and facilities. Could have lived without the leaf blowers most days but they are trying to keep the site’s clear. Will be staying here again next June.

We had the best time. We stayed in one of the river sites and it was so peaceful. We made friends on both sides of our campsite. The workers were all friendly and helpful. We will defiantly stay there again.

Once again, another well maintained KOA campground with a friendly and helpful staff. We had a premium site backed up to a nicely flowing river and a beautiful textured concrete patio. We were met right away when we entered the park and led to our site. Also, being just a mile or so from a Great Smokies Park entrance was very convenient and a plus. Highly recommend a visit & stay.

Great help checking in and backing into site. They had beautiful landscaping which made the sites not seem so close together. We were on the upper level where sites were tight. Other levels had somewhat bigger sites and lots of trees. Very nice campground, dog park and close to Smokies.

Most enjoyable. Great staff. I will say tho that the window blinds were filthy and needed cleaning. The headboard of the bed needed a good vacuuming. More attention needs to be paid to cleaning corners. I woke with several spider bites. The bed itself was very comfortable.

Second time we have stayed at this KOA and we love it! Our cabin was perfect for our needs. Checkin was very efficient and the gal was friendly and informative. Great place to stay!!

Our cabin did not have dishcloths, dishwashing liquid or paper towels I had to request them the next day. I think it was just forgotten by housekeeping as I have never had this problem before. Also there was food crumbs under the mattress in the bunks. The office help was awesome as usual. This doesn’t ruin my rating with the KOA in Townsend. I just wanted to bring it to someone’s attention.

Very nice place big lots not on top of each other only thing that wasn't good was the internet couldn't use my smart TV for YouTube
