We stayed in the Cozy Cabins. The full size bed mattress was really uncomfortable. Would recommend bringing a mattress topper or egg crate to make it better. The kids didn't complain about the bunk beds and seemed to enjoy them. Staff was amazing. Pool was nice and clean. We enjoyed the showers and bathrooms were clean.

We come often to stay on the riverfront! This KOA is fantastic! The facility is always clean and well managed. The staff is always accommodating and patient! Thanks for providing a wonderful vacation experience!

Riverfront deluxe patios are dated and need repairs. It’s better to stay other waterfront sites.

We love the site but they are a bit close to the next site when enjoying the campfire. Site 12 needs more space for the fire. Worried our neighbors a bit that smoke would mar their unit. And it would be very helpful to make a way down to river from those steep sites.

Rented 2 6 person cabins with quite a distancebetweenus. Had 2 cars per cabin. Were told we could only have one per site had to park across the street. No problem, until we check in and are unloading cars literally doors open carrying things in and are told twice to move the car at one cabin. In the other 2 separate men walk right up to porch withing 10 minutes to ask to move. Constant harassment.

The people that run the campground are very nice and helpful. Adam was fantastic. He led us to our campsite and helped me back in, he really knows what he's doing. The campground is well kept but the section we were in, the sites were close together and small. The river is nice and being an older campground there are lots of trees for shade. So, my only complaint is the small campsite.

The best campground we've stayed at yet. The site, right on the banks of Little River, was awesome. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The laundry facilities were in great working order. The campground was clean, well-maintained, quiet and beautiful. It is also located to get to several interesting sites easily.

Had a beautiful river view site, with a stamped concrete patio area. Very peaceful, shaded spot. The bath house has private rooms, very clean. Entire campground is heavily shaded. Swings, benches on a grassy area by the river and easy access for tubing or kayaking. We love the slower, less crowded pace of Townsend and will return! (Some sites very close but allows more water sites.)

Perfection all the way around. Peaceful, beautiful, and impeccably maintained. Waking up to the sounds and sight of the river is something you have to experience for yourself! If you have the opportunity to visit, do it. You won't regret it!!!!

By far one of the nicest RV campgrounds we have stayed at. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the facilities were super clean and well maintained. Our campsite on the water was wonderful. We didn’t want to leave but we will definitely be back!! Thank you so much!

As always, the stay was awesome (2nd visit this year) The staff was always pleasant and even gave me one of their own laundry pods from their camper to do laundry as the store was sold out. They always go above and beyond to make the experience great. See you next year!

Nice place to camp for a long weekend. The pads are level and the utilities works great. The wifi is pretty slow so don't expect to stream much. Cell service and hotspots don't really work during the day as the networks are too congested from people visiting and passing through Townsend but it improves at night when people leave. We had a storm one day and lots of branches came down in spots.

I cannot say enough about this campground! Everything was perfect from the staff to the super clean cabin to the manicured landscaping. The folks running the show sure know what they’re doing!!! Dimitry was exceptional with his kindness and cheerfulness on every interaction. The staff was so helpful with everything. I recommend this campground to anyone that expects a five star camping experienc

This was our first KOA experience. It was really great! We loved your amenities. Your staff was wonderful too! We got a membership so we'll be visiting lots more often!

This is a "Holiday" KOA so it has amenities for campers who stay away and look for entertainment. It is just outside and entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The "Little River" flows by the edge of the campground then into the National Park. some sites back up to the river. There are many trees in the campground. The bathroom and other building facilities are dated in design but clean, neat and spotless in appearance. I feel the whole campground is well maintained. I have a high-end site, $100/night but I like the space. All sites are gravel. Mine was in excellent condition. Very quiet at night. No AT&T cell service but the campground WiFi worked very well all the time.
