Upon arrival to check in, encounter the front staff complaining about equipment, etc, and not very kind to each other. Lack of professionalism, should be greeted with smiles. Site was not level and took a lot to get our camper level, "patio" was broken concrete on corners, and table needed attention.

The staff was great. The campground had many junky rv’s with permanent residents. Not usually a game changer but this place was trashy.

It was obvious they had done some updating to the bathrooms. The pool was closed. It was a good stop over to see some friends. It seemed to be mostly a stop over camp ground for alot of campers. It was quiet and they took your trash if you put it out for them.

Restrooms were clean and modern and the nights were very quiet. Pool has been closed for 2 seasons b/c of a drain issue. Mini golf was only 6 holes and covered with leaves, no offer to blow them off. The shuffle board was covered in leaves also and the markings were barely visible. They have some lawn games available in the office.

We were told the pool was closed. It looked like it had never been opened the whole year. The site was dirty with food littered all over the site. The hook ups were very far from the rig so we were forced to buy a longer hose. We were unable to connect to Wifi for the first 4 hours. we were told they were upgrading. Then the rest of the time we were there it was on and off.

This is a very nice, comfortable campground. The staff was friendly, and a pleasure to meet.

Very nice campground, close to attractions. My only complaint was the showers. The shower heads are aimed at the shower curtains and get the changing area floor all wet. A different shower head May due the trick. Or a higher lip to the actual shower area.

Extreme false advertising. The pool has been out of order for 3 years. The putt putt golf was in total disrepair. The K-9 area was a joke. Would not recommend

A bit rough, but a lot of potential. Not sure if the campground is newly taken over but it needs a bit of TLC. Okay for a quick overnight stay .

This isn’t a location for a long term stay and I didn’t do my research on what journey meant so that is on me we don’t travel so we probably won’t be back but not because anything bad happened we just camp for longer period of time then this Kia is use to .

Nice pull thru stay. Pool closed for repair is misleading. No repairs underway. Good place to stay if you don’t need the pool. Lots have nice shade if you like that and are mostly level. Friendly helpful staff.

We were not able to use the pool from what we heard It has been down the whole season. The putt putt course might as well be eliminated as well as the shuffleboard I was there a month ago and specifically asked for a specific site which that site did not happen Cabins had ants and spiders needs a lot of upkeep for the rate that is charged not impressed

Nice little quiet campground. I’d give it more stars if it had more sites with full hook-ups. It was a convenient location for a great one night stop.

We had a very nice stay. The only suggestions are to put more gravel in the shadier spots and to fix the pool or take it off of your site. The shadier sites get muddy after a rain. Very quiet and peaceful there. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.

Lots of trees and shade. No pool and the signage from the interstate was lacking. Use your GPS or mapping app. The shower house could use an overall. Okay for a stop over.

Decent sites but things looked a little run down. Staff was courteous and accommodating. Unfortunately pool wasn’t open due to drainage issues.

Was not aware of the pool being closed (apparently for 3 years) and our grand daughter was very disappointed. Maybe I missed it online while looking at the amenities - but I also mentioned the desire to swim and was not told that the pool was closed. . . Otherwise - ok place

Campground was kept clean. It was a nice spot for an overnight spot. However my kids were looking forward to the pool, but apparently it’s been closed for a bit for repairs. I would just ask that to be known upfront that it was closed indefinitely.

It was a good place to stop overnight on a long drive. Check-in was easy. Friendly. We noticed the picnic tables were not in good shape. Campground was quiet. Many trees.

Only spent 1 night twice during our travels. Accommodating to allow after hours check in. Staff is very friendly and campground is clean and quiet. Showers face curtains which makes it difficult not to spray water onto floor. Pool is closed which is disappointing, but there is mini golf and an activity station in the office for kids. Toledo Zoo is close by and amazing!

I was surprised that most of the reservations are only overnight for one night. We were there for a soccer tournament and are use to weekend camping, so was a change of pace to see all the ‘changing’.

Needs alot of work No issues just Lack of maintenance on sewer and water systems. Pool closed looks like it was never even tried to be open /repaired.. It wasn't on our to do list anyway 4 days seen alot of 1 nighters. Great if you just need a stop over

Sweet, cozy and relaxing campground with mature trees. We stayed in a simple cabin for one night and were pleasantly surprised to find a space heater included, which was a big plus on our 50-degree night. Cabin was clean and cozy, and the campground was decorated all for Halloween. Not too many extra frills here, but the bathroom house was clean and well marked, and wifi was good enough. Would like some more signage around the campground to help find it at night.
