Campground Cancellation Guideline

Campground Specific Cancellation Policy

Non-Holiday/Special Event RV and Tent Sites:  7-day cancellation notice is required.  Must notify KOA by 4 pm seven days before your scheduled arrival. If you cancel prior to the 7-day period, you will receive a refund of your deposit less a $20.00 cancellation fee.  Cancellations within 7 days of your arrival date will result in a loss of your full deposit. Email cancellations are not valid.

Deluxe Cabins: These units require a 14-day notice prior to arrival. Must notify KOA by 4 pm 14 days before your scheduled arrival. If you cancel prior to this 14-day period, you will receive a refund of your deposit less a $20.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 14 days of your arrival date will result in a loss of your full deposit. Email cancellations are not valid.

Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.

Holidays and Special Events:

Holidays Include Memorial Day Weekend, July 4 Week, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Week, Christmas Week/New Year's Week. 

Special Event: Blue Ridge Festivals and Halloween

DURING HOLIDAYS AND SPECIAL EVENTS, THE CANCELLATION PERIOD FOR ALL SITES AND CABINS IS 14 DAYS. Any cancellations or changes to existing reservations received by 4:00 pm, 14 days prior to arrival will be refunded minus a $20 processing fee.  Any cancellations or changes to existing reservations received 14 days or less prior to arrival will result in loss of full deposit.

Cancellation Policy Details:- Reservations made after the deadlines require non-refundable deposits; cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.

- No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts. 

- No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.

- Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.

National Cancellation Guideline

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Deadlines:

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.

Cancellation Details:
