We had a fantastic stay at Thunder Bay KOA campground. The July 1st festivities were happening, many activities for the children and adults to participate in and overall the entire campground was in immaculate shape. Bathrooms very clean, garbage and recycling removed several times a day, grass cut and new sites being made. All the staff were excellent in providing great customer service!

Way too many people. Prefer sites that are more private, and too many dogs off leash.

My wife and I are new to camping. This was our trial trip with our new RV. Campground was very well kept and clean. Although it was a super busy Canada Day weekend, we never felt as if we didn't have privacy at our site. Will definitely visit again.

As Frequent campers we found this location underwhelming. Cramped in a site with no trees or fire pit, next to loud playground and music blaring from pool. People walking past constantly. Dogs barking. Entry road needs major repair. Repair in main septic led to more noise for much of first morning and terrible stink. We left a day early and found a much nicer spot.

It was a noisy location. I was not real happy with the bathroom and shower facility. Co-ed is not our thing.

Added immediately to my favorites! Great staff were responsive to my travel needs and helped me get a perfect site. Fabulous pool area and the nicest laundry room I've seen at a KOA.

We were fortunate to get a last minute reservation. The campground was very clean and well kept. The only drawback for me is the lack of privacy. No trees where we were. Just all open. For one night though, it was great.

It was an amazing 1 night stay for us. Dogs got to run around in an enclosed space with a doggy pond. Outstanding park for the kids to play in. Entire site was large and very easy to drive through with a larger trailer.

Check in was good. Needed a coffee badly and they brewed a fresh pot to give us the kick we needed. Site was easy to get in to and hookups excellent. Clean washrooms great showers. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing through. We are seniors so pool not big for us however young families where having lots of fun at the pool.

Staff was very nice and efficient. Did have a problem with the way the staff drove golf carts. Because of non paved roads they were constantly throwing up dust.

We camped in a motor home. The sites are neat and well spaced. The washroom/showered we’re excellent. We’ll be back.

Camp ground is well maintained, easy access from highway, close vicinity to Thunder Bay. Staff and management above helpful we had an issue with our truck tailgate and help us when a local bodyshop were no very useful. Looking forward to stopping at location on further adventures.

Pool area is fantastic, heated pools and ping pong activity. Nice lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas for shade is much appreciated. A nice addition this year is the bounce pad. The kids loved it! Happy to see there are a lot of fish in the pond this summer. My youngest had a blast catching and releasing his fishies. The shower/washroom buildings are big, bright and clean :)

everything was excellent except the weather-which unfortunately christie and mike couldnt do anything about. Used the swimming pool and showers and they were immaculately clean-you could eat off the floor. everything was wonderful and thanks to Christie and Mike

My husband and I visited mid October. We have never been to a KOA before this but our expectations for a private campsite was exceeded. There weren't many tent campers around which made it private for us. Their washroom facilities were SUPER CLEAN which is amazing for camping. They also had a camp kitchen which was nearby and that made it so easy for cleaning up after dinner. I would definitely stay here again.
