Making (moving )the A line permanent (seasonals) all over the park to accommodate more weekend campers was a bad idea. Almost weekly my site incurred some kind of damage from the transcients passing through. I understand it’s a business and cash is king- but for the loyal seasonals who take pride in their space and watch out for one another’s property- this was a bad idea.

Nice facilities. Beautiful campground. I was disappointed that we were assigned a spot so close to other campers despite there being many open campsites throughout the campground.

This is the second time we've stayed there. We love the area, and it's close to family. The dogs had a wonderful time. Facilities are clean. Staff is super-friendly and helpful. We will be coming back for sure.

We have been twice and are planning another visit. Great family place. Not to quiet but not crazy. Just a place where kids can yell and play and parents can have a laugh by the fire. Tons of activities to tire out the littles and allow adults to be kids again. My favorite KOA so far. Love going to Grand River Winery as well which is only 10 minutes away. Great food and Drinks. Great staff also.

It was excellent. Staff was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Park very well maintained. My only concern is the $20/day for a car to visit. Seems high. $5 seems much more reasonable, especially, since the guests were not using the facilities just visiting the campsite

Great site with a beautiful view of the little lake and the fall colors! Location, location, location! This campground is central to all the wineries and metro parks for awesome hiking!

Terrible camp site for an RV. Our four wheel drive wouldn't even push our 21 foot rv up that hill. This site and the one next to it should only accept tents or pop-ups. When we unhooked, it inadvertently turned off water to campsite down the hill. Water should be marked. Looked like a nice campground but not for us.

We were thrilled with the campground itself but even more so with the friendliness of the staff and other campers. We camp quite often and this was our first time at a KOA. We are sold! Heshall greeted us from the very beginning with help parking the camper to starting our fire. We plan to come next summer and enjoy all of the great summer amenities.

Stayed 2 nights with 4 younger kids. Everyone had fun. Nice amenities and activities.

Campgrounds had Heavy rain the day before we arrived. Washed out the road in and out of the Hollar area . Sites t2 & t3 had running water going through them when we arrived. As the weekend went on it started to dry out.

We had a great time minus the internet not working very well and having to move spots since the camper wasn’t fitting in our original spot comfortably. The kids had a great time doing the scavenger hunt and the movie was a good way to wind down the weekend.

The campground was beautiful. Would like to come back in the summer to utilize more of the amenities.

This was just an overnight stop for us on our way home. This is a great campground. Would have loved to stayed another night but their pull-throughs were booked up. Only downside was the gravel road leading up to the entrance. The sites are long, had a patio with glider and picnic table.

Very nice and unique campground. Large sites and plenty of room to walk around. Even thought the park has seasonal sites there is plenty of nice daily sites. Multiple ponds make for some really nice cabin sites. Would defiantly come back if travelling thru the area.

Think that is horrible that office closes before 6pm on a Friday night during check in. Trying to figure out where to go in the dark & rain is very inconvenient. Also 30 amp breaker was shot & no one monitors phone for emergencies after hours

A bit off the main highway, but worth the trip! Nice clean park with friendly people. Sites are well spaced and level. We will stay there again when we are back in that area.

To be clear, this is a KOA, not a hotel. When I rate the rooms here, I refer to the sites. I have NOT stayed in their cabins. This KOA is under new ownership this year and so far it seems great. We camped here a few times last year as weekend visitors. The sites are nice, well-maintained, and reasonably private for a KOA. This year, we have returned as “permanent” campers at a dedicated site. Having camped at dozens of other places over the last several years, we did not choose this KOA as a permanent location without considerable research and discussion. The staff is immediately helpful upon arrival and keeps up a high standard of service over the entire stay. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The camp store is nicely stocked and maintained as are the amenities such as the heated pool, the swimming pond, and fishing pond. The camp site we have is nice and level enough that I was easily able to level my RV in all directions pretty quickly. We have a nice fire pit and plenty of space for my family and dogs. We are close to the nice showers and bathrooms. Though we will not likely use them often, it is nice that they are clean and available. The water, power, and sewer hookups are in good shape and I have no concerns about them. As for location, this campground seems to be pretty quiet and amongst a very wooded area. There is a small amount of gravel road leading up to the campground regardless of the direction you come in, but the road seems to be very well-maintained and has caused us no concerns so far. We like that it is isolated, but other needs are close enough if we want them. Within a few minutes, you can get to a hardware store, many food options, and other needs likely to arise when camping…especially wineries/distilleries. Lots of wineries and such are very close. Overall, this is a great KOA to visit or stay a season. I hope you and your guests are able to enjoy this area and this campground is a great place to start!

So we went Off season to visit for a night with the dog and the baby. The site was well maintained, clean and off city. The new owners were super Friendly new. We had a nice cosy and Quiet night. Just what we needed. Grocery stores and all needs are within 15 minutes from site.

Although we only stayed one night it was very relaxing. We were traveling with 3 dogs and got a site that had a dog pen. It was lovely walking around early in the morning. They have a fantastic gift shop too! I'm going back for sure
