The staff were so nice and friendly and things were pretty clean not enforcing max numbers of guests per campsite meant we had a party of 6-14 people with cars coming and going at all hours with 3-4 tents and 4-9 car at their site!!! They were swearing, blaring music and making it impossible to enjoy our campsite all day and night for two days so we left early.

Absolutely loved this campground! Huge sites and whole campground arranged so even though lots of campers there, it never felt like it. Lots of sections with lots of trees so plenty of privacy. Friendliest staff yet! All went out of their way to help you. Really great pet wash that we really appreciated. Just loved this place.

Unfortunately there were a lot of issues with the water system when we were there (not working, being repaired, bathhouse closed, bad smell). And we had a nice spot by the pond but there was so much traffic going by our campsite and the road was very dusty, Way too many golf carts driving around. the space itself was nice, the patio was great, was just hard to enjoy in the dust from the road.

I understand this is a Holiday but for individuals staying for just one night there should be less of a charge. Our sight was not level- front tires were off the ground. Bathrooms were very dirty. On the bright side - Wonderful spot for a lengthy stay with kids!

Campground is nicely laid out and maintained with the exception of the roadways. They are so dusty that everything in and on your vehicle and camper are FULL of dust.

Customer service was a fail. I called the after hours number due to an issue with my campsite. It’s been 4 days and I haven’t heard from anyone. I’m sure the campground is fine, but we didn’t stay long enough to rate it. I’m glad Love’s Travel Stop was just down the road…they’ve earned our business twice now due to our experience.

2nd time visitor. Very nice, clean, friendly. 12 yr old very disappointed paddle boards no longer there (web site did not indicate you no longer had), think could maybe offer at least one activity or craft during weekday stays. Overall very nice campground.

The resort has so many great amenities and is in beautiful shape. Unfortunately the weather prohibited us from taking full advantage. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This is such a great campground. Beautiful setting. We were there over the 4th of July and really enjoyed their fireworks! It was great to see all the participation in the activities. Loved seeing all the kids and adults playing sand volleyball etc...

This is our second stay at this campground, and we will be coming back again. This kids loved the pool and the events the campground had during the 4th of July long weekend.

We had a wonderful 4th of July holiday at KOA with family! A lot of activities for the kids! Staff was very pleasant everything is clean, very well maintained and taken care of! Great time!

Friendly staff. Most sites were great, but our friends stayed in a site in F that was terrible. All gravel and no space. Ours in G was good. Fireworks were amazing! Wi-Fi could not handle the crowd at all! A few times we couldn’t even get texts to send if we were on Wi-Fi. Good amenities! One more suggestion. Worn campers ahead of you are going to close the pool for an entire day!

Unbearable dust - could not sit outside, windshield was so covered that you could not see out of it within 24 hours. Lots of activities for kids, but you should not make a campground-wide "water wars", further kicking up dust from gulf-carts flying around, and also non-participants had to stay inside to avoid getting soaked. It was absolute chaos, screaming from dawn til 11pm. No relaxation here!

Very dusty. Dont like idea of paying $30.00 to save a spot. No one else has such a system, Wen you go camping you pick where you want to be for a reason, the ones that have at top section needs the top so if it rains you dont have rain on you. poor set up. Also sites need to be graded off so not so much blocks are needed.

We really enjoyed out stay. We were a little disappointed that the pool was closed for a day, but we understood. But then the day before a holiday the store closes at 5. I mean it's a holiday week? Then on the day of our departure the store is closed from 10 to 1? We were sent text messages for every little thing but no notification that on the day we have to return our rented golf cart it's clos

The campground was clean and well maintained, we had no issues with the facilities or quality of our campsite. However, the campground hosted a dangerous and unexpected fireworks display that was a mere feet away from our campsite. It terrified our dogs and rained mortar and sparks on our camper and my vehicle. It was unsafe and inexcusable to do this to residents. I will not return again.

Great campground. Lots of amenities and friendly people. The only thing we didn’t love, was our actual site. It was very uneven and difficult to park. And the space outside our camper was the same, very uneven.

Please make sure that activity information matches what is done. There was one activity that was held in a different place than advertised. Only other disappointment was that the pool was closed the only one time during our stay that we were able to swim. Luck of the draw. Well run, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had a very nice stay, just try to cut back on the rain next stay ;)

Great amenities but our campsite was very disappointing and not worth the money. It was small, all gravel- no grass, no space to set up a game, not level at all as it sat on a significant incline. We couldn’t really enjoy the campfire because our seats wouldn’t fit around the fire ring comfortably and it wasn’t level. My daughter actually fell backwards. Other sites were much better than our

Staff was great, always something going on. Had an itinerary for the entire weekend, for events going on, rain or shine. They even gave updates via text message, which was nice too. Will definitely be going back...

Christy was very friendly and came by our site to tell us about activities. Invited us to come to the activities. There was several older men who were very friendly and answered questions we ask. Truly a enjoyable stay

The site wasn't very level. The store hours were short. The staff seemed reluctant to use my reward points towards my bill. There were nice walking areas and plenty of places to play and have adventures. The bathrooms were neat and clean. Directions to the place were very clear.

Loved our glamping tent, the location and how beautiful the campground is. Only recommendation we have is hooks in the bathroom to dry towels or hang clothes on. Would definitely come back!

A wonderful campground. So much for families to do. Loved the band Thunder Creek!! The only reason I did not give a 5 was the gravel road. You should send out a notice to come in from the south. Also, the sites where we were located were not level.

When we started staying at the Thompson KOA 4 years ago, it cost $25/day to rent a golf cart. Last year, it cost $50/day to rent a golf cart. This year, KOA was charging $80/day to rent a golf cart and six of them sat out in front of the building the entire week we were there. That cost is outrageous.

We have stayed at a lot of KOA’s and this is our favorite. They have lots for the kids to do and it’s beautifully maintained.

We travel full time. This park is not for rvs looking for a night or 2 off the road. It is on a gravel road. BUT for a family with children it is an awesome park!!! Nice pool, fishing pond swimming pond and lots of other things for families. Staff was helpful and friendly.

So we went Off season to visit for a night with the dog and the baby. The site was well maintained, clean and off city. The new owners were super Friendly new. We had a nice cosy and Quiet night. Just what we needed. Grocery stores and all needs are within 15 minutes from site.

Although we only stayed one night it was very relaxing. We were traveling with 3 dogs and got a site that had a dog pen. It was lovely walking around early in the morning. They have a fantastic gift shop too! I'm going back for sure

This is the most beautiful KOA we've ever stayed in. The grounds are beautiful and the park is very well maintained. All the employees are very nice and helpful.
