We were happy with our electric tent site that included a pavilion and picnic table. Facilities were nice (nicer than some others we've used) but only two for our section of the camp grounds didn't seem like enough. The swimming lake area was small and felt crowded. The website said there were paddle boards and boats but we saw nothing like that available. The pool and grounds were nice.

We always have a great time at Grand River KOA. The staff is awesome and the campground is clean and well taken care of. We will certainly be back!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Thompson/Grand Valley KOA. My boys enjoyed swimming in the pool and as a family greatly enjoyed swimming in the swimming lake. Very clean and well kept campground. The paw pen for my dog was the best! We will definitely come back and stay at this campground again.

My family has been holding our reunion here for 20+ years, before it became KOA, the 2nd week of August. This year was one of the worst. We make reservations a year in advance. Had my aunt not called, we would have had chaos. A detailed email is being sent.

We were amazed at how clean our cabin was. The grounds are very well kept up and clean. My husband loved the pool. We appreciate that your cabins are pet friendly. It was a plus to our dog with us. We will definitely be back next summer!

Everything was amazing but again this year we had flies in our cabin when we got there and our neighbors at DC5 also had flies. This is pretty gross

We had a blast. There are so many things to do with a family to keep busy. The only complaint is the dust from the roads.

We arrived late about 8:15 and had trouble opening gate. Campsight was not level. Power cord was on opposite side as water so we could not connect to both. Grounds were nice we just did not like campsight.

quiet park. We stayed in A8. I imagine there wasnt much available. Firepit was on backside of camper. Was a strange lot. Would have needed a 50 ft sewer hose to reach. But overall was nice stay and clean park. Would go there again but would be more particular what lot we got.

Beautiful location, clean restrooms, long pull thru sites, nice laundry facility. Quiet area. Ponds for fishing and swimming for the kids. We can thru Thompson to avoid the 1 mile gravel road. Ledge Rd was narrow and not well maintained. Would definitely recommend this KOA.

This is less than an hour form our home so it was the ver 1st campground we went to when we started camping. Everyone was top rate so now it is an annual trip just down the road

We have stayed previously and this time around in our motorhome, a delightful site and couldn’t be happier. New owners have unfortunately eliminated onsite pizza and ice cream deliveries… but it’s a awesome park.

We have been staying here for a few years, this time was a little disappointing. Our bathroom door would not stay shut and when it did it was very difficult to get the door open. Same with the door to the room with the bunk beds, we would close it and it would just roll open. We didn’t have enough silverware for 4 people to eat at the same time. The tv hardly had any channels that would come in.

Only stayed for a single night and it was our first time at this campground. The staff was friendly and helpful. The campground was clean and well maintained - large sites, partially shaded. Overall, a ery nice campground.

Great place for taking your kids. Staff was friendly. Only downside was the constant flow of golf cart traffic and the dust they raised.

Cleanest cabin we have stayed in at a KOA, especially being pet friendly. Conveniently located to everything. Lots to do and nobody breathing down your back all the time as many KOA’s do.

The family had a great time. The whole staff there is great, we are going again. The thing that bothers me is the 30 dollar lock site charge, that you ,corporate puts in . I thought that’s why I make reservations a year in advance. That’s a RIP OFF. My family and I do enjoy our time at the Thompson KOA.

Nice campground but site wasn't good. It was very unlevel and the front of site had washout and drug leveling legs trying to get into site

The back-in site that I was but into upon was on a steep incline. I would have had to rise the rear of my class c mh 25 inchs to level it out. I went to check in and they switched me to another site that was just as bad. I complained to Rob the maintenance manager and he agree refunded the 2nd night as we were not going to stay under the circumstances.

This was my first time at a KOA. And we loved it! A couple suggestions, if I may. The floating dock at the pond needs some signage to warn swimmers that it is shallow. Being a dock that sets out further like that I expected it to be deeper for jumping and diving. Also, the laundry mat is a wonderful asset. I just wish it had a change machine. Still a beautiful, clean campground! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay, employees are of great help, the grounds appeared clean and everyone appeared to be having a great time, with lots of activities to keep busy with. Our site was very roomy, but unfortunately, several sites were very uneven where several 5th wheels had their wheels off the ground on the camper entrance side, which makes a huge step up into your camper, also, have a extension!

To be clear, this is a KOA, not a hotel. When I rate the rooms here, I refer to the sites. I have NOT stayed in their cabins. This KOA is under new ownership this year and so far it seems great. We camped here a few times last year as weekend visitors. The sites are nice, well-maintained, and reasonably private for a KOA. This year, we have returned as “permanent” campers at a dedicated site. Having camped at dozens of other places over the last several years, we did not choose this KOA as a permanent location without considerable research and discussion. The staff is immediately helpful upon arrival and keeps up a high standard of service over the entire stay. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The camp store is nicely stocked and maintained as are the amenities such as the heated pool, the swimming pond, and fishing pond. The camp site we have is nice and level enough that I was easily able to level my RV in all directions pretty quickly. We have a nice fire pit and plenty of space for my family and dogs. We are close to the nice showers and bathrooms. Though we will not likely use them often, it is nice that they are clean and available. The water, power, and sewer hookups are in good shape and I have no concerns about them. As for location, this campground seems to be pretty quiet and amongst a very wooded area. There is a small amount of gravel road leading up to the campground regardless of the direction you come in, but the road seems to be very well-maintained and has caused us no concerns so far. We like that it is isolated, but other needs are close enough if we want them. Within a few minutes, you can get to a hardware store, many food options, and other needs likely to arise when camping…especially wineries/distilleries. Lots of wineries and such are very close. Overall, this is a great KOA to visit or stay a season. I hope you and your guests are able to enjoy this area and this campground is a great place to start!

So we went Off season to visit for a night with the dog and the baby. The site was well maintained, clean and off city. The new owners were super Friendly new. We had a nice cosy and Quiet night. Just what we needed. Grocery stores and all needs are within 15 minutes from site.

Although we only stayed one night it was very relaxing. We were traveling with 3 dogs and got a site that had a dog pen. It was lovely walking around early in the morning. They have a fantastic gift shop too! I'm going back for sure
