We stayed in a deluxe cabin and loved it. Other members of my family stopped by to eat with us and now they all want to reserve a cabin this summer together side by side.........So I will be calling this campground in the near future. Everyone thought the campground this very nice.

Great place, wonderful staff! Lots of fun and interesting activities. The only complaint we had was the dust. A water truck to keep the dust down would be a great benefit.

We would love to come back but the accommodations at $335 a night are a little high. The farmhouse is nice as we need the size, but we would give it a c+: no ice cube trays, bedroom light does not work. Bedroom door does not close. It is advertised that it can sleep sex, but there were only four plates etc. Luggage stand is useless. Do not book Farmhouse unless you bring most kitchen utensils.

Love your campground! Only complaints are: The dirt road. I know that is beyond your control. I'm sure you beg to have it paved. Please beg more! It is the only dirt road that I see in the whole area! We come from the north and always go the long way so we enter from the south and spend less time on the dirt. Pool is advertised as heated, but it was not. Cable didn't work. But will be back.

Overall,very nice.The new management personnel were friendly and helpful, which is a refreshing change from what we'd encountered in the past couple of years.Only4/5 because I still object to the $30. charge to reserve a site and find the cost of the more deluxe sites too high. Also, the wash house closest to our campsite was padlocked(unavailable),which would have been nice to know in advance.

The activities offered were great. Was hoping the pool would have been heated like it says on your site and papers even from the park. The sites could use less landscape spots and more grass by where we stayed (G8). The staff was great though.

Our campsite was nice and spacious, there’s alot of activity for adults and kids, great fishing pond. The only thing that wasn’t great was all the dust from the roads.Other than that we had a nice weekend.

Lovely campground. Lots of activities for our grandkids. The pond was great fun the teens. It's nice to have something that appeals to them! The staff was great, very friendly.

It was nice but the entire campground smelled like sewer and kind of took away from being able to enjoy being outside.

The staff was wonderful. The campground had many nice amenities and was overall well kept. The biggest issue I had which is why the rating was low, was the dusty roads. The roads are horrible and are mainly just dirt which resulted in rolling dust clouds. If the campground would just add additional stone on the roads or pave them this would be a 5 star campground.

Amazing facilities! Clean bathrooms. Too many kids for our liking, but that’s a personal opinion. Shower water never got above lukewarm.

It needs a lot of work. Land needs to be flat it is dangerous to walk around there potentially a person can fall clean it up. we will never go back

Really disappointing that the pool was not really heated, despite saying it was on the website. The water was way too cold to be useable, wish there had been activities during our weekday stay.

This is an attractive, family friendly campground nestled in a forest with two large ponds, in a rural area. Due to the gravel road to get there, very dusty conditions in the campground, and a site that was very un-level (we used every levelling pad we had and still were not level), I would not go back to this campground. There are so many exceptional campgrounds I would rather re-visit.

First of all it's too expensive, $100.00 a night for the campsite we had wasn't worth it. Not 10 miles down the road a campground, that had better campsites is only $50.00 a night. Site P-4 wasn't all the level, the picnic table was crap and the roads around it were are dusty all the time. We understood that the speed limit was supposed to be 5 mph, they should tell all their employees.

We have stayed here 3 times in the last 4 years for a total of 60+ nights. The focus is on weekend camping. Longer term stays lack basics. Half the washers & dryers work, one bathroom is still broken, the roads are not maintained, etc. After corporate bought the site, we expected that some repairs would be made. Instead, the investments are being made in new glamping tents to drive revenue.

We enjoyed this trip over all. The pool was ICE cold and the website noted that it was heated so that was kind of a bummer.. The fishing was a huge favorite. We did not appreciate the Dance Party going til 10:30pm with our camp site right across from the pavillion. It was hard for my kids to fall asleep and we didn't feel like we could sit outside and enjoy the fire with all the people right there

Paid for premium lot with a patio. Could not sit outside at anytime during our stay due to the traffic. There literally was not a 2 minute period where a vehicle or golf cart didn’t go by throwing dust all over us. Couldn’t believe that a premium lot would be right at a major traffic area. I’m not one to complain but I feel like the total bill for our stay should be refunded. We left a Day e

The facility is very nice. But need to work on M lot, as too uplevel currently. Had to move from original spot as work not work for 30ft. Even at site across, hard to level. Watched multiple RV over course of weekend. To be fair, staff worked with us to help and even offered to let us move away from that section. This was our only concern with our stay.

We had a great time on property for Nick & Shannon's wedding. Check-in was easy, the cabins were clean, KOA team members were personable and helpful, and the property was easy to navigate. We also loved the daily text messages with reminders about ongoing events.

This is a great camping place nice neat and clean. But they hosted a wedding bash that totally was so loud that I was ready to leave but I paid my money for a nice relaxing visit. Instead it was like I was at a concert with a DJ. What was really tasteful is when the DJ started to sing along with the rap songs cussing not what I would want to hear on my camping trip.

We had wedding guest,family and friends from all over come together here. Everyone committed on how great the place was,the staff being friendly and helpful, also how this was a wonderful place to have such an event as a wedding. Many out if state family has already mentioned coming back here to have a get together with all of us. Thank you Thompson KOA and staff for making this the best time!

5 stars for all the staff! However, 0 stars for our site which was unlevel to the point that the sewer connection was higher than our drain terminal. We were unable to drain tanks w/o reconnecting our truck and pulling into road to allow gravity to work. Old and in poor condition laundry machines. And unfortunately for us, it was landscaping day too which made it impossible to sit outside. Dusty.

It would have been perfect if the heat for the pool was working. The first two days of our stay the water was freezing. Otherwise it was a beautiful campground with lots to offer for the kids.

Would not stay near tent area again, the weekend we were there so 25-30 ppl in 1 tent area. To many cars and had no camping etiquette, blocking the road for extended periods, dogs not leashed and young kids driving golf carts pretty crazy. Staff were friendly and helpful, clean campground with alot of activities and wineries nearby.

Had a great time once we figured out why our electric wasn't working. Was disappointed when the after hours crew didn't call us back after 2 hrs of waiting. We eneded up going home that night but got it all worked out the next day.

great site. love the dog run site, cleanest bathrooms of any KOA I have ever visited ! did not like to 1.5 mile road approaching the campground - it needs paving.

To be clear, this is a KOA, not a hotel. When I rate the rooms here, I refer to the sites. I have NOT stayed in their cabins. This KOA is under new ownership this year and so far it seems great. We camped here a few times last year as weekend visitors. The sites are nice, well-maintained, and reasonably private for a KOA. This year, we have returned as “permanent” campers at a dedicated site. Having camped at dozens of other places over the last several years, we did not choose this KOA as a permanent location without considerable research and discussion. The staff is immediately helpful upon arrival and keeps up a high standard of service over the entire stay. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The camp store is nicely stocked and maintained as are the amenities such as the heated pool, the swimming pond, and fishing pond. The camp site we have is nice and level enough that I was easily able to level my RV in all directions pretty quickly. We have a nice fire pit and plenty of space for my family and dogs. We are close to the nice showers and bathrooms. Though we will not likely use them often, it is nice that they are clean and available. The water, power, and sewer hookups are in good shape and I have no concerns about them. As for location, this campground seems to be pretty quiet and amongst a very wooded area. There is a small amount of gravel road leading up to the campground regardless of the direction you come in, but the road seems to be very well-maintained and has caused us no concerns so far. We like that it is isolated, but other needs are close enough if we want them. Within a few minutes, you can get to a hardware store, many food options, and other needs likely to arise when camping…especially wineries/distilleries. Lots of wineries and such are very close. Overall, this is a great KOA to visit or stay a season. I hope you and your guests are able to enjoy this area and this campground is a great place to start!

So we went Off season to visit for a night with the dog and the baby. The site was well maintained, clean and off city. The new owners were super Friendly new. We had a nice cosy and Quiet night. Just what we needed. Grocery stores and all needs are within 15 minutes from site.

Although we only stayed one night it was very relaxing. We were traveling with 3 dogs and got a site that had a dog pen. It was lovely walking around early in the morning. They have a fantastic gift shop too! I'm going back for sure
