Ok place for one night seems to be part of a permanent park. Excessive highway noise being right next to I 30 hard to sleep .

Lots of road noise. Asphalt pull through was broken up and unlevel. However, bathrooms and showers were very clean. Good for overnight stopovers for us.

Nice park. Very close to the interstate. While checking in our skylight cover was shattered when we drove under a tree. The branch hung down onto the main roadway running through the campground, and while I should have checked to make sure we would clear, I was shocked when we hit it. You don’t expect it to destroy your skylight cover on a main feeder road. Be careful if you have a big rig.

Very convenient location, right off of I-30. The problem with the location is that it is excellent for all travel going west but for any other direction, you must travel west for 1* mile to get to another direction. Had a level pull through lot. The water faucet was a little difficult getting attached. The bath house was near by and clean.

It's great for an overnight stop but very outdated. This is the only KOA that we have stayed in that did not call or text prior to arrival and we have stayed in alot of KOA's. It's a very very basic KOA

Unfortunately, the park is located right next to a busy inner state, and the sound of traffic at big rigs. All night was not pleasant.

No cable has its short comings. I was receiving the Shreveport TV broadcast guitar well at night. During the day there was no reception.

the only reason why i didn't rate this KOA with a 5 is because i stay there at least once per year when meeting my son from little rock arkansas to get my grandkids and for the last 2 years the cable is out. seems like 2 years is a long time to repair the cable.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do not have cable tv and we say we are satellite friendly and for quests to use an antenna for local tv channels. We also try to tell everyone that we do not nave cable tv.

Very clean but I40 is around 40 yards away so lots of 18 wheeler engine braking noise. But our 5th wheel has insulated windows so not bad inside.

We love Conroe / Nth Houston KOA....it is always clean and just the amenities we need...and close to HouTex ...Andy in the Office is a real asset and Ambassador for KOA...Mike. the facilities is a wonderful guy (and a Veteran) with nothing but good to say about KOA and the mgmt team...this is our 4th or 5th stay and we'll be back

Very clean campground ! It does need better lighting in the campground. Also, the bathroom and showers close at 6pm. That is ridiculous for campers that get in late and stay one night and leave early. Do what other KOA’s do put a a numbered key pad on it.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The bathroom is not closed, it is secure after the pool closes at 8 pm, all campers are given the 4 digit code to put in on the key pad. The bath house is open 24/7.

Our web site clearly states we do not have cable tv available, and campers are welcome to use a satellite dish or an antenna.

Thanks for finding us a site after Shreveport KOA told us the site we had reserved was in the half of the property with no power after a horrible storm and we were already on the road. -So thanks for squeezing us in !!

Short overnight while traveling north. Convenient little stop over point. Pull through was long enough for our 40’ Motorhome and dingy!

Reserved a spot on the app, arrived and was put in a spot from a former long-term resident and when I requested the site we reserved we were told it did not exist, the pictures of sites were old pictures and that we could not reserve a site on the KOA app. Camp was overgrown and a mess. Jerry the General Manager was not respectful in conversations. Jerry basically said if you don't like it leave s

The spot reserved on the app was a long term site These site types are usually occupied. one of them was available. We did not change this camper to another site. The campers choose the site base on the photo which is an example of a site type and may not be the reserved site. Offered refund.

I specifically choose KOA whenever possible because i usually know what to count on. This location is a little old and could use some spiffing up, but I would probably stay again if it fit the time and place requirements as it did this time.

Not only was the mattress in the cabin about 1,000x better than any of those slabs of solid rock they try to pass off as a damn mattress at most hotels, it came with sheets and pillows too! Our cabin was clean, the ladies at the front desk were nice, it was overall a great place to stay. The only downside is the location, it's right next to a feeder road so you get some road noise. It would be a bigger deal for tent campers, but trailers and those like us with cabins have a bit of insulation so it wasn't terrible.
