Weather is cool, but we got a warm reception and a great spot to park our small RV. Really like the area where the park is located.

Way too close to the interstate and loud. Was called and emailed my site information and they put someone in my site then was pun in a non class a friendly site roads are crap. Horrible stay not looking forward to the other reservation I have for my trip home after the holidays. Worst campground I have ever stayed at.

Was in a spot near the front. Very loud. I've been there before and the sites farthest from the front are quieter. I'll request a different spot next time.

Very noisy from the nearby highway, facilities are old and run down, neighborhood has some sketchy people walking around

We only spent the night here. It is a nice campground, close to the interstate, easy in and out. The drawback is, close to the interstate, a little noisy. We were so tired, it didn't bother us at all.

Hopefully this park is not the way of the future. No contact other than a call the morning of arrival telling us our site number and they were emailing us the codes for laundry/showers. There was no interaction with anyone upon our arrival. The park is very close to the freeway (which I did not realize when I booked), and it was difficult to sleep with all the noise that comes with that location.

Nowhere in the directory does it say how close this KOA is to the highway. Several times we thought a vehicle was coming right through us. Site was level and easy to get to. Phone call before arriving was good though hard to hear.

easy in-out, major tv stations are out of range for most tv antennas so it was important to have cable but there was none. Major disappointment for a KOA

Nice facility, the bathhouse was clean, the staff was friendly and the campground was conveniently located right off highway I-30. The downside is that it is quite noisy near the entrance locations because you are so close to the highway. We did not have a problem with it but you may want to request off the main road if noise bothers you.

The staff was very kind, and the sides had swings, and a dog part was available. The dog park was dirty, and the noise from the highway was so severe. We did not sleep at all that night. It is easy to get off and on the highway, but too close for rest.

Friendly people, very nice camp location, good service. Only problem was the restroom sewer line must have been plugged on Monday morning. All toilets stopped up and could not drain.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes we had to get a plumber to get the sewer line open. It was plugged because some one is flushing baby wipes down the toilet. We hope to find the person doing that and stop them from doing that. Otherwise thanks for the compliment.

Check in was very easy. Owners were very friendly. Despite the poor (very wet) weather our site was free of standing water. Nearby traffic noise might bother some people.

like the camping area, friendly staff, only issue was the excess noise at night, traffic, train noise, and loud hammering sound off and on all night.

Easy off the road and back on our way. Stayed twice, once on the way to Texas and once on the way home. They had a nice little art store and friendly person checked us in on the way down. Late check in on the way home was very easy stop.

This KOA is fine for an over night stay. We did not spend time using the amenities. Lots and lots of restaurants are a couple miles down the freeway. Very nice people.

We had a very nice stay. In fact we asked to stay one additional day and we didn't have to move our RV. It's easy access to the campground. We didn't have to check into the office upon arrival. We received a call that automatically checked us in. Directions were give that upon entering immediately turn left. That helped us navigate to our site. I would stay at this campground again.

Although the campground is easily accessible, we didn’t appreciate the pull thru gravel pad that left our camper with a downward slope. Our driveable RV doesn’t have leveling jacks…just stabilizing jacks. The location was right next to a very noisy freeway which didn’t give us a very good night’s rest.

I specifically choose KOA whenever possible because i usually know what to count on. This location is a little old and could use some spiffing up, but I would probably stay again if it fit the time and place requirements as it did this time.

Not only was the mattress in the cabin about 1,000x better than any of those slabs of solid rock they try to pass off as a damn mattress at most hotels, it came with sheets and pillows too! Our cabin was clean, the ladies at the front desk were nice, it was overall a great place to stay. The only downside is the location, it's right next to a feeder road so you get some road noise. It would be a bigger deal for tent campers, but trailers and those like us with cabins have a bit of insulation so it wasn't terrible.
