We like staying in the Texarkana when we visit our daughter in Texarkana. We really liked staying in NC 14 away from the traffic noise on I30.

We were there for three nights during the Memorial Day weekend 2022. The campground was neat and clean. We also met some very nice campers who were there as well. Jerry B., was a very kind host. We will consider returning in the future. However, hopefully they will find a way to level the sites.

Nice clean park but hard to level our bus and the highway noise was excessive.

The bathrooms were dirty. The neighbor had his dogs unleashed with dog poop on our site.

Have a 42 ft class A motor home w both sides with slide outs Asked for a wide and level site Received an un level site with tree branches Electrical box rusty Not happy but told that was all that was available although saw several empty more level sites Never again and will not recommend

We loved it, but they gave us the wrong bathroom code. Other than that it was great to have a good rest and hot shower before hitting the road again!!!

Accommodating staff. Park is getting outdated. Have stayed here in the past. Homeless people come through the park from the woods.

This was a last minute reservation so we are glad there was room. However, the "pads" we very old and broken up asphalt. Men's bath/shower was very dirty. sites were very tight, was glad the site in front of me was open so I had a direct exit, not sure I would have made the turn without that. Was ok for one night but would not be back anytime soon.

Received call the morning we were to arrive telling us our camp site number and directions to the site. This was an extra step that eliminated the need to stop at the office on arrival. Friendly staff and clean park.

A pretty basic campground. No cable television. Lots and lots of highway noise as the campground is on the frontage road of a major highway in a busy urban commercial area, Downtown Texarkana is very interesting and not too far away ( 15 minutes )

Good if you are using it for a layover between cities on a trip. Very basic with no store to speak of.

I was there over a year. The homeless cut a hole in the fence behind my RV, I reported it to the manager, Jerry. He informed me that they were looking at getting a new fence but didn't know when. He sent someone to look at the hole but they did not fix it. My husband fixed it and Jerry said that he wished we hadn't. He was more concerned about homeless coming thru the front than my safety.

KOA usually means "QUALITY". This KOA is a sadly lacking! The office wreaked of smoke. This KOA needs some TLC.

"Trailer park" that has a few RV sites. Trash piles outside of campers and mobile homes in park. Has a pool with no chairs or tables and gate is padlocked. Staff... I won't say they were rude but...I had booked a 30 day stay, I spent one night and left.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The pool was not open, it will be available on Memorial Day and of course the gate was locked. we pick up trash at long term rv sites and mobile homes every monday and friday, we were in the process of picking trash up and by noon on trash days it is all in the dumpster far from sites.

Not a bad KOA needs some work and if front office is close and the Main Office is in use please post a note on the door for people no where to register! Also have information on the local area! Clty map-things to see and do etc.

the site that I was originally given was changed to the site next to it. turns out that the site I was changed to, the electricity didn't work. so I moved to the original site I was given the electricity worked. was not comfortable in either sites. directions to campground not clear.

Very old, needs updating. No chairs around pool. Pad site need new concrete.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

we dont open the pool until memorial day weekend, we do maintain the water year round and the pool deck chairs and tables and umbrella's will go upon city inspection on May 17.

Sites were clean and accomadated our 34' trailer and F150 Supercab. Bathrooms were very clean :)

Loved this campground. Dogs could run, kids could play, nice easy on easy off. Very nice to be called and given site number and more instructions.

I specifically choose KOA whenever possible because i usually know what to count on. This location is a little old and could use some spiffing up, but I would probably stay again if it fit the time and place requirements as it did this time.

Not only was the mattress in the cabin about 1,000x better than any of those slabs of solid rock they try to pass off as a damn mattress at most hotels, it came with sheets and pillows too! Our cabin was clean, the ladies at the front desk were nice, it was overall a great place to stay. The only downside is the location, it's right next to a feeder road so you get some road noise. It would be a bigger deal for tent campers, but trailers and those like us with cabins have a bit of insulation so it wasn't terrible.
