1site only had 110 volts on one leg an 0 bolts on line 2. Talked to office and she called manager, he said worked on ( changed breaker and 50 amp receptacle) and all was ok. Asked if I was using a surge protector, said yes. Said that was my problem. Told him I checked each line with voltage meter and had 110 volts . Said needed to move sites. I had already set up and noticed no microwave

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

February 16, 2023 In response to this review we tested the 50 amp receptacle and got a reading of 120 volts on one leg and 122 volts on the other. Tested the 30 amp receptacle and got 122 volts. We did replace the receptacle and the 50 amp breaker and will follow up with professional electrician.

Easy in and out for a quick overnight stay. Spoke with owner on phone and very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is road noise but we slept great!

Great little park. I love the access to I30. It's very convenient for an overnight on my way to Texas destinations. The staff is super friendly, too.

Nice campground with very friendly staff. Easy in and out, but a bit noisy due to traffic. However, this is a convenient place for an overnight stay.

Unfortunately this KOA is right off the highway and the highway entrance. It was very loud with traffic and train noises. It is also in pretty rough shape and could use some TLC: roads, campsites, electrical boxes, etc. I would recommend it for a quick overnight but don't plan to stay and camp outside. We never met the owners or workers so they may be very sweet, who knows?

Host knew we were going to be late, he was there long after his shift to make sure we got settled. Grounds we excellent, bath house immaculate. Very well maintained KOA

We loved the swings at the campsites. We don't like that management stacks all over-night guests in sights right next to each other. Please space out guests! Why pack them in? Freeway noise is very loud.

Thanks for your compliment! The sites in the A row where you were located are from 68 ft to 74 ft in length and every rig on that day required that much length. the other row features sites of 52 ft to 58ft, not long enough for the 6 rigs in the A row. With less demand we space them out. Thank you

Above and beyond. I needed some documents printed and the office staff were able to help a small thing but it meant I did not have to go into town and could finish my business and continue on my way. Many thanks to them.

Easy access and egress from I-30. Great long, full hook-up pull thru sites for big rigs pulling vehicles.

Just overnight but staff was very helpful and friendly. Sites were clean and well laid out. Did not use bath or laundry but walked in to check them out, very clean and appeared rather new.

I recently stayed @ KOA Campground in Texarkana, TX for 10 months., Though our my stay , the staff was very friendly, helpful & professional. They kept the campgrounds will maintain. Whenever, I had an issue the staff was quick to resolve the problem. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this campsite to anyone traveling through the Texarkana, TX area. Unlevel sites The "long" sites have steep drop-offs making it impossible to actually level anything. No fire rings. (Weird)

Our stay was in a motorhome & we were towing a jeep. When we arrived at our site, it was pretty soggy from all the recent rain. I asked if we could move to a different site & the staff was so nice & not only moved us, but also escorted us to the new site, which was a great site. Thank you!

Stayed 1 night. Nice pines. Clean & friendly. Funny high partitions between very low toilets compromises privacy.

A row were designed as short pull through sites that have been extended onto the road. If your utilities attach at the rear of the trailer, you need a Lotta hose for the sewer line. For example, you need at least 30 feet. The design is terrible. The water tap didn’t work. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom and the location is firstly, on the highway very noisy.

I specifically choose KOA whenever possible because i usually know what to count on. This location is a little old and could use some spiffing up, but I would probably stay again if it fit the time and place requirements as it did this time.

Not only was the mattress in the cabin about 1,000x better than any of those slabs of solid rock they try to pass off as a damn mattress at most hotels, it came with sheets and pillows too! Our cabin was clean, the ladies at the front desk were nice, it was overall a great place to stay. The only downside is the location, it's right next to a feeder road so you get some road noise. It would be a bigger deal for tent campers, but trailers and those like us with cabins have a bit of insulation so it wasn't terrible.
