We use this KOA as a nice, easy overnight stop while Traveling through. Gracious host, long pull thrus, FHU, and easy off and on I-30. Nice pool in season after a long driving day.

Check in wasn’t too smooth, office hours must be limited. We were left several phone messages during the day of our arrival telling us site numbers, but we were not given the code for the restroom building.

Conveniently located off highway, lots of road/highway noise is the trade off. Older gravel sites with no patio or area for fire pit. Staff not friendly.

Courteous and helpful personnel. Perfectly adequate sites for overnight stay. Laundry facilities came in handy. There was one problem that does not apply to facility, but Has to do with a fellow camper who allowed their dog to poop on our site and didn’t clean up after them. The dog pooped on our campsite and my husband stepped in it. The other Camper was in a 14. Just make u seare

Wonderful staff. Our 42’ motorhome with tow just fit the longest pull through, so if you’re 45’ & towing, you may not fit here. Pool was closed, possibly due to anticipated thunderstorms? Lots of trees prevented satellite dish use & no cable TV provided. But overall, a good overnight stay!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The site this camper was in is 67 ft long and was the only available when reservation was made. We have 6 other sites over 70 ft in length allowing 45 ft rv's towing vehicles or trailers to fit.

Easy pull through site and extremely level. Swing was a great amenity. The bath house was extremely clean. Staff rieny and helpful.

We would stay there again. It's a good overnight stay. The highway is right there and it is fairly loud and you can feel and hear the vibration but, that said, we slept well. There is a railroad track behind but I love the sound of that and no horn is necessary in that area. I had the most wonderful long, hot, shower after a long, hot, difficult day of travel. That was a gem.

I would love to give them 5 Stars but I really can’t. We were placed on the front row for 2 separate nights. The spots were easy to get in and out of and hook ups were great. The park was very clean and the managers were very nice and helpful. However, the noise coming from traffic on the ease way and Interstate was very loud. There were times I couldn’t even hear my husband talking.

This supposed KOA should come with a warning on the KOA website. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT TRAFFIC NOISE IS VERY LOAD. Plus I can’t actually believe this is a KOA any longer. We have stayed at quite a few KOAs now and this was a great disappointment. One would hopefully find a reasonable standard of maintenance to the road system and general appearance but it is definitely lacking at this campgroun

Was on the row closest to the highway. Noise was a bit loud. Site A16 was very difficult to get the rig leveled in.

Quick and easy. Paid in advance received a call while on the road giving me my campsite number. Pulled into spot hooked up , dinner and slept very well. Packed up and left the next morning. ON THE ROAD AGAIN�

Very clean park. Well maintained with decent sized sites. Only issue was noisy neighbors and their barking dogs. Dogs were often left outside alone. Some had no visible means of constraint. One neighbor had a radio show that he broadcasts from outside in a gazebo. Constantly shouting and singing.

Good overnight spot for one night. Clean bathrooms. B-19 sewer plug was completely jammed so we couldn’t hook up. A lot of road noise from I-30.

We only stayed one night on our way home after two months on the road. It is an older park with asphalt pads that are not really flat anymore. Being alongside the freeway is a little noisy but tolerable. It’s a lovely place with a pool and playground. I would have liked to see a convenience store instead of a closed art gallery but that’s me. I would stay again.

Great stay overnight. Close to the highway but the road noise at night was not bad. Fire pit and swing were nice way to relax after a long day of travel.

Very noisy location in row A. Closest to freeway and perhaps that’s where the single night folks go. Very load freeway noise. Had a power surge on the A15 pedestal that cycled much of the night trying to reset. Not sure if this was campground wide or not. Surge protector saved it.

I specifically choose KOA whenever possible because i usually know what to count on. This location is a little old and could use some spiffing up, but I would probably stay again if it fit the time and place requirements as it did this time.

Not only was the mattress in the cabin about 1,000x better than any of those slabs of solid rock they try to pass off as a damn mattress at most hotels, it came with sheets and pillows too! Our cabin was clean, the ladies at the front desk were nice, it was overall a great place to stay. The only downside is the location, it's right next to a feeder road so you get some road noise. It would be a bigger deal for tent campers, but trailers and those like us with cabins have a bit of insulation so it wasn't terrible.
