The camp sites are really nice. The employees we came in contact with were very polite, helpful, and professional. The bartenders especially.

No access to electricity but overall very nice. Also would be nice for more pickle board courts. Drink cart fun but a little expensive for camping

We camped this past weekend because our son had a travelball baseball tournament. We didn’t get to much time at the camp due to his baseball schedule, but the time we did have was AMAZING. Your staff was so sweet from check in to check out. The camp ground was clean and well kept. Our spot was very spacious. We will be coming back very soon without playing baseball to be able to enjoy everything

It was great, except for the generators running constantly from 7am -10pm. Could you please post time limits for generators????? There is no reason why a generator needs to run all day in the winter.

Loved the live music!!! Prefered our first campsite 104 but then we had to move to the back no electric and dirt but it was still fun

I'd normally go 10 and 5, however, this year was odd. The staff at check-in was a little rude, and made zero sense. We came out with a large group (45 people) and one of them had to cancel literally last minute (Wed 2/14). When one of the other group members asked to move into that spot, they were told "No, that site is out of order." How was it out of order? We were given very vague answers

Suggestion for you! Please check on the oak tree that hangs over the picnic table in spot 179. It’s dripping a decent of amount of black sap all over the picnic table.

Very nice campground with spacious sites and great views, So much to do in the surrounding Temecula area. We had wonderful day trips and enjoyed coming back to our campsite to relax and plan for the next day's outing.

Extremely friendly staff. Only suggestion is that it would be helpful to have the trash enclosures marked "Trash" We were asked twice if we knew if there was a place for trash. At that time we hadn't toured the camp, so we couldn't help.

Another great weekend with friends! You guys are great at the group holding for us, easy pay in advance, love all the activities, great staff and lovely sites! Thank you! Have not done any other KOA's, but if they are like yours, I look forward to trying them out. For now, we love Vail Lake Camping! Jennifer

First day we came in the campground taking no hot water for showering but the manager refunded us for the day. The bathroom is not heated and very cold. It looks like a reconstruction project underway.

We love this campground. We also love the patio and firepit improvements you have made to many sites in the oaks. It looks like you are expanding the cottages into the oaks. I hope you do not add any more. The addition of these units makes the campground more of a motel and ruins the campground feel. It would be nice to have some buddy sites added and more 50 amp sites in the arroyo.

The location is fantastic, secluded but not too far from various destinations. The sites are large and the area (The Oaks) was in a huge oak tree forest.

We stayed in the Chardonnay section of the campground. Being midweek the whole campground was practically empty. We hiked to part of the Vail Lake Loop trail.

Very helpful people at the desk/check in area. Clean park with nice views if you get a site on top of the hills.

Just love the way the Oaks section is being revamped, it looks so nice and we enjoyed ourselves. The new fire pits and spaces look great! We managed to get 16 people around the fire to keep warm on some cold nights. The sites were so level, we didn't need to do any leveling! That is awesome to see the work being put into making Vail Lake a campground family destination for future outings.

Had a great time despite the weather, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Found a lot of the Lots uneven and hard to level to. Also the entrance to the park lacks any kind of signage where to park and find the front office to register. I would stay here again.

Unfortunately the weekend we stayed the park has sustained rain storm damage. Back loop we stayed in had ruts, uneven ground, and mud. Rain also made many of the trails less passable. Not parks fault, just unfortunate timing with a significant storm system.

Very nice place. Need cable down in 300 section. Need wifi down in 300 section. Alcohol cart needs to run till 10 pm Friday and Saturday. The girl that did the cart 9-10 off February is really good .

This koa and dripping springs are our go to camp areas in southern cal.The staff is great,and the showers are hot.
