Wonderful place! Sites are beautifully landscaped. Onsite Pub very convenient and had great music. Close enough to drive to Key West, but none of the crazy chickens! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Liked them sending texts to inform us of events. Pool beautiful, but the music is a little too loud. Beach and great plus, as so many Resorts do not have any. Coming back in 2025!

Check-in was quick. Escorted to our site. The side for connecting the utilities was tight but manageable. Parking surface was a crushed material. Good privacy with a very nice hardscape patio that included chairs, a picnic table and fire ring. Our site was not especially quiet, being adjacent to the clubhouse patio, but quiet hours were enforced every evening. Overall, a great place to stay!

Amazing staff. Beautiful sites. Immaculate. Very spacious sites. Quiet at night. Cannot wait to come back and stay again. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

Beautiful resort. Staff are super helpful and friendly and I would give them 10 stars out of 10. Music from the pool area plays daily from 8am to 10pm and can be heard a few rows over into campground on each side of pool. This disturbed the peaceful camping environment we enjoy at other campgrounds. Also bath house showers were not great-very tight space,not much hot water and low water pressure

Great amenities and very clean. Would love a playground for kiddos though. A huge complaint is that you’re allowing outside people to come in to events like Trivia Night or bands and your guests can’t even get a seat or table because those people have taken them first. They bring their own drinks and food and don’t even pay to be there! Your bartenders are the BEST and it’s a shame that’

My husband and I very much needed a get away. Our site #1007 was PERFECT! Everyone that we ran into that worked there was super awesome. The whole resort was superb!

Love everything about this place. Wonderfully landscaped sites, amazing laundry facilities, helpful staff, Beautiful pool & pub area, the ability to book tours and be picked up onsite. Staff works hard everything is clean and well cared for.

This was our third trip to Sugarloaf KOA. Each stay a bit longer. Beautiful pool area. Enjoyed the music live & otherwise. Sites a bit tight but staff helpful upon arrival.

We stayed at Surgarloaf 9 years ago and enjoyed it. We had heard about the hurricane damaging the property and it closing to rebuild but had no idea how amazing the rebuild was making the campground into more of a resort. We can't wait to return and have booked for a month next January! The staff was as amazing as the resort and everyone was so friendly! See you again soon!

Campground is well maintained with improvements being made. Everything was in excellent shape with lots of activities. We stayed for three nights and found traveling to Key West an easy drive. Rates are higher than other KOAs but consistent with other private campgrounds in the keys.

Professional staff, amenities, and facilities are very clean/brand new. We had a great experience and will return again. Best RV park I've attended and should not be a question to book.

love it there. They would do better if they had a after dinner social time at the bar with reduced drinks from 8-9:30 pm.

First rate RV park with resort like pool and hot tub, a small but nice beach area facing the bridge at a bit of a distance. Live music or activity almost every afternoon/ evening at the poolside bar/restaurant. Casual food available. Camp sights are a good size, very well kept with lots of shrubbery providing privacy. We found it to be very quiet despite the fact that it was basically full.

Beautiful campground. Very well landscaped and maintained. Geared towards adults - all planned events are for adults. Pub onsite. For pet parents, it is not very dog friendly. Very small dog park. No green areas to walk your dogs.

We love the park! However had a mixup with our locked-in reservation. Was a lot of construction on condos that we were told were completed. Had painters spray painting porches and didn’t have plastic up and it was extremely windy. But, overall, we love the park and will be back in January, 2024.

Our camping space was nice with enough plants and trees around to make it feel like we we not too crowded. Had a little privacy and could enjoy the outdoors without being too close to others. It didn't feel like a parking lot. Thank you. We used the laundry and the machines were in great shape and did our laundry at a reasonable price. We had a great visit in the Keys!

The dog park was a joke. 80% of the dogs we saw (including ours) were a large breed (Great Danes, Labradoodles, ect) and it was nowhere near big enough for these dogs. It also smelled of urine no matter what time of day we went. Way too undersized. The sites are also way too crammed together. The pool heater was also broken for 5 or our 7 days and nothing was offered in terms of a discount.

Although the weather didn’t cooperate as well as we’d like, the park was clean, staff helpful and polite and the bonus was the cafe snack bar food. Our only disappointment would be the amount of golf cart traffic. We’ll be back next January!

The campground location is prime. Landscaping is beautiful and provides privacy to each RV spot. The public areas pool, beach, pub, marina have superior amenities. All hook ups and bathrooms are equipped with modern facilities. The entire grounds are maintained flawlessly.

Beautiful well kept resort, great service. But the biting insects (even in the middle of day) made it so we don’t want to comeback. Was at two other resorts in the southern keys where the bugs we much better.

Beautiful campsite. Nicely laid out. A little tight getting into the site 508 due to the heavy foliage surrounding it. The KOA needs to trim back the foliage a lot. Had trouble finding the sewer hookups because they were so overgrown. Pool was extremely clean and so was the hot tub. The employees there were extremely friendly and helpful. Had a pull through site. Had 3 of there employees guide me.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, but I wished we could stay longer! Beautiful camping ground with all you need. The hotel appartement is really nice, you feel like home. Microwave, dishwasher, washmaschine, tumbler, coffeemaschine... The only thing : the light from outside was shining pretty bright trough the main door. It was a bit disturbing at night...

everything is so perfect. rooms are exactly like the photos. clean, great AC, beach, pool and hot tub are immaculate. only small issue is no upsidedown pineapples. hmmm, maybe next time.
