The pool area is beautiful. The food is not great. The worst French fries and tacos I have ever had. Pancake Sundays were terrific. The sites are really small and parking is a challenge. The staff was five stars.

Beautiful, clean campground and amenities are well maintained and also very clean. Love the daily activities and music by the pool. Great pool bar! Only complaint - there are not NEARLY enough pool chairs!! People were stalking other people waiting for them to get up and leave. With all the RV's and two vacation rental buildings more pool chairs are desperately needed.

Loved our site #1024, lots of living space and easy to maneuver my 25 foot Travel Trailer into. Great bathroom facilities but we didn't use any other amenities except the dog park. Really wish that was bigger. Since there's really no good dog parks in the Key West area except for Higgs, would have been nice to have a place to throw a frisbee or ball for my Shepherd dogs to run/play/chase.

We had a great stay. The resort amenities are the best we’ve come across and staff were super friendly. We are already planning our trip to come back next year.

The landscaping is beautiful and the pool area is fantastic! I couldn't get the grandkids to leave. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

We had an amazing stay we love it there. The staff is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing but is our favorite place to stay but unfortunately we can no longer go back as they have priced us out. There is no way we can afford over $8000 a month for a camp site, I am very sad about this

Such a pretty, well laid out resort. We have a 44' 5th wheel with an extra vehicle. Had room for 5th wheel and 1 vehicle, parked truck nearby. Vegetation separating sites, all gravel, well kept. Staff extremely friendly. Great pub at the pool. Large clean hot tub. Drop off propane tanks, they'll fill and deliver back to your site! The best KOA we've been to.

Loved it. Would be nice to have 2 pools one for adults and one for children. The same with the hot tub. Not the I don't love kiddos but as an older adult it just would be nice.

as always excellent , only issue was the loud music coming form the pool. started at 3:30 am on Saturday and again at 8am on Sunday Morning. not good had LOVE lud music but not at these times.

The campground was beautiful! We felt in luxury staying here. The pool area was out of this world. Loved having a beach to swim right off of the campground. The shower houses & laundry were well kept & safe. Would stay here again & highly recommend to friends!

No-See-ems are an issue, but it’s not the campgrounds fault. Highly recommend a reduction I “Happy Hour” drink specials to encourage business at the pool side.

Beautiful RV Resort! Six night stay. Nicely landscaped to give privacy to each RV spot. Beach, marina, bar, everything first class. Staff very helpful and friendly. Already booked for two weeks next year. Only short drive down to Key West.

The staff at Sugarloaf Key KOA is fantastic. Everyone was so courteous, friendly and helpful. The facility is in excellent condition. The park was full ... but it didn't feel that way.

Wonderful amenities: music, games, food, drink, pool, and spa. Shoutout to Jim who provided direction to a fellow camper whose truck needed repair. Jim and the staff keep thus KOA in tip-top shape.

This is by far the best place in the Keys to stay. We visited several rv resorts while down there. Absolutely will stay there again! Showers were sooo clean. Lots of activities for guests.

Nicely landscaped and fairly well laid out. Sites are tight. Our door came out into the bushes so we could get back of RV off street. Could not open our awnings as trees too close. Would suggest some landscape modification or not to put 40+feet size coaches in smaller sites. Dry clean, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful pool, cafe and bar area. Lots of activities. Add water aerobics.

We love Sugarloaf! We also want to take a moment to brag on April & Mike down at the marina. They are, simply put, amazing! From their friendliness & willingness to help to just being good hearted people. We always enjoy seeing them & chatting. Do whatever it takes to hold on to employees like April & Mike because they are hard to come by & are one of the reasons we keep returning. Melisa and Josh

Had a fun time clean facility - disappointed about the fishing from campground and lack there of….got one of the mangrove spots for a kayak launch woman said you could fish from there just sea grass and marshy swamp - too shallow anyway. Guess would have liked some honesty.

We weren’t real happy with our site this time. It wasn’t really the correct size. Small and zero privacy. Also… you guys have a real problem at the pool with folks going down early and putting their towels on loungers and then not showing up until hours later to use the chairs even then not always using them but still keeping anyone else from using them. Might want to Police that a little.

Jim and Terri Landry were the very best! As well as the entire staff. Plus we really enjoyed “Exercise with Eileen” during our 11 week stay. We’ll be back.

This was our second year staying there and it is a very pretty and well kept campground and the staff are very friendly. The big downside is the no see um bugs! If you are sensitive to them it can make for a pretty unpleasant stay! Last year was a problem but we decided to try again and came armed with repellent and cream and spray for the bites but it is very much a nuisance.

The employees in the park are friendly and enjoyable to talk to! They were a highlight of the trip. The campsite was also very beautiful. You can tell a lot of effort was put in to make it a wonderful stay!

The grounds are beautiful and the pool is an oasis paradise! The employees are wonderful and go above and beyond in service, especially Randy at the bar, Deborah in the Cafe and Dave the Dogfather! We also took a sunset cruise with Captain Scott. He is very knowledgeable and it was great to leave from the KOA and not have to drive to Key West and find parking. Keep up the great job Sugarloaf KOA!

This KOA is definitely a resort. Beautiful location with gorgeous landscaping, private white sand beach, friendly staff, great pool/bar/recreation area, and fun social events.

Everyday in the Keys are PARADISE!!! This island resort has 2 beautiful new hotels with large suites to accommodate your family. Fully stocked Marina for all your fishing needs,also has boats, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, pedal carts for rent. Sandy Beach with loungers and inflatable water floats to play on. The pool is so well landscaped you wouldn't believe your in the middle of a RV resort!!!! There's a enormously large hot tub, lounge areas around gas fire pits, hammocks hidden in the beautiful lounge area to just relax in the shade and forget about everything. The Pub,Store & Cafe are great amenities and all centrally located by the pool. This is Glamping in the Island Keys!!!!

I almost don't want to review this KOA because everyone will want to go. This is an AMAZING campground. The staff work tirelessly to keep the park clean and they are all super friendly and helpful. The amenities are outstanding from the activities, rental items( boats, kayaks, bikes) to the full liquor BAR and live music. The camp store has everything if you forgot to pack something and offer quick bites to eat. The location is perfect for a quick day trip to Key West. Can't wait to go back!
