The Key West KOA/Sugarloaf Key Park is wonderful. It is beautifully landscaped and clean. The staff is friendly and there is so much to do! Loved the live music at the pool bar and the beach way lovely.

We loved the apartment. Clean and have Everything we needed for our stay. Just the dryer didn’t work but I advised the front desk.

Friendly staff, beautiful facilities/sites, and plenty of activities. Pool is bath water hot though. Enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. We had one issue with our condo due to the breaker tripping. They sent someone to check it immediately. Once they realized it would need more work they moved us to another unit without hesitation. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything needed for our stay!! We will definitely return for another visit!!

Hands down best KOA I've ever stayed at and wave been to a lot of them. The only constructive criticism I have is that you get friendly people in the marina. Everyone on site was friendly as heck except the old guy and girl working in the marina, they weren't rude but flat out unsocialble, . Also need to address that pool temperature its uncomfortably HOT and Id be willing to bet unsafe

We spent a wonderful week enjoying the beautiful campground! The staff was friendly and helpful! The pool was a little warm but the pool area is gorgeous! We can't wait to come back and bring our family! 5 Stars *****

Marina employees very helpful. Front desk lady was not. Our grill was downstairs near parking and the employees threw it away and the front desk lady chastised us for leaving it out. Suites are nice but breakers trip & couldn’t use the microwave. No events for kids like other KOAs. Grounds are well kept and very nice.

I had the Misfortune of being assigned to site 801 nice site UNTIL IT RAINS. Then it becomes a 3" deep wading pool that does not go away. Sad part KOA is very much aware of the problem but REFUSES TO FIX IT. The camp workers did their best brought in small sump pump that ran for 5hrs trying to remove the water. The manager Wendy don't care because she won't talk to a customers concerns about it.

Our stay was wayyy too brief~ we didn't want to leave! We were visiting the Keys for a wedding and I would come back to this home away from home in a heartbeat, with no reason other than to indulge and enjoy the most beautiful park we've ever stayed at. Perfect sites that are thoughtfully laid out, lush landscaping, gorgeous pool, friendly staff~ this KOA has it all as well as being near Key West!

The campsite is in top shape. Very clean; the sites are all gravel, from what I saw. The site we were on was very level. The only downside is some of the sites are flooded after heavy rain. The other con for our trip was the number of no-see-ums. My wife had over 100 bits on her legs and arms, and we tried everything, hence the "8" on whether I would recommend this location.

This was our first time to the Florida Keys. In doing research leading up to the trip we were hearing a lot of mixed messages regarding The Florida Keys so honestly, we were going in with the idea that this was going to be a one and done trip, and we would never visit again, but much to our surprise this was one of our best trips and large part because of the KOA. This KOA is the BEST out there!!!

Awesome place. Excellent maintenance. The people that work at Sugarloaf Key West KOA are so special. My wife and I recommended this 5 start resort.

An amazing place in every way! Remarkable helpful staff, great facilities and thoughtful beautiful, landscaping. And if that was not enough, I caught my first tarpon fishing out front in my kayak! Thanks to everyone for a fine vacation!

We have traveled all over the county and stayed at many KOA sites. This one is by far our favorite...The pool and bar area is beyond nice !

This is, hands down, the nicest, friendliest, most efficient KOA I have ever stayed in. EVERY employee we came in contact with was pleasant and helpful. If I had to find something to improve it would be the pool and bar furnitures lack of padding. Now if I didn't have such a boney butt it wouldn't be an issue. I love the place!

The resort is absolutely amazing! My three issue are personal to me and because of them, we will not be coming back. 1. The Noseeums are unbearable. nothing worked! 2. The current at the boat dock are extremely strong, making it very difficult to dock. To the point that we didn't even want to take the boat out! 3. The site is deep in the keys and nothing around here without driving 20 plus min.

Staff members are awesome and a pleasure to chat with. That goes for all the workers, very informative information passed along to me. The hotel rooms could use a little improving: fans, dresser, fridge doors opening in right directions, and oven. We stayed in the RV which the landscaping was beyond belief! The pool could use a chiller was just as warm as the spa. Overall excellent stay/staff

This place is super clean and has beautiful landscaping. All employees are very nice and helpful. Only bad thing was the no see ums. People mentioned they were bad at dusk. We were eaten alive from sun up til after dark. Ruined our stay and the rest of our vacation. Couldn’t enjoy the stay at KOA and spent the rest of our vacation itching and scratching. We each have at least 150 bites on us.

There was no hot water in our shower. The dryer did not work. It was very hot in the rooms as there was no celling fans. They gave us the wrong wifi password. Their after hours number did not work as nobody answered it.

We loved the staff was super friendly, bathrooms were clean for the most part, but not having any natural shades on the tent sites makes it impossible to stay with so much heat, I also didn’t like the amount of mosquitos, maybe they could spray more often to avoid having so many. I would also suggest that the cafe area could have a full menu so people can enjoy fresh fish

Thank you for the compliments on our staff who work very hard every day. You will be happy to know we have plans this summer to install eco shade structures at the tent area which should greatly help during the hot summer days.

What an amazing campground! I would highly recommend this campground as a destination spot in the lower keys. The staff was awesome and the campground experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay here on future trips!

Stayed over 4th of July weekend. Like always staff if nice and ready to help . Rest rooms are always clean. Can't wait till our next stay!

where are camper was when it rained it flooded we had about 2-3 inches of rain, however the next day it did run off there were other lots that were in the same boat. Also, spraying for bugs. The bugs were so bad we couldn't even eat outside. It was so nice and clean we will be coming back for sure. The people were wonderful. Wish there were steps to the bridge it used to have a cut out.

We really enjoyed all of the lush and colorful landscaping that was in place between the sites. It made up for the sites being so close together and a little bit on the small side. It was definitely a very clean park throughout. I appreciate that they sent someone over to check the pool when it started to get crowded.

April and Mike down at the Marina were simply amazing! They made our stay!! They both were always so kind and helpful. We look forward to our return next March and seeing them both again!

The place is beautiful!! It is clean sites are clean pool area clean. The only issue is the only grass there is is outside the park. Also the mosquitos are unbearable I have Uber 100 bites I’m me I will return if they get a fumigation system to do the park and the dog area and grass areas right outside the park . You can’t even enjoy the evening because of the mosquitos!!!!!

4 night stay in RV.. Enjoyable stay. Nice amenities. Good location to Key West. Beach not as pretty as pictures represent but fortunately other beach options are close by. Wish there were better options for groceries locally.

We stayed at a beautiful waterfront campsite. The beach sand was groomed every morning. Grounds were beautiful. Beach is rocky. The showers were pristine. The hot tub was big enough to swim in. I gave 4 stars because the food was just alright. I expected better food selections and quality. 3/4 bartenders were friendly- one was not. The marina workers were very helpful/ friendly! City bus great!

We had a very wonderful stay this June (2023)! We have been camping as a family for over 3 decades and I can honestly say that this campground is in our top 3 of the 60 plus places we've camped. It is outstanding how the entire campground has been refurbished in the past year or so. This campground has everything you could want on site and if you need more you can find it within a couple of miles

Everyday in the Keys are PARADISE!!! This island resort has 2 beautiful new hotels with large suites to accommodate your family. Fully stocked Marina for all your fishing needs,also has boats, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, pedal carts for rent. Sandy Beach with loungers and inflatable water floats to play on. The pool is so well landscaped you wouldn't believe your in the middle of a RV resort!!!! There's a enormously large hot tub, lounge areas around gas fire pits, hammocks hidden in the beautiful lounge area to just relax in the shade and forget about everything. The Pub,Store & Cafe are great amenities and all centrally located by the pool. This is Glamping in the Island Keys!!!!

I almost don't want to review this KOA because everyone will want to go. This is an AMAZING campground. The staff work tirelessly to keep the park clean and they are all super friendly and helpful. The amenities are outstanding from the activities, rental items( boats, kayaks, bikes) to the full liquor BAR and live music. The camp store has everything if you forgot to pack something and offer quick bites to eat. The location is perfect for a quick day trip to Key West. Can't wait to go back!
