Love the text messaging before/after your stay. Great staff here, always working with a smile. Great location on the river even though we couldn’t take advantage this time. They were quick to fix our internet problem. Sites were well maintained and lots of different options. More washrooms would be nice - the combo washrooms/shower meant no washroom access at times if 2 people were showering.

Difficult to find using WAZE navigation enter address not business name. Nice place although there is some renovations and new sites being added. Only stopped for the night so note to enjoy the amenities

Enjoy the hospitality of the hosts. This is our second stay at this welcoming KOA and we will be back! It is so peaceful and the river is fantastic to camp along!

Very Friendly welcoming staff! Clean, beautiful small campground with seasonal campers wiper snipering lawns ! Great for an overnight stop! We are hikers and Mt bikers. The lack of trail and things to do made us move on. Thank you

We absolutely love this campground and the family that runs it. Very welcoming and friendly. Our site was very nice and spacious but needs to be more leveled as it took us a bit to level our camper out. Also the site beside us has a seasonal or rental camper which people were at on the wknd leaving a cluster of vehicles around our camper making it very hard to hook up in the morning.

Pricey for overnight stay. Really liked that the campground used texts to communicate. Friendly check-in. Located on Sturgeon River with boat launch, beach and waterfront deck (we did not use). Trees, so there is some shade. Our site was close to neighbour, we could watch their TV. Lots of mosquitoes swarming in the morning.

Thank you for your feedback! You were in a back-in 50 amp patio site, unfortunately as you booked 3 days in advance that is all we had available. We do have cheaper options normally, however we were full that day. If you decide to come back we will make sure we get you into a more suitable site.

Amazing site…. Likely the most value for money in any campground we’ve ever stayed at. That includes East as far as Halifax and South as far as Key West…..

It was a little unsettling to see firewood being delivered to individual sites and seeing several campfires especially when the campground is within the Provincial Fire Ban area as of June 1. I find this kind of behavior reckless and unacceptable especially when there are already active fires in the area.

We completely understand your concern. There are exceptions to fire bans which we fall under. Even though we could still be selling firewood and allowing campfires within certain criteria we have ceased allowing fires as of June 3rd because I share your opinion. Thank you for your comment!

Wow! What a great stay we had. The Demers family are amazing. From the time we checked in until checkout customer service is evident. A special shout out to Jesse the general manager. Jessie was very helpful in guiding us choosing things to do. KOA and the town of Sturgeon Falls should be proud of this Facility!

Beautiful area, clean facilities. Owners were very friendly & helpful. Many sites are right on the water. Easy access to the Trans-Can Hwy. Wish we could have stayed there longer!

This KOA is like coming home when you go there. Everyone is so friendly and great to interact with. The Campground itself is always tidy and everything seems well organized. New owners here and l am fully confident the atmosphere here will remain just as welcoming as ever. Can't wait to get back again.

We arrived late but were still welcomed and directed to our site, which was perfectly level and easy to access. Great little campsite on the river - friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return!

We only stayed one night, but it's the sort of place you could stay longer. Very well maintained campground. The restrooms were of a very high standard. Picturesque location, part on the Sturgeon River, part on a small inlet just off it. We were right on the water and it was beautiful. No traffic or train noise - tranquil! There's a nice little beach area, with a dock and water slide into the river. We were probably a couple of weeks late, temperature wise, or we would definitely have tried it out!
