We love staying here. We have been repeat visitors for a few years now with friends. Our one dislike is the new $59.99 rate to lock in your site. We understand there may need to be a charge and in years past we have paid far less. We just tying this rate is a little extreme.

Facility good, staff so so. Arrive,gate down. Staff says use key card. Told him I was arriving, went in office to open gate. Advised me to pull forward to register sign. Registering gave clerk my confirmation. Problem finding Res. Problem due to exp. date change on CC. 3rd staff stops reg process tells me to move for new arrivals. Advised WIFI, no cable, find cable hookup at site. Frustrating!

We had a great time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Grandkids had fun with the water gun event. Only concern is the firewood is hard to get going. We weren't the only ones having issues.

This was our first weekend camping as a family of 4 with our 3 yo son and 9 week old daughter. We wanted to go somewhere semi-local and easy to get to and from. Strafford KOA was exactly that! Nice family friendly campground that provided an easy relaxing weekend getaway. We will be back for sure!

All good and comfortable. I recommend though that the pool patio deck be weeded and swept. There was quite a bit of sand on the pavers areas which wound up on the lounge chairs. Best to you.

The site was very small and close to the other site. We were charged an extra 10.00 a day for our puppy which WE cleaned up after.. Then charged 9.99 a day for a resort amenity fee for splash pad and pool which we didn't use as we are in our 70's. They should give wrist bands to the people who want to use the pools and charge them accordingly. We won't be going back. Nice for kids

First time travelers to New Hampshire and Massachusetts and found the area to be very educational. We are planning another trip in the future.

The place is beautiful, but it seem like they had kids running it!! They messed up our bill quite a bit but the place was really nice!! The pool area could be spruced up a little bit maybe with some flowers!!

We had a terrible time with communication of the front desk staff members, we were told we could move our site to a next store travel trailer site, got to the new site completely set up then was called on personal phone to be told be move back to old site. We usually love KOAs and have been to this Stafford location numerous times, but this incident has put an extremely negative perspective!

The Stafford KOA seems to have gone downhill. It was dirty, not well maintained and there was an awful smell throughout the campground. We will not be returning. Also, the price was way to high for the quality of our stay.

Awesome campground, but location is far from Lake Winnipesaukee and the sites are not very level. Lots of privacy and plenty of room for the sites.

This was our second time here. Excellent experience both times. Pool and water slide are super fun. Love the lake vibe. Playground is great. Staff is very friendly. Thirty minutes from Alton Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee where we did some stand up Paddleboarding, mini golfed, had a great lunch, and also ice cream!

We stayed for a week over July 4th. 1st half pouring rain, second half crazy hot & humid. The vast majority of campers were friendly & courteous. 1 tenting family was atrocious- loud, trash & belongings strewn all over. The KOA staff are helpful and attentive. They even reacted immediately to a camper near us setting off loud fireworks (not allowed at campground). Grounds & bathroom were clean!

Poor, unlevel campsite assigned to us at checking. Many level sites were unoccupied.

The staff was very friendly, the pool and water slide was exceptionally clean and the bathrooms were clean considering all of the rain we had. We had an amazing time and look forward to returning.

It was an AMAZING experience, my family and I are planning to come back next year! The staff were INCREDIBLE I really appreciate everything they did for us! They went ABOVE and BEYOND and made this camping trip one of the BEST trips that I'll always Remember. 100% will recommend to friends and family members to come and explore your ADVENTUROUS Koa! It rained most of the time when we were there; however, the heated pool and arcade provided entertainment. The sites were fairly spacious and the area was kept clean.

The campground was well maintained and staff was friendly. The reason I’m giving this a 4 is I didn’t feel like there was too much to do there. The water amenities were fun but nothing to do if it rained or you didn’t want to swim. I would still recommend this campground but would like to see more activities.

We had a very nice stay. Staff and other campers were courteous. Our site was clean and spacious. Plenty of amenities and fun programming for the visiting grandkids to enjoy too!. We will defiinitely return to this campground.

We loved our site very much but both my husband and I got sick from the raw sewerage smell that was pretty much continuous at our site and the surrounding sites. We became ill with headaches, coughing, eye irritation, sneezing and we could not sleep last night. Its too bad because we have stayed with you several times and this is the very first time this has happened.

Have kids? This place is great - lots for them to do. If you're two older adults who rely on the campground's wifi to work on the road, forget this place. They say they have wifi, but it's really a hotspot and does not work AT ALL. Management didn't seem to care when we complained. Also, the roads throughout are dirt and the lots barely have any gravel in them - not to our standards.

Nature trail was well maintained. Pool and beach area were a hit with the kids, as well as the arcade. Tons of activities to do on the water and plenty of areas to fish around the lake. Staff were all pleasant to chat with. We had a great stay!

The weather did not cooperate for us but when it did, the slide at the pool was closed :0( Being the start of the 4th of July week, and paying prime rates for our site, we expected more. When asked, we were told "the weather" and "scheduling" ... This is our second stay here - the layout of the grounds are very nice and everyone is very friendly

Must give credit where credit is due. There were a lot of problems last year. This year, they have addressed all of their shortcomings and the location is thriving! Adequate, friendly and competent staff. Later store hours. Clean/working water slide. Well cared for grounds. New golf carts and cabins. Our family had a blast, well done Strafford team!

We had a wonderful stay. The amenities and activities kept my kids happy and busy. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed completing the arts and crafts activities just wish there was a little more instruction. We were able to afford to stay because of the Black Friday special, we hope they offer that again.

We had a really great time !! Next time we'll use the pull through with our RV. This is one of the best KOA's for a family, there's so much for the kids to do. We'll be back!!

It was great! We already booked a return trip next summer. I wish you had more Strafford KOA mugs and stuff! We usually get mugs and stickers from every KOA we stay at.

The campground is clean and very welcoming. My kids had a blast even though it rained most of the day Saturday. Our site was big and private and well maintained. I personally enjoyed the walking trails for my dogs while my kids LOVED the water slide, the pond and riding their bikes all over.

The lot was very uneven and small for what we paid for. We have a smallish camper, however I get a premium lot because I like the room. Our camper had to be put on the middle of the site to be level. The site was supposed to have a patio and fire pit, which was useless, as it was about 5 feet in length and width. I did speak to the manager about how unhappy we were with our site.

This was our third year back. Our site was clean. The managers, supervisors and employees are helpful and knowledgeable. The bath house near site 129 needed to be cleaned more frequently. The screen door needs to be repaired so bugs don't get in. A tv channel guide would be very helpful, it was not available to the campers. All in all, I would recommend this campground. We will be back!

No real issues with the stay, would return.Restrooms clean, but did notice a napkin that was on one of the floors outside a shower stall was there for the length of the 3 night stay, which indicates it was never checked for cleanliness.Somewhat confused with the “amenities charge” of $9.99 a night.Amenities nice, but if no young children, the small water park and nice playground not used.

We spent several days here at the end of September. Lovely site, very quiet (especially during the week). Incredibly friendly and helpful staff (including Caleb, Jay, Marvin, and Haley). Quick walk from our site to very clean bathrooms, easily accessible showers. I think you may be closer to the Seacoast than Lake Winnie but that's less relevant. This is a great spot for just relaxing if you're trying to escape the rest of the world for a while. (FYI, Door Dash delivered some Pizza Hut from Rochester. We met them at the front gate, but it definitely saves a ride into Rochester.)

This KOA is ideally situated and offers a variety of accommodations. The grounds are clean and well-appointed. There is a pool, playground, basketball courts and a pond. Paddle boats, kayaks, and canoes are available for a fee and in good condition. We stayed for a week and enjoyed it very much. It was located within driving distance of Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts. We would have spent more time exploring and relaxing at the KOA if not for our travel itinerary. I recommend this place to anyone traveling through the Granite State. Check it out!
