Campground Cancellation Guideline

Campground Specific Cancellation Policy

Need to cancel?  Please call the campground before the deadlines listed here to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee.   E-mail notifications of cancellations are not acceptable.  Deposits on extended stays are non-refundable.

RV Sites: If the reservation is cancelled prior to 7 days, the deposit is refunded except a $20.00 cancellation fee. If the reservation is cancelled within 7 days of the arrival date, reservations are subject to a cancellation fee of the first night stay plus tax deposit.

RV Sites on Holiday Dates (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, etc.):  If reservation is cancelled prior to fourteen (14) days of the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded except a $20.00 cancellation fee.  If cancellation is within fourteen (14) days of the arrival date, reservations are subject to a cancellation fee of the first night stay plus tax deposit.

Lodging Accommodations: If the reservation is cancelled prior to 14 days of the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded except a $20.00 cancellation fee. If the reservation is cancelled within 14 days of the arrival date, reservations are subject to a cancellation fee of the first night stay plus tax deposit.  

Lodging Accommodation on Holiday Dates (Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day):  If reservation is cancelled prior to thirty (30) days of the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded except a $20.00 cancellation fee. If the reservation is cancelled within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, reservations are subject to a cancellation fee of the first night stay plus tax deposit.  

National Cancellation Guideline

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Deadlines:

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.

Cancellation Details:

  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  • Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  • No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  • The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  • Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
