This was a wonderful campground! Tons of amenities! Convenient location to town and restaurants! We stayed in a lux cabin which was absolutely perfect for our family of 4! We will definitely be back!

We liked it a lot! Only small complaint was that a few of the employees drive around like they are on a power trip. But overall, great experience.

Convenient location to Steamboat Springs. One evening we took the free shuttle into town and back. Very easy to use - maybe 15 or 20 min at most into town. Although this campground serves many people, I never found it too crowded to use the many leisure facilities - swimming pool, horseshoes, miniature golf and non-motorized go-cart/bikes for the kids. The employees were very helpful!

1st time there. Was disappointed due to very few Jeep roads nearby. For the price of each nite stay, may I suggest you not charge for the coffee in the office. You are the first campground where it’s not complimentary.

A very attractive and well maintained campground. The roads and RV parking pads are asphalt and easily navigated. The Deluxe Patio sites are narrow but have nice concrete patios with table & chairs, gas grill and fire pit. The new island area does not have any shade but the older area has nice shade. Got bit by a Rottweiler mix dog while talking to its owner. If there ARE breed restrictions, they are not enforced. I left afterwards, paid for 2 nights, stayed one.

Loved this KOA. We’ve been coming for years. People are phenomenal, location unparalleled. Biggest issue with this campsite is that the bathrooms are marginal.

Exceptional campground!! Fastest WI-FI of any of our KOA stays in the past 6 years!!!!! Conveniently located to all the sites in the area. Hoping to return in the near future.

Nice park with a friendly staff however the sites are uncomfortably close to each other. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. The laundry is small for the size of the campground. The internet connectivity up and down but reasonable for a mountain town. The $27 fee to check in 45 minutes early is ridiculous (unless refunds for early checkout are provided.)

Friendly staff and easy to get to. Great access to town and other activities. We arrived late and they called to confirm we were coming as well as helping us have firewood available when we arrived. Even though we arrived late someone happened to be around to show us where we were going.

It was a nice place to stay in most ways. Location was good and it is family friendly. HOWEVER my husband went to empty our tanks at the end of our stay and the dump station was filthy. He had to stand in fetid water to connect hoses. He said it was not only disgusting, but a health hazard. Sewage had puddled. ADVICE: DO NOT DUMP THERE UNLESS YOU CHECK IT FIRST FOR SAFETY AND CLEANLINESS!!

We had a great time relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The Yampa River is beautiful. Our dog loved walking in the shallow parts.

We had a great stay. Kids loved the golf, bingo and glowsticks! We did have a neighbor that had their tacklebox stolen from their site though.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff, loved the Friday night movie and popcorn, thanks for letting the dog watch, too. Very quiet at night. Clean facilities.

The location is great and the sites are wonderful. They're still working on more trees. They insist you have an escort to your site, but they make you wait in your car after you check in while escorts sit and watch. They also insist you wait until 200 PM to check in because the site isn't cleaned. But miraculously for an extra $25 your site is ready.

I called twice and explained our setup to make sure they could accommodate us and we’re told both times there would be no issues. Ended up not getting an electric site, slept next to the freeway, froze all night and left a day early. Not a good experience.

Had a spot issue which the assistant manager resolved. Also only KOA which I have visited or are booked to visit that has a 5 dollar a day fee for a dog. The dog play area should be three times the size foe that fee. My 20 dollar fee paid for bags for 2 months.

This was one of the best KOA's we've been to. The camp host were very kind & knowledgeable. We stayed in a small cabin with an excellent view of the river. During our stay we floated on our tubes down the river, utilized the free bus ride back..drove into the town, only 5 min away...and drove up to Strawberry Hot Springs, which was amazing! We will definitely recommend this place ��

We loved staying there. We were suppose to change spots once during our stay because we booked last minute. With our trailer being so long and hard to move around, they moved everything around so that we could stay in one spot. They also helped accommodate us when it was time to leave to get our big trailer out. They were very friendly and AWESOME to work with. Thank you Lori for everything!!!

We normally tent camp but we rented a fancy cabin this time and it was amazing! We love KOA and all they have to offer. Staff was super nice and accommodating, grounds were well kept and we just loved the river access.

If it wasn't for ONE THING, I would rate this KOA five stars all the way. We had a great fairly spacious site, the staff was exceptionally friendly, the river was lovely. BUT. They charge $5/dog/day. In an RV site. WHY?!? It's not like the dogs can harm anything or use "amenities". It makes no sense and made our $69 site and $85 site for no reason. REALLY stupid policy.

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
