My normally nice KOA in Steamboat has lost its charm. While the campground and facilities were all good and very nice, the staff hovered over our camp making sure to keep us in-line with all rules and regulations. Things like "pull your truck in closer " when I had just arrived. "Keep that dog on a leash" when she was sitting in my lap". I camp to get away - not to be monitored.

We liked our campsite. Would recommend you mention campsite privacy and discourage walking through other campers site. Also cleaning roadways from loose rock and gravel. The section we were in as paved and clean. Thank you

Friendly staff. Clean and convenient amenities. It’s just cramped and crowded. My “beautiful Colorado mountain view” was just staring at the trailers 8 feet to my left, right, front, and back. Lots of dogs. Some highway noise, which was definitively noticeable.

The staff really takes pride in the place, making sure it's clean and well-kept. One of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed in. A ton of things to do, especially for kids.

I was consistently harassed by an old white man who works there constantly driving around on a golf cart. I paid almost $500 to stay here over the holiday weekend and it was so boring at this location. Their dog run is a mud pit and I ruined a new pair of $100 shoes. The bridge that only allows for one car to pass despite cars coming from both directions is really, really stupid. Do not recommend

We were in a small motorhome with no tow vehicle. We absolutely loved the fact that the free shuttle offered by steamboat springs allowed us to go downtown and have an enjoyable dinner

It is a beautiful camping area. I love the fact that the shower house was not the only bathrooms on the property. Very clean. Friendly office personnel. I am sure we will be back.

Everyone was very nice and very helpful.It would have been perfect except for the K9 camp. It was tiny, swampy and muddy. Not big enough for dogs to run. Since I hear you are redoing it I would suggest looking at KOA Billings camp K9- I will continue to go there just for the dog park.

We stayed in the back portion of the KOA, which had great cement pads and were not super crowded together, like the front portion. Being near the stream was cool, too.

Our host was very friendly and helpful. Our site was very muddy at the hookup area. The highway is pretty noisy and we were able to hear the large trucks through the night.

This KOA is NOT worth the increase in cost. oh-boy-- they expand the 'bigboy' sites, and then gain the 'Holiday' designation--- nothing changed for the rest of the property. We've stayed there for the past 3-4 years, and thought that it was worth it, the fee bus to town and all, but that's changed, and we will be re thinking our May 'weekend' destination -- there's plenty others out there!

The owners have invested and expect a good ROI. The place is just amazing !!! You got new sites, new asphalt, great restrooms, amazing rental cabins and mini homes. The stream and location is perfect !!! Relax and enjoy !!!

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
