It’s not the fault of the campground that the levee broke. That being said, there were no other amenities. There was a small ru down playground that sis not look like it was in usable condition. This koa was more like a Journey than Holiday. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights and left after one.

Randy was nice. A lot of sites. Got in late and he took care of us. Lake is basically empty now but w good winter rains should be even nicer.

This is like a base camp for us. Randy the camp host is always professional, friendly, and helpful. The grounds are well kept, bathhouse is clean. Great campground for extended or just a couple of days.

Basic. Fine for 1 night. Easy access from/to US82 on County Lake Rd (IF you don't miss the turn) - but far enough away so NO traffic noise. Quiet with wide lots - but maybe appeared so because it was only 1/2 full in the off-season. POOR wifi - despite the manager's assurance that he/his wife got online without any problem. Roku TV rated the signal "poor" - so couldn't stream anything.

We love this campground. Setting is very park like, close to all things to do. And management is accommodating and friendly.

Randy is awesome with managing StRkville KOA. We arrived early and Randy got use checked immediately. Bathrooms were spoess and well maintained. Randy called to inform us we had accidentally left our campsite flag and he was holding it for us.

Site was fine for our intransit overnight. The lake potential looked interesting but was empty & overgrown with brush. Staff said they waited repair if the dam, refilling & restocking …. Until then it is really average but the pads & hookups were in very good condition.

I normally ding pretty heavily for poor Wi-Fi, but in this case, I just can’t. This KOA was immaculate, Randy was outstanding, and I would go back anytime I’m in the area.

Great place to stay. Clean restrooms and grounds. Just make sure that you call ahead and reserve a spot on dates that a football game is being played because they sell out completely!

Stayed one night. Lovely quiet park. If not completely self contained or just chose to use the park restrooms/showers, take note to request a space close to those areas or it can be a long walk. “Randy” the current manager is a very friendly and helpful person. Would definitely stay again if I’m the area. “Water park” was not open as the lake was drained this time of year.

Grounds are always well kept, fire pits are cleaned out. Randy and the team are always helpful and accomodating.

Satisfied with our RV spot. Noted many trees with dead limbs/tops that could damage RVs. Cabins in need of attention also. Will come back but do not want to be in spots with dead limbs/tree tops.

This is the best KOA we have ever stayed in. Very well maintained. Very nice to have level concrete pad. Randy was very attentive, pleasant, and courteous at check in. Would definitely stay here again.

Quite, well maintained campground. Randy the camp host was most hospitable and made our stay very enjoyable. Got to see the 2 eagles fly across the old lake bed to their nest.

Randy was just super!! I was on the road two hours away and called, but couldn’t talk right then. Randy called me back and set me up at a campsite for the night! My number showed up as I camped there a week ago. To me that was going beyond kind!!! Thanks Randy!!

Last minute call for a reservation. Gentleman was extremely nice and helpful. Told me to head on over and he would have everything ready by the time I got there...that was a blessing. We used the laundry and showers. All was very clean and well maintained. Next time I know I'm going to be anywhere close to Starkville, I will book a reservation for sure.

This was our first stay and we had a great weekend with wonderful weather. Randy and staff were quick to take care of a breaker that had gone out so that we were powered up and ready.

We arrived later than we expected, but Randy had our campsite information waiting for us. As we were getting set up (in the rain no less), he stopped by our site to make sure everything was what we expected and asked if there was anything he could help us with. We have stayed here twice, in different camping spots, in a travel trailer. We will stay here again soon.

We definitely enjoyed our visit to this KOA and Randy is great to help and make sure we have what we need. My only issue was when we were trying to make the reservation I almost didn’t go there because the reservation sight is misleading. I finally called only because it said partial availability. I understand the reason with football season but if it just said call for reservations.

The reservation process was simple thanks to Randy, the manager on site! He made himself available if needed at all and checked out as several times throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. And that it was! The deluxe cabins were clean, cozy and well equipped with everything we needed! The firewood on site allowed us to build campfires each night, and have s'mores and make memories with our grands and children! The campground was quiet, clean, and well-maintained! We will definitely be back as soon as we can get there
