Someone was in our site. But they did everything to make us happy with the site we got. They were very nice and helpful in everything and tell us a nice place for dinner. Nice stay over. But the lake was dried up. I would stay again if we go that way again.

Everything was amazing and cozy. I loved the screened porch and swing outside. The staff was amazing as well and work with me to make sure I had the best stay.

The campground is nice. But the lake has been dry for over three years. The pictures show a beautiful place to relax with waterslides and fishing and swimming, but the lake has been dry for over three years. When I called to make reservations, I asked about the water level and was told the water was low because of the lack of ran..but the lake has been dry for over three years!!!!! Never again!!

Quiet, peaceful,serene. Workers were excellent, kind and considerate. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay again when in the area. It would be much nicer to look out over some water than a dry, weedy, crusted lake bed with water slides landing on dirt...they have no trespassing signs posted around everything leading to the lake bed and the wooden pier is roped off. Nights are great!

As we heard it may be out of their control, but the lake they sit on is dried up. No beach. No water park. Whole park seems in need of attention. Felt more like a going-out-of-business campground. Never even stepped foot in the office. Wish all KOA offices stayed open until at least 7:00. Many stay open til 8:00 & it’s much appreciated. We’ll just stay elsewhere next time. Sorry about your lak

The staff here was phenomenal and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable! We stayed in one of the cabins, which was in perfect order and very clean. The playground area was tidy and shaded, but it would have been nice to have a bit more equipment or a pool since the water park area is out of service (not KOA's fault). Hoping the issue is resolved soon so this KOA can be enjoyed fully.

This was just an overnight stop for us so it was perfect. I wouldn’t want to stay any longer than that as all the amenities aren’t available. The walking bridge is closed, the “lake” more like a swamp isn’t full, the docks nor the water slide meet the water, therefore unusable. Easy pull thru sites, clean sites, didn’t visit the bathhouse.

The Lake has lost a lot of water . Not their fault. The park is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTFUL ! Great shade huge trees with a park like atmosphere.. VERY WELL KEPT!

This was my first KOA experience (I am a new camper). I enjoyed the stay, however, It was a bit soggy as the area between the sites tend to pool water. But overall it was nice. I hope the county lake returns, I know this was no fault to the franchisee, and you can tell this was a fun park before the levee failed.

The restrooms were immaculate! The staff super friendly! The park in all was wet but very clean and maintained. The slides were down due to repairs on the lake. The only thing missing was a swimming pool to cool off in! I highly recommend this KOA!

Staff was great, but that’s the only nice thing about the site. It sits on an abandoned lake that’s full of weeds. The grounds are very swampy when it rains and does not drain well so you have to stay on the gravel everywhere you go. Not much to do especially for a family.

AMAZING campground! Absolutely wonderful staff. Stayed here 9 months for work. Super clean showers and laundry room. Close to Starkville attractions and stores

The sites are nice and roomy, and the grounds are well-kept. Staff was helpful. BUT … the lake was drained a couple years ago (some political reason/excuse for not fixing the problem) and is overgrown with trees and shrubs. No water activities. Fishing is always a big attraction for us. No laundry facilities. Bath houses were hot but clean. A little disappointing for a KOA.

Hard to navigate for a bigger rig, almost impossible with a 45 footer. WiFi…virtually, non existent … we were pretty close the Main Hub and the park was at 20% occupancy. Very pretty setting, and off the beaten path. I’m 50/50 on this rating. I work full time from the RV and I only need minimal up and downloads speeds…. The speed test on the WiFi, errored out at 0.00 mbs

Staff was friendly and we had a spacious pull thru site overlooking the lake! We also loved Starkville and visiting the MSU campus.

I stayed in the couples cabin and was very satisfied. It was clean, organized, and exactly what I expected. The park was quiet and peaceful. The only negative aspect was the WiFi. It was not strong and cut in and out constantly. It wasn’t that big of a deal because I didn’t come to the cabin for the WiFi. I would definitely stay there again!

People were very loud at night, which made it difficult for me to go to sleep. My baby also woke up due to the noises.

Facilities were very clean, just as they always are. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Only issue that was bothersome was that the campsite does not drain well. Our site was in a low area and with all of the excessive rains we have had recently, water was standing in most places around our camp site. We will for sure stay here again, but it will be on another site.

Nice, quiet rv park. Park manager Randy is very accommodating, friendy. Big rig friendly up to 70 ft.

The reservation process was simple thanks to Randy, the manager on site! He made himself available if needed at all and checked out as several times throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. And that it was! The deluxe cabins were clean, cozy and well equipped with everything we needed! The firewood on site allowed us to build campfires each night, and have s'mores and make memories with our grands and children! The campground was quiet, clean, and well-maintained! We will definitely be back as soon as we can get there
