Staff was so nice and the bathrooms were so clean and nice! Beautiful place to camp! If I’m ever back in Starkville I will stay again!

Not a 5 star but a good stop, I think the sites need a little TLC and some including ours were flooded nearly impossible to plug in to electrical when the pedestal is surrounded by water, several other sites were fine including the empty site next to us. Maybe they could consider this after heavy rains, perhaps put people in dry sites that are available. I think the roads could use some extra TLC

We stayed in the deluxe cabin on our way to gulf shores with two grandchildren. It was incredible! Right on the lake. Beautiful sunset and beautiful sunrise! The cabin was clean, well equipped and spacious. Wished we would’ve had more time this was a beautiful KOA.

This was one of the best camp grounds I have ever stayed at. The spots were very easy to access. The sit has an amazing view of the lake. The safe was friendly and helpful. We will be back again!

No wifi anywhere in camp! Wasn't escorted to spot. Definitely not what we were used to. Cable wasn't the best luckily it was just a 1 night stop!

There was nothing from my email that told me what spot we were in. Called & no answer because after hours & no contact info. I went to door & found no info., apparently there was a box I didn't see that had info in there. We eventually just "picked" a spot & happened to be the rt 1 after she called & chewed me out the next day for not chkg box I knew nothing about! App. this is the way of KOA!

Site P3.The ground around the electrical connection, water, and sewer dump had 4 inches of standing water. It could use some gravel around it to keep from having to stand on it when hooking up.

It was really quiet. The bathrooms were clean. Showers had hot water. We didn’t see any staff because we came in late. We left at check out time.

We were upgraded to a pull through site because of the recent rains they had. That was very considerate. We liked the nature all around. The county needs to fix the levee so the lake can fill to it's full potential. We stayed there in early March so things hadn't started blooming and leafing out. I bet it's pretty in late spring, summer and autumn! The staff were very friendly.

We had a very nice overnight stay, the sunset was beautiful! Facilities were very clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to the area.

Just stopped for an overnight. Pleasantly surprised. It was clean, quiet, decent size level sites. Park is next to a lake (closed when we stayed). We were even able to see some night sky. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

If You ever want to get out and enjoy a spectacular view then you have to come and stay at KOA. I had the privilege of staying for six months. I enjoyed so very much, hearing the geese come over in the afternoons and mornings and enjoying a sunset that is timeless. The office closes early, but campground is open all year. Paperwork was left for me in the box and I headed to my nice pullthru. Everything you need is in town. This campground looks like it would be fun in the summer with 2 huge slides into the lake and a playground. Really big campground, bathrooms were clean. Wish I had time to see more of the area. Will be back if I head down that way again.

It was very muddy and wet, but not the host's fault. It was an unusually cold and wet day. Storms had just moved through.

We have stayed here several times and like it. It is far away from the main road so there isn't much road noise, and there is lots of shade and free firewood. The sites are close together though, and it is swampy if there is lots of rain. Internet and phone coverage is poor. Very friendly staff. Overall, a good place to stay.

There is a lot of potential at this location, but the issue with the lake has a negative impact that is no fault to the owner. They have done their part by investing in their campground and just need the county to do their part in fixing the dam. Regardless, we will be back and had a great stay! The employees were very friendly and WiFi worked fine for us to use our Roku TVs.

This is one of the best KOAs we have stayed as it is nice, wooded, and far from any busy road. The hosts are friendly too. I ranked it as 4 stars since the campground WiFi and cell phone coverage is poor (StraightTalk). We were going to stay a week but opted to go to the COE campground after 2 nights where we had good cell coverage.

Debbie and the staff at this KOA were very helpful and great hostess . They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. If I had to give one negative, it would be only 1 dumpster for trash and it was all the way at the entrance of the kampground,

Nice quiet CG. Check in was easy and the site was clean. You are a good 20 minutes from the town of Starkville. If you need supplies plan ahead.

I was given an upgrade that assigned me a site without septic, compared to my reservation that indicated I would get septic.

Nice, quiet rv park. Park manager Randy is very accommodating, friendy. Big rig friendly up to 70 ft.

The reservation process was simple thanks to Randy, the manager on site! He made himself available if needed at all and checked out as several times throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. And that it was! The deluxe cabins were clean, cozy and well equipped with everything we needed! The firewood on site allowed us to build campfires each night, and have s'mores and make memories with our grands and children! The campground was quiet, clean, and well-maintained! We will definitely be back as soon as we can get there
