Sites were very unlevel and extremely tight. Dump sewers are on top of next door camper. Hot tub was lukewarm at best.We observed people being treated rude and/or dismissed when voicing a concern.

Easygoing place in a lovely wooded area. Bayou for kayaking and fishing, plenty of outdoor games and food trucks! Easy access to Madeira Beach. We loved it!

Nice campground. Right on the bike trail. Well maintained and clean. Price is pretty high but most near a beach are.

The personnel were very knowledgable and friendly. The place was well maintained especially for the number of slots on the property. For the money, overall nice place located tucked away right near Pinellas Trail and many places for dinner and provisions. Our slot was a bit of a dirt puddle - pull thru - wished for more grass or some covering around the slot.

very nice on the water site. Koa is conveniently located in the Beach area. This is about the eight time we stayed there. Will be coming back.

One of our favorite Camping spots. The setting is beautiful. The staff is friendly. There are many planned and fun activities. The showers are strong, hot and clean! From the Honey Bee Cafe to the food trucks to the bike trails…we will be back. Highly encourage others to check it out!

This is our second stay here and we loved it, once we got into our proper site. Don’t get me wrong we were happy that we could get in a couple days early but there is a great difference between sites, the sites on the hill leave a lot to be desired in comparison to the premium sites along the bay. Nice KOA campground. Clean, nice workers, convenient to many area restaurants and stores. NOTE: Cable TV is NOT good. Grainy, blurry at times, smaller picture — hurts your eyes. Please update/ improve!

Friendly welcoming staff! Common areas very clean. Community is Active & feels welcoming… Stayed 3 nights… Close accommodations but quiet!! would have been nice to have a more groomed area … We do hope to return next year !

Everyone we encountered who was employed by the KOA at Madeira Beach was polite, pleasant, friendly, helpful. however, it is our opinion that employees while working, should not be smoking as they work. Saw one person smoking with one hand and using a tool in the other, while I tried to avoid inhaling their smoke as I walk to the bathroom not fun, not professional.

Our stay was very good overall. Our site was mostly good for a wheelchair user but was small. We were thankful for Donald who helped my wife use the two lifts for the pool and the hot tub. She used them 3 days. The 2nd time did not go well as the battery died and I had to lift her out. It is a very nice campground in a great location. We will stay again.

We loved it. We were there 1/21 to 1/24/24. Rode our bikes on the Pinellas Trail. Grrat place to stay. Staff was great. Clean. Safe.

What a dump! Site had been used as a dumping ground for debris for a year. 4 employees looked for sewer with shovels for quite awhile (no hookup for 24+ hrs). Entire campground rundown and shabby. Monthly rates not offered. Hot water not quickly available in shower houses. Unsightly main water pipes on our site. People on our site, claiming to be meter readers, no ID/warning. Never again!

The site we were on wasn't even a site. Picnic table and fire pit were behind our camper. This space was an after thought and appears to be a money grab to get another rig in. Dump station was locked and inaccessible when departing early in the morning with a sign on the gate stating $30 dump fee which I found out later didn't apply when you stayed there. Not impressed with this place at all.

Beautiful view. The sights are too close together and some can be challenging to get out of-as was ours. We were on a slope and a sight that was almost too short for our rig and truck we had to park sideways and so did most everyone around us).

Stayed about a week. Very nice facility with all the amenities (pool, mini golf, bikes, well stocked store, food wagons, kayak and canoe) you’ll need for a great stay.

The Staff was very polite and accomodating but the Campground is waaaaay too JAMMED-PACKED. Everyone is on top of everyone else!! Coming or going requires the co-operation of 2 to 3 sites and neighbors moving their vehicles around to make room. If the neighbor happens to not be around... you're our of luck.

This was our first stay and while many of the sites are MUCH too close, the staff is very friendly as are the campers. The dog park is outstanding and although it services a lot of dogs, it was almost never occupied and never dirty. They also have a smaller backup park to ease crowding. Many fine seafood restaurants nearby and a walking trail crosses right in front of the entrance.

Another great stay at the St. Petersburg / Madeira Beach KOA. AL thought early January weather is not the best, this KOA is!

LOVED this campground and all the KOA staff were fantastic! The only issue I have is the poor internet connection. I need to do some remote work and my hot spot wasn't even reliable so it made it difficult to work from the campground.

We had site 157, in this area was everything old and broken ( concrete ) The sites are very tidy to each other. The sites at the pond were like new and much bigger. I would only book one of those. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff is wonderful and ready to always help, whether it be in the office or one of the staff members riding around in their golf carts. So much to do to keep you active. From water aerobics to morning workouts to pickle ball. I love this place and the people who also camp there. Sad to go and excited to get back there!

Camp ground no rooms. The place is spotless. Need to address the hot water problem in the showers near the adult hot tub. Told to let the water run. More than 5 minutes wasn't even long enough, talk about wasting water. Lots of comments on tight sites to place your rig, not sure where they were talking about we plenty of room, awning and slide out with room to spare. Nice touch on providing tables and chairs along with a fire pit. Per friendly but unable to take the puppy anyplace. Location: down a commercial street. Not a nice area to walk through to get to outside services. All around I will be back we enjoyed the stay 4 nights.
