Road getting into park is narrow & sometimes there a low bridge that floods, but park is cute & quiet u are 4miles off highway but feel like you are in woods, birds trees deer. Staff is great if road closes calls people puts out signs! & yes there is a back road out of park adds 2miles no big deal. Small park pool & bounce pillow great for kids, bathhouse clean. Staff is GREAT Friends for life!!

Power plug, water outlet, and cable hookup on curb side. Sewer hookup on other side. Had to run hoses and wiring under trailer. No Wi-Fi (I will give them a break as a bad storm had just blown through. All grass beside trailer (no concrete, gravel or even dirt - can’t put out a rug). Only one bathhouse area beside office. Very basic.

The site was level and the hosts were really nice. The campground itself was well maintained. It was a nice stop for the night and I will be back again when I travel through the area.

A bit of a drive from expressway, but well worth the trip. Campground is very well kept and clean. Huge storm hit the area and they had some issues but went out of their way to be sure everyone had everything they needed. We will definitely come back.

Owner and staff super friendly and helpful, amenities clean (excellent bathrooms), pool was cool but fun, kids loved the mini-golf, scavenger hunt and banana cars. Jumping pillow was not working, but we still loved our stay!

We had friends meeting us there who were scheduled for another spot. When our neighbors unexpectedly checked out early, the campground moved our friends right next to us!!! Great people to do that!!

We had a great week. The staff was very friendly, the campground was clean and well cared for. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and playing at the playground.

It was a perfect getaway. A little off the beaten path, but quiet and away from the city! We enjoyed the bikes, playground and the pool! The mini-golf was fun, but needs a bit of work and the jumping pad wasnt working. The shower houses were nice and clean and they allowed us a late checkout to accommodate for our needs!

The KOA itself was good. Spots felt too close together, but the staff was friendly and got us in with no problem. However, getting there is a bit much. It would help if the website or email would let travelers know the best way to get to the park. It should also be noted this KOA is a ways off the main highways, compared to other Journeys we stayed in.

If I could give a 4 and 1/2 I would. Why I kept from a 5 is the ice cold pool which should be heated. Other than that we certainly enjoyed our stay. Kinley was so accommodating and gave us some information on some things that are worth seeing in Springfield. In general, she was just a very kind and interesting person to speak with. We enjoyed our visit. Lots for kids to do. Best sites are the back in 50 amp sites-not a lot of shade but great space to relax. We had a lot of shade, but smaller site. Great office hours and very friendly staff. It was a very busy weekend when we visited, but didn’t feel overcrowded. Close enough to drive to see Lincoln places. WiFi and cell service was spotty, if that’s important to you. Not

Lovely campground tucked away from everything. Down a country road but only minutes from Lake Springfield and all things Lincoln. Lovely level sites with plenty of shade .

Nice out of the way campground! Our original site was very tight to next site but we were moved upon request to a bigger spot. The wi-fi available was mostly none existent and Verizon service was moderate.

Very nice campground! Spotless bathrooms and showers. Staff is very friendly. It’s a bit off the interstate but the drive is pretty and worth it. It’s very quiet. No traffic noise!

A little out of town, in a nice way! Site location is clean with easy hookups. Teens said shower facilities were top rate! Highly recommend Springfield KOA!!

Staff was awesome and it is a beautiful park. Very clean and good sites. But, directions need better signs and the road to park is very narrow and needs improvement. County responsible for roads should do improvements.

Lovely, quiet location. Very tidy, plenty of space and nice pool/children's area. The shower block was spotless and the check in for late arrival was easy.

Charming campground, Quiet day and night, for a Journey it is away from the interstate / highway noise. We stayed in our fifth wheel however there are several nice cabins and a Family sized Lodge to stay in as well as secluded tent sites in various locations. Bathrooms and Showers were always clean and stocked. The store has a wide variety of items for your camping needs. New improvements are being made all around the campground and several were in process while we were there however the staff ensured the work did not interfere with any guests or activities. There are several new Electric and Water Paved back in sites while the original sites are in a shaded section and it appears all the trees were trimmed properly to prevent from low hanging branches. We met the owners and they are super nice and treat you well as do the rest of the staff we met. One of the workers (Herman) cruised the park and was always friendly. We would stay there again.
