This is remote park set in the woods. The park is well maintained and very peaceful. The staff keeps the vegetation cut back. Nice room between the sites. You have to take a 4-mile trip on back roads and a GD compressed dirt road, but they have numerous KOA signs. All sightseeing is about 20 minutes away. Lincoln Gardens (beautiful) is on road to KOA. Great place to relax.

I would like to see more signage to show whether we are going the right direction since the campground is far into the countryside. Staff is exceptionally friendly.

Lovely leafy park, with well-maintained amenities. We stayed for one night. Frank and Sherri were absolutely fantastic! They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The people are very friendly and helpful. Sites were level with easy access in and out. Laundry room was clean. The reason for the (4) star and (9) likeliness was there was no internet the entire time we were there. The reasons given were different depending on who you talked to.

Beautiful camp site. I was told at check in there will be no mosquitos and it was true no mosquitos. I would definitely stay again.

Nice campground with level sites. Road coming to the campground is dusty and has one lane bridge is the only negative point.

Best Campground on our trip- Office staff were great and park is Beautiful from first turn in to get to the camp. Meadow behind has place to walk and wonder! Quiet setting and we will be back as a destination stay!! Thanks to all there!! Great place for R & R!

Great improvement since last year. I love the pool at the campground and the lack of highway noise. I'll continue to use the springfield KOA when I visit Springfield.

The campground is great - the entire area is flat with large picnic and play areas along with putt putt golf. The tree cover was beautiful. It feels remote as you wind down the country roads and go over the one lane bridge. Would stay there again if in the Springfield / Rochester area.

Amazing! 4 of us 50-something women had our "First Annual Girls Trip" in our RV at the Springfield KOA. From the minute we got there, everyone was so helpful and friendly. Adam came to our rescue a couple times with minor issues, but was more than happy to help. All the employees in their golf carts riding around throughout the day would always smile and say hi. The site had nice trees but the gravel roads were very dusty. Some pots of flowers would make it more attractive. However, the bathrooms were nice with clean warm showers and paper towels, which we always appreciate.

We had a great stay, the staff was amazing and extremely helpful. The campground was very clean and well maintained. The only negative was the mini golf.. as travelers with 2 young kids, the kids activities are very important to us. The mini golf course was very run down and a couple of the holes were unusable. Outside of that, the kids area was fantastic, they absolutely loved the 3 wheel bikes!!

Beautiful campground, well maintained and very clean restrooms. We came in late and left early, so we didn’t get to enjoy the additional amenities offered at this location. It’s a bit of a drive off the highway but worth it for the quiet location.

One of the cleanest KOAs we have styed at. It is obvious the owners are serious about providing a great customer experience (from an awesome kid's play area, multiple dog parks, and showers that are soooo clean. They have a guy named Frank who gave us great tips on RVing. Frank also noticed that my hitch did not have a lock and explained the safety of having one. Much appreciated.

We were down there for the AFT Championship Races over Labor Day weekend and stayed there. Very clean and peaceful stay and reserv d a spot for next year too.

Clean and quiet. Well set up. Playgrounds and putt putt etc for the kids. Walmart 15 minutes away. Convenience store on property.

Charming campground, Quiet day and night, for a Journey it is away from the interstate / highway noise. We stayed in our fifth wheel however there are several nice cabins and a Family sized Lodge to stay in as well as secluded tent sites in various locations. Bathrooms and Showers were always clean and stocked. The store has a wide variety of items for your camping needs. New improvements are being made all around the campground and several were in process while we were there however the staff ensured the work did not interfere with any guests or activities. There are several new Electric and Water Paved back in sites while the original sites are in a shaded section and it appears all the trees were trimmed properly to prevent from low hanging branches. We met the owners and they are super nice and treat you well as do the rest of the staff we met. One of the workers (Herman) cruised the park and was always friendly. We would stay there again.
