Nice location, quiet stay. We were greeted by friendly staff. It had good accommodations for our dogs too. It was easy in and easy out.

Very sad that the wifi was still out from a storm in June. This should be communicated on the website. The people running the campground are really nice and everything is clean & lovely!

Campground was clean spaces were very tight the wifi was down and they still charged us an extra $20.00 for getting there early.

Laundry hours are not adequate. This is an important service that most most KOAs make available 24 hrs a day. At least they should be open all day and into the evening. WATER was very cloudy and could not fill my freshwater tank. Receptionist was very nice and helped with a reservation mixup. Park is “deep in the woods” for a KOA Journey.

Site was level and clean. Good shade all day. Wish the pool would have been open since it was plus 80 degrees the entire stay but I understand there has to be a close date set. The road in and out was a little narrow for a trailer coming int and going out at the same time. Bath house very nice.

We had two wonderful stays! The grounds are well maintained and the sites are very spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Frank and Sherry. We felt like they were friends! Planning to return next year and in the future! Thanks!

This is remote park set in the woods. The park is well maintained and very peaceful. The staff keeps the vegetation cut back. Nice room between the sites. You have to take a 4-mile trip on back roads and a GD compressed dirt road, but they have numerous KOA signs. All sightseeing is about 20 minutes away. Lincoln Gardens (beautiful) is on road to KOA. Great place to relax.

I would like to see more signage to show whether we are going the right direction since the campground is far into the countryside. Staff is exceptionally friendly.

The staff was friendly but the cabin was dirty - looked like someone swept everything under the beds, there were cobb webbs everywhere - and trash behind the cabin - just a very dirty place.

Lovely leafy park, with well-maintained amenities. We stayed for one night. Frank and Sherri were absolutely fantastic! They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The people are very friendly and helpful. Sites were level with easy access in and out. Laundry room was clean. The reason for the (4) star and (9) likeliness was there was no internet the entire time we were there. The reasons given were different depending on who you talked to.

Enjoyed the whole weekend stay . We rented a nice little cabin in a quiet areas but close enough to facilities and amenities friendly staff. We have stayed multiple times and this stay was the best so far. There little store really comes in handy for forgotten items. Pool was closed for the year but looks great for the summer. Will recommend to everyone

Nice campground with level sites. Road coming to the campground is dusty and has one lane bridge is the only negative point.

Best Campground on our trip- Office staff were great and park is Beautiful from first turn in to get to the camp. Meadow behind has place to walk and wonder! Quiet setting and we will be back as a destination stay!! Thanks to all there!! Great place for R & R!

Great improvement since last year. I love the pool at the campground and the lack of highway noise. I'll continue to use the springfield KOA when I visit Springfield.

The campground is great - the entire area is flat with large picnic and play areas along with putt putt golf. The tree cover was beautiful. It feels remote as you wind down the country roads and go over the one lane bridge. Would stay there again if in the Springfield / Rochester area.

Clean and quiet. Well set up. Playgrounds and putt putt etc for the kids. Walmart 15 minutes away. Convenience store on property.

Charming campground, Quiet day and night, for a Journey it is away from the interstate / highway noise. We stayed in our fifth wheel however there are several nice cabins and a Family sized Lodge to stay in as well as secluded tent sites in various locations. Bathrooms and Showers were always clean and stocked. The store has a wide variety of items for your camping needs. New improvements are being made all around the campground and several were in process while we were there however the staff ensured the work did not interfere with any guests or activities. There are several new Electric and Water Paved back in sites while the original sites are in a shaded section and it appears all the trees were trimmed properly to prevent from low hanging branches. We met the owners and they are super nice and treat you well as do the rest of the staff we met. One of the workers (Herman) cruised the park and was always friendly. We would stay there again.
