Lots of room to roam. Everything is in excellent condition. Clean laundry, restrooms, and showers. Nearby train track runs all night and may be loud to some people. It never woke me, but it did wake my wife. Not a deal breaker, we would return for another visit.

Very nice grounds, everything was clean, the pool was refreshing, friendly staff. Can't complain about anything!! They even delivered pizza to our site!!

Best place to stay as all is very well kept. KOA folks are very kind & helpful. Owners care very much about this park & even do work by hand themselves. Need a great place then stay here & enjoy!

It was wonderful but since we arrived late, we couldn't swim. That was one reason why we stayed there. The bugs were a tad much. The light on the front porch of the cabin wouldn't go off and the air conditioner was not cold! However we made the most of it and the people in the office were very nice.

We have been staying at this Springfield location over several years on our way to Chicago. The cabins are affordable, communal restroom is clean, amenities are incredible. Always enjoyed kicking back in the pool after a day of driving, and it’s so convenient to have pizza and chicken wings on site. The staff is courteous and helpful.

Didn’t know it was adjacent to a train track. That, combined with garbage pickup at 4:45am made for difficult sleep.

Easy to reserve and check in, plus nice campgrounds and staff. Was able to pull in and get set up quick. Tent camping spots were well kept, and there’s enough trees between each spot for a little privacy as well. Everything was great except 2 women across the road let their dogs run around unleashed — they wandered, crapped at my campsite & harassed me & my dog, owners were too drunk to notice

10 stars for this location! The park is small, but has nice amenities. We loved being able to order freshly-made pizza and wings that were delivered to our RV. And Sherri in the office is FABULOUS! All the staff was very friendly and helpful. This location has won the KOA President's Award every year since 2004 and it's easy to see why. They genuinely want their visitors to enjoy their stay!

Loved all the mature shade trees, the pool was very nice and the store/office was nicely stocked. Hook up's were easy. Off the beaten path, it was quiet (but for the train you could hear every so often). It was clean and we felt safe. We will likely return. We only got to stay one night but it was restful.

Stopped for an overnight, very impressed. They even delivered the pizza to our camp site, never had that happen at other places!

The campground was clean and shady. However, it sits right beside a train track with trains going by constantly and also an airport so it was hard to sleep. The camper spots were small and very close together so the kids didn’t have much room to play. We liked the amenities that were offered.

Location being off a township road was a little hard to get to however park was great, staff was amazing and, although there was no restaurants near by, the RV park did offer pizza and wings. Would definately stay again. Level sites. Accommodated our big rig with ease.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Although the campground is on the outskirts of the city, there are restaurants as close as about 5 minutes away. Our pizza and wings are great options as well!

Second time we have stayed at Springfield KOA. Very nice park and well maintained. We have only done overnight on travels here but each time we have gotten a pizza and drinks delivered via the golf cart delivery. Clean bath house and shower stalls.

Very nice cabin! We had a problem with the TV and the proprietor came right away in the rain and quickly fixed it. Very friendly and accommodating.
