Great other than having to listen to another campers dogs barking, barking, barking! Owners of the dog's could care less! Did report it.

Beautiful campground close to everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The free island bus shuttle was very convenient and picked up right in front of the campground. My only complaint is that we weren't able to stay longer. We will be back. Thank you!

Clean park with nice rock driveways to keep out the dirt. One of the best KOA’s we’ve stayed at. We really enjoyed our stay.

Pool was closed for 2 days. No hot water in men’s shower one night. Friendly check in staff.

Nice level space with great neighbors and near the marina and restaurants on the pier. Town is only a 5 mile long strip accessible by free metro bus if you take a short walk to the Visitor Center to pick it up. South Padre had just had rain so the mosquitos at dusk were vicious. We had a very nice visit. The temporary bathrooms worked well too for nice hot showers.

The park is old and the spots are tights. The pool and hot tub area needs major help. There were many days during our stay that both were very dirty. Someone needs to learn proper pool maintenance. There are plenty of work campers driving around in golf cart but not much work getting done. We heard alot of complaining among the staff. I expected more, especially for the price we paid.

The additional restrooms are a great improvement. I hope that they will be a permanent fixture even after the new facility is built.

We stayed for 4 weeks and noticed a lot of small trash throughout the park. The dog park is on the small side and the dog walk has a large fire ant mound. The park felt small with the area by the bay blocked off due to the construction. This area was opened up for the Space X launch giving a great view.

The campground was nice and the staff was excellent. My one complaint is that there were no fire facilities at campsites. Especially the expensive patio sites. They should have grills and fire pits.

Very friendly staff. Clean. Nice location. Had a great Get Together for the Thanksgiving holiday. Dinner in the tent. They provided turkey, dressing, potatoes and beverages. Others that wanted to, brought a dish to share. Huge turnout, lots of different foods.

Staff is extremely helpful being able to purchase propane and have your vehicle and coach washed is extremely convenient. I talked to two different staff members about marijuana being used on the camp grounds. This is some thing I don’t want to experience with my stay.

Staff friendly. Park clean. Spaces decent size. Showers not great. Ladies shower had rusty shower caddy that looked nasty. Men's shower 2 of three stalls not usable. One shower that was usable the faucet was faulty and hard to control temp.

we love our spot overlooking the wetlands. very convenient. nice people working the place. loved watching the hovercraft.

Disappointed with the view! Paid for a premium site thinking we would have a view of the bay. NOT! We had a view of the playground and bounce pad! We do not have children or pets, but always seem to get placed in a site directly in front of one or the other every time we stay at a KOA. Location was great, campground not so much.

Was a nice area. Camp site are pretty tight. Didn’t like how the workers and new neighbors used my front door space as their sidewalk. People kept walking in front of my bedroom window upsetting our dogs. It felt like the neighbor in front of us was taking over and we were squished to a tight space.

We were there for 6 nights. It was a very enjoyable stay. The reception ladies were very pleasant and helpful. The workers were always ready to help out or answer questions. No issues!

This is our favorite place to stay! Everyone at this KOA is super friendly and helpful! The spot we stayed in was nice, the pool is awesome, the shower houses and laundry room are always clean! We feel safe there. Our son rides his bike around and we enjoy walking our dogs over to the dock! We highly recommend!

Great location, but as I told the staff, the sites are too close together. Literally couldn’t get to the faucet to turn the water on and off without squeezing past the other trailer which was less than a foot away from me. Even in late October rates were still about $90/night.

We really enjoyed our stay at South Padre. The camping location is awesome, close to beaches. Service and staff have been super good and general cleanness is excellent despite the strong wind that was making the life little bit harder. Our spot was tight (like more or less all spots) but we've been lucky because for the whole stay (almost 20 days) nobody occupied the spot in front of us so we have space for the car and also free view.
