Swimming pool was out of service due to propane shortage. Great excuse not to pay for it to work properly during off season.

The downside is that the sites are pretty tight. The upside is the heated pool and hot tub, great location, sunset deck, and trash pick up. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

We started in site 52, then moved to site 69, and are now back into site 52. We had issues with internet in 69, my guess is it comes from the commons area, and we were just farther away from the source in site 69 . We thought that there would be a restaurant and bar here at the park. My wife is disappointed in the lack of exercise equipment to use, to rehab after an accident. Otherwise, nice

New management is much better than years prior. Grounds staff and office staff are much more friendly and willing to help.

We had some bad weather, so we couldn’t use the facilities. But the sites are really close! Otherwise, it would have been great.

Best KOA we’ve been to so far and we’ve stayed at 7 different ones. The cold and rainy weather was our only disappointment. Amazing location!

We loved this KOA, and are frequent visitors to KOAs in US. The level sites are gravel with a stamped patio. Ours was a standard site. Not much distance between sites but we had plenty of awing space. Staff is very attentive, visible and grounds are very clean. My husband rates the BR a 9, extremely clean. Laundry faculties ample. Did not use pool but many did. Beautiful views at the sunset deck.

Loved our stay in South Padre! KOA was great... just have to remember you are on an island where real-estate is a premium! We look forward to coming back when we are in the area.

Quiet and clean. The rvs were pretty close together with weedy gravel sites. There were upgrades in process, so it wasn't quite at 100%. It was about a mile walk or bike ride to the beach. Several restaurants were within walking distance.

Wonderful clean well equipped campground. Location to beach and services excellent. Would be wonderful if a fishing dock was added or access to water to fish from shore.

As usual, no surprises, and this KOA certainly has a great location. Although we stayed in our van for the 5-day visit, the KOA cabins are placed right on the water's edge and are a great alternative! My spouse and I were not impressed however by the seemingly aloof office representative.

We always enjoy our stay here. The campground does need a little TLC and there is a lot of cigarette butts on the sites but otherwise fine. The employees are all very nice. We love the pool!

Well, it was mostly clean, and the staff was pretty friendly. But I'm not sure what is going on there, and no one offered an explanation. There were almost zero activities while we were there ! And all of the exercise equipment (treadmills, elliptical machines) was unplugged ! Terrible internet and wifi ! Need to get into at least the 20th century with it ! Very disappointed.

Called to see if we could get in the night before and was told they were full, checked in the next day early because our space was open the night before? Hence we could have camped there the night before instead of searching for another space the night before.

Nice location. The sites are very close to neighbors and tighter than I expected. Some have more privacy than others (premium). Nice location and clean property. Trash pickup was great too.

Spots are a little tight for our rig. Hosts that park you apparently have never driven big rigs. Id suggest they talk to the drivers first, ask them their thoughts of parking and make certain the driver can see them clearly. Staff is friendly.

Nice park but parking our 43' coach was a challenge. Park guides could have guided us in from the opposite direction for easier site access.

Very nice park and excellent service personnel. Blue tank restrooms and showers are kept clean but are outdated. Also many residents have dogs and they clean up after them. Barking during quiet hours is not a problem, but can be rather noisy sometimes during daylight hours.

We absolutely loved it there. Perfect location close to the beach, bikeable to bars and restaurants. Everything was clean and very well kept up, and the staff was helpful and very courteous! I would recommend South Padre Island KOA to anyone!

Excellent Stay. Enjoyed the events, the grounds. I wish the showers and bathrooms where better kept seem outdated but overall working.

We really enjoyed our stay at South Padre. The camping location is awesome, close to beaches. Service and staff have been super good and general cleanness is excellent despite the strong wind that was making the life little bit harder. Our spot was tight (like more or less all spots) but we've been lucky because for the whole stay (almost 20 days) nobody occupied the spot in front of us so we have space for the car and also free view.
