Very clean and excellent service from staff

I know a lot of people like it there but I expected a beach along the property. I’m used to koas having bigger sites I felt cramped in there. Parking for automobiles was awful. Laundry was crazy ten washers and dryers for the whole campgrounds.

The staff was very friendly. They are currently renovating but it didn’t affect our stay. Their heated pool and hot tub were very enjoyable. Added bonuses were free aquafit classes 3 times a week and gym equipment. They had events in the common area.I hope they add a dog wash station during their renovations, after a day at the beach it would be nice to wash our dogs. Definitely going back agai

Beautiful campground and opportunity to meet many wonderful "Winter Texans". Support staff is excellent! We heard multiple people frustrated with having to move multiple times within their stay. One couple moved 5 times in a two week period. This is not acceptable (thus a 4 rating)

Over all very nice. Great location and we had a wonderful site. I would think that for $100+/night there would be concrete pads instead of gravel.

Great campground, clean, well laid out. Friendly staff. Easy access to restaurants the beach and everything SPI has to offer.

Park well kept. Bathroom, showers, and laundry clean. Pool and jacuzzi heated. While on the bay and not the gulf, was a nice walk every day for a beach walk. Great views of Space X. Met some really nice people that come every year. Construction of new buildings is set to begin so we’ll see what that brings. The bad, way too many dogs. People with multiple dogs and a few aggressive dogs.

Great location but the restrooms are below what you find at Texas state parks. Rumor is they will be upgraded. Wish there was a weekly rate. I was there 2 weeks and paid what people were paying for a month

Campground great location but needs a little TLC. I was told that our site (129) was 48 ft long which we thought would accommodate both our truck and motorhome. Was a bit cramped!

Have been here a couple months and plan to stay 2 more. Really appreciate the opportunity but would be nice not to have to move around so much into different sites. Why can't system allow others coming in if not secured their sites with extra fee move to site they ask me to move too when I'm already here. Lovely park and great staff and diligent service by all...

The location is lovely - great sunset views. RV's are jammed in pretty tight. Not a lot of space for walking your dogs. The pool and spa were heated and fun, but maybe it's time to update the furniture there - perhaps a few plants? Overall a park we will be happy to return to!

Location is fantastic & staff are friendly. The sundeck is great. The pool & hot tub are nice but could be cleaner. The sites are super small & tight. The indoor facilities all need refreshing. The common area & gym were in flux, almost unusable for our stay. Pier 19 burned down & sauna doesn’t exist. New store small & no stock. For price should have been better, still enjoyed our stay.

Check in was easy and everyone there was super nice. Spots are a little close together, but no issues. Over all thumbs up.

We had a great month long stay here. We were greeted with friendly staff and they help you to get into your site. It was a bit tight but we made it. Sites are very tight but all the staff are so friendly. Always say hello when we pass. Went to some of the events, they were nice to have. Loved they had a pool but we never even went since weather didn't cooperate. We loved it here!

The downside is that the sites are pretty tight. The upside is the heated pool and hot tub, great location, sunset deck, and trash pick up. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

We started in site 52, then moved to site 69, and are now back into site 52. We had issues with internet in 69, my guess is it comes from the commons area, and we were just farther away from the source in site 69 . We thought that there would be a restaurant and bar here at the park. My wife is disappointed in the lack of exercise equipment to use, to rehab after an accident. Otherwise, nice

We loved this KOA, and are frequent visitors to KOAs in US. The level sites are gravel with a stamped patio. Ours was a standard site. Not much distance between sites but we had plenty of awing space. Staff is very attentive, visible and grounds are very clean. My husband rates the BR a 9, extremely clean. Laundry faculties ample. Did not use pool but many did. Beautiful views at the sunset deck.

Loved our stay in South Padre! KOA was great... just have to remember you are on an island where real-estate is a premium! We look forward to coming back when we are in the area.
